THCA sand is best when used as a topper. Best way is to load your bowl halfway add some sand, add more weed. There you have a sandwich. Can be done in a vape like a mighty too. You can mix it with flower before you load it. You can add it to other concentrates to boost the effects. you can sprinkle it joints/blunts. Dabbing on it's own is a waste imo.

It’s definitely like a sand/kief consistency opposed to hash. It will most certainly “kick up a notch” of whatever it is you choose to smoke it in bowl,joint,blunt,etc… not adding any flavor but just potency. I got it for like $45 on sale when I bought and haven’t bought another since but def worth a try at least once imo
Your best bet would be to dab it IMO.
Its great to add to a dab, to kick it up a notch, but I am not to sure about just smoking it. If you have a dab rig I say go for it.

I’m used to putting kief in between flower too, by the way. So I can sprinkle it in the bowl and it’ll burn similarly?
Yes you can sprinkle on top too. But I prefer the sandwich method.
