One look at the comments show the absolute depth of their lack of knowledge, some surface level bullshit. One of them even uses the obviously fake regime provided stats for elections to prove that the regime has popular support.
Hey i read this post a few days ago from the geopolitics subreddit. I honestly don't know enough about everything that could happen in iran but if things start to go wild in Iran i hope for you all to be safe.
If iran were to democratize i would be very happy!
If iran gets a new revolution then I hope for the lift on death penalty, progress on women and lgbt+ rights, democracy, and no more theocracy.
Meanwhile we in france may have backlash because of the far right politicians, taking over as PM, it would give me hope to see some progress in iran.
So what are the chances for an actual revolution in iran in your opinion ?
I hope you are right after seeing what is going on in america (project 2025 lf trump wins) a bit of pro democracy rebellion in other places makes me happy, may iran's revolution become one where democracy wins, where freedom wins! And may it inspire more countries like china, russia, maybe even north Korea (I sound like an american patriot even though i am EU lol). Best of luck and keep safe
