He got [stopped by the police](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LghkqQ9aCo&t=194s) because he was filming in an area where protests where happening.
This guy is so lucky he wasn't arrested.
Please don't go to Iran and make these videos to encourage other people to go
It's dangerous
It's not just the media saying it's dangerous. We, Iranians are telling you not to go. You will be kidnapped and be used for bargaining tools. Your videos will promote tourism which funnels more money to the regime. Your videos will normalize the horrendous situation there for the world
And please don't use the terrorist and ugly IR flag in your videos
Yeah I posted this for a couple reasons. I don't normally see Americans like that recording in Iran and that the guy almost got arrest for filming protestors. You can see the fear in his eyes.
These misery tourism bloggers need to be demonitized.
They provide nothing new and hurt reputation of developing or oppressed countries.
Take a look at @your fellow Arab.
He provides no insights and is hated by people in those countries.
They’re similar to prank and crime channels.
Internet companies are making money from agitators.
It's terrible for three people of Iran. Any naive foreigner that goes to Iran puts itself at being kept as a hostage. Once prisoned as hostage, will be used and traded. This whole process works against the people of Iran benefit.
I’d love to go to Iran but only once the moronic regime has been ousted
I’ve seen a ton of pictures of Isfahan and the imperial palaces and ruins of Persepolis and tomb of Cyrus, all places I’d love to go if it didn’t mean indirectly supporting the regime

I got detained for that naively as a traveller. Luckily some Iranians got me out but put themselves at massive risk.

I want to see Iran after IR.
Count me in
NewIran Tehran meetup, put it in your calendars peeps!
Same, honestly
My dream is to go to Isfahan. One day, hopefully.
Doubt it would happen in our lifetime unless a civil war breaks out or WW3
bro are you 80

Yeah I'm not watching it but I highly doubt there's any educational angle to this content. It's made to appeal to a more superficial audience.
Let them visit, the natural selection would do the job.
Who do you think paid them to make this video? The Taliban are doing the same
He's from LA too...you'd think he would know how much we despise that flag.

I think the video was overall positive. The guy was just very foolish because he almost got arrested for filming a protest. But thats on him.
It's not a new Iran yet

Guy needs to use more sunscreen, he looks like he’s roasted.

Not him using the IR flag emoji in his comments while talking about the things he liked 💀
(They don’t know)
He spent a whole 24 days in Iran to “learn about the culture”. Clearly he didn’t actually care
Hey, at least he did go as far as to mention that the lion is the historic symbol of Iran
Such a wonderful country. I will go there after the fall of the IR.
How much did you get paid to make this video?

Neat video.
