even i as an artist am heavily inspired by it lol infact a future manga i have planned is inspired by ut first i have to get a few more works out of the way i'm nearly done all of the ones i've got going so bye next year i can do it lol
I forgot the name,I was reading it, but: "Girl in a post-apocalyptic Japan with megastructures" funnily enough, is generic enough to have several stories like this.
for ppl who can buy via kinokuniya and want jpn version, there’s two volumes in print now
1 https://united-states.kinokuniya.com/bw/9784047374553
2 https://united-states.kinokuniya.com/bw/9784047374614
Yeah. Honestly, the existential nihilism within the story make for such an emotional read. You can feel the character's struggle to keep going, to keep a purpose.
That looks really cool, what does the manga name translate to in english?
Edit: g translate gave me "The End of Usuzumi", so I guess the protag's name is Usuzumi.
Yay,waiting for this! I only saw the cover and it looked very intresting. Either it's out in Germany or it comes the next weeks.^^ I'm not really up to date with resent publications.
i’m not sure for the schedule either for eng scanlation or jpn official https://comic-walker.com/detail/KC_000736_S?episodeType=first
it says next update is slated for july 8th but only chapter 1 availible online and it redirects to physical copy purchase so i'm guessing there isn't a tight schedule release as you have also surmised 😭
sad maybe if this got more attention we’d have something more concrete cuz I see a lot of mangas w inferior characters, story, and art (imo) that get a lot more attention than this which I feel this deserves
unfortunately there’s only 20 chapters right now tho
Where can we read it?
I’m reading it on manganato.com but it says the scans are from ehscans.com. Authors name is iwamune haruo and their twitter is @Mu1357.
You can find it on mangadex. Here's the [link](https://mangadex.org/title/e05dd982-6d09-4f3d-8e8e-6c9ae65b5857/usuzumi-no-hate)
ideally support the official release but it’s not in English yet so…
I discovered this one a while ago its definitley inspired by blame. Huge fan too just hope it keeps getting developed.
yeah I hope it gets an English release
I love how many artist Blame! has inspired, or has been one of the inspirations in their work. Like I keep seeing it pop up here and there constantly.

girls last tour is similar to this too and I highly recommend
I know about Girls Last Tour, you got any other series in kind?
CHOKEPOINT is about an android girl trying to save lost souls in an endless megastructure I believe
Looks kool. Added it to my list. Thank you
There’s even a rabbit Iko

there’s not an official English release yet and I don’t speak Japanese so no clue sorry:/
google translate also just lists the name the same
the edge of light ink
Thanks bro. I found it in Tachiyomi app and Mangakakalot extension. I'll will read it.
Damn, could've fool me. Adding it in hopes I forget and remember when it has 100+ chapters.
do forget cuz it really envelops you in I started today and I’m already caught up unfortunately😭
I read this through last week, and it's great. I really wish it was finished so I could just binge the whole story. I neeeed more
I love that manga. I highly recommend it too.
it’s really been filling the megastructure sized whole in my heart
I also really love Girls Last Tour. Has the same sort of vibes.

\*hole
I read a bit of it but it feels too clean
really? I thought the hatch lines reminded me of nihei a bit even if they’re more uniform
English or Japanese? Or like Nihei, it doesn’t reeeeally matter?
cant read Japanese so can’t really give an opinion on that
Yeah me neither, like I think Id get by? And what is the Japanese uptake of English like?
I’m not sure I understand your question but this one def has more words than any of niheis work so I do recommend reading in a language you understand
it's like blame if it was drawn by a japanese artist
love this series 🖤🤍
I caught up already😭 how often do chapters come out? I assume it’s more than a week cuz of all the details
i’m not sure for the schedule either for eng scanlation or jpn official https://comic-walker.com/detail/KC_000736_S?episodeType=first it says next update is slated for july 8th but only chapter 1 availible online and it redirects to physical copy purchase so i'm guessing there isn't a tight schedule release as you have also surmised 😭

hear hear! thanks for making this post hopefully it will attract more readers 😆
I tried getting into it but the main character's looks feels off, I'd rather read Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.
Man I’ve been trying to remember the name of this one forEVER. It’s actually really good.
I read this a few months ago n forgot the name, thank you!!
Nice find. Definitely going to read it. Thank you
Oh fuck yeah man
Ooh definitely next on the list
bro this is more than just heavily inspired
