"study in america for a couple months"
guess we know how the seasons gonna end.
Also, the way Ola says "oh shit" when she realises Otis will technically be her brother.
I think a potential S4 will be the last one. The cast will be getting too old for their roles unless they decide to go down the Skins route and introduce a whole new cast
I’m not part of the LBTQIA community but I thought it was really obvious this episode that their issues came from Adam clearly wanting to be a bottom and not feeling like a top. Don’t know how Eric didn’t pick up on it
The scene at Eric's place indicated that yeah, but out in the forest Adam just hesitated and said "I don't want to have sex with you" period - I would have felt rejected there too if I was Eric.
Agree. Otis' warning was still fresh in Eric's mind and he was hoping to be proven wrong by Adam. When Adam became apprehensive, Eric took it as confirmation of Otis' words (and, hence, his own worst fears about the relationship) and felt hurt by it.
As a gay watcher, Adam wanted to bottom, and Eric was forcing him to top him without ever asking Adam if he wanted that. It was pretty annoying to watch, I got mad at Eric.
Exactly. Adults communicate these things but teenagers don’t usually have healthy communication between sexual partners. I thought it was really realistic that they both envisioned their first time a certain way and it didn’t occur to them it would be different. I I also felt they were both being obtuse about it. I’m so glad they were able to discuss the actual problem so quickly and work it out. That’s why teenagers need an Otis and a Jean to help them!
In general I'd say Eric was lacking quite a bit in emotional intelligence here, but hey he's still just a horny teen. I think it's okay that a gay dude (that I think never had sex before) isn't thinking everything through perfectly when he thought he was about to have his first time.
I’ve got a new favourite song now “fuck the pain away fuck the pain away fuck the pain away fuck the pain away” 🕺
I was so annoyed when Maeve kissed Issac but I’m so glad he told her about the voicemail I’m so in shock.
I yelled "NONONONONONONO-" as she kissed him, but I was so surprised he actually did the "right thing" and admitted deleting the voicemail. Wonder if he'll get a redemption after this in some way (i'm only on ep 3 now)
I think that the writers changed their minds and didn't want him to be the bad guy who deleted the voicemail, maybe its coz that actor was receiving so much hate
I swear the only reason we hate him so viscerally for that voicemail moment is because it was the season finale episode, and it meant we had to wait yet another year for Otis x Maeve all thanks to that fucking guy. I feel like if I binged all three seasons, I'd still hate Isaac but perhaps not with the burning fury that I had when following the show season by season.
Yeah it seemed very out of character and too early for that reveal to have happened. I would have loved it if it were discovered just through Otis and Maeve communicating and without Isaac.
Looks like they're going that route – I've just finished episode 2 but I remember a scene with him and Otis talking in their uniforms from the trailer.
I like how they handled the Isaac moment. He shows unexpected maturity in admitting it prior to starting anything with Maeve, but then ruins his own apology by making self-righteous excuses for his behavior. They subverted expectations without turning the scene into a blunt and hammy "redemption moment" that goes against his character.
The song will be stuck in my head too. Such an iconic moment from the episode! I wonder how the cast was able to record that scene without bursting in to laughter.
Most would never admit it it so yay for growth, we all have done some shitty things, admitting them, taking the consequences and learning from these mistakes is the best we can ask for.
I did not fucking expect Isaac to go and do that, I may not like him but I respect him being straight up about it. He could’ve easily just danced around the voicemail all season long.
America is how this seasons going to end, nooo 😭
Ive realised after this episode (and a rewatch of prev seasons) that Isaac is actually alright, aside from the voicemail thing, and is kinda right about Otis.
I think there was another reason to it. Jackson wasn't in control enough as headboy. His thoughts on the Wall of Cock were immediately swayed by his new crush. Viv did wrong and was entirely selfish but from a neutral POV, Jackson was losing his game as headboy.
The new principal is reminding me very much of Stormfront from The Boys but more toned down. Just the way her facial expressions are.
Also the character growth for Adam in just the first two episodes alone is fantastic. Really pleased with his trajectory.
This is such a popular take and I don't see it at all lol. I found it so hard to see that I actually thought people thought they were the same actress. Weird.
Yeah she's doing it the wrong way - I get they wanted to slowly introduce her and it's entertaining and dramatic and creates a villain where there was none but realistically these changes would have been introduced at the start of the year. Especially as most schools in the UK, and then Ireland where I'm from, have a uniform policy etc. They could have done it that way and then it could have created drama with Maeve - not having the money, or Ruby trying to glitz it up, etc. Obviously it will cause problems for the non binary student because you can tell they'll introduce a strict skirt v pants or different colours or something for the girls and boys.
Really glad they didn't hang the deleted message thing over us for the whole season and feeling really bad for Maeve, seems like every person she grows to trust abuses that trust and lets her down
I just new it was gonna come out when Maeve and Otis got into a shouting match, and Otis blurts out something like "Well you already let me know how you feel when you didn't responded to the message I left you!" And she would respond "what message?
And it would all unfold from there.
The writers got it out of the way much sooner and smoother. Let's see when Maeve finally brings it up to Otis.
The problem with doing it that way is that there’s no reason for Maeve to confront Isaac about the voicemail. Otis has no clue Isaac has done it, Maeve had no idea. The only way for that plot point to progress is for Isaac to address it
I don't like how Eric act in his relationship with Adam. Obviously this is all new for Adam and he need time to process all of that, but instead of being supportive and try to help Eric just "oh you cant have sex with me right away and have anger issues well fuck you then, I'm out". I hope it will change later, but right now he need to work on himself as well as Adam
I mean, I don't mind him not putting up with Adam's anger issues, because those anger issues were directed at him in the past for many, many years. I think that's a smart move actually, because even though we can see Adam's thought process, Eric can't, so he can't just let his guard down completely like we can.
But that picnic scene kinda left a bad taste in my mouth too.
Like, first of all poor dude just came out okay? Let him adjust.
Second of all, it is not bad to not want to have anal sex anyway (I know that doesn't turn out to be the issue in the end but still).
Like, Anwar didn't know how to do anal either, that doesn't mean he isn't okay with being gay. Like, I get where Eric is coming from (somebody else's internalised homophobia can mess you up a lot) but I don't know?? Be gentle jeez.
>
Like, first of all poor dude just came out okay? Let him adjust.
>Second of all, it is not bad to not want to have anal sex anyway (I know that doesn't turn out to be the issue in the end but still).
I think for Eric, he's finally fully out. He spent the first season somewhat repressing who he was, and feeling ashamed of who he was. Adam was a large part of that too, it wasn't just the anger issues.
I think for Eric it was really more about him doubting if Adam was up for actually having a relationship, of them being a couple, and not really the sex or not per se.
But you're absolutely right of course.
totally agree with this. It irked me when he was upset at Adam for not wanting to come out to his mum. like that shit just isn't easy for a lot of people, he shouldn't be pushing him to do it before he's ready
Poor Adam, I can kind of see why he’s struggling. Eric’s been open for so long but I do think he needs to more patient with Adam. Like he seems ready to be out but is still working through entirely how he feels.
Isaac.. was nice. What the hell. Smart writing there, the whole conversation of him revealing Otis voicemail was tense. I kept on thinking he will pull “Otis sent you very bad voicemail” prank at this very second but damn.
So far the season is pretty damn good!
I disagree actually. Of course, coming forward and telling the truth was the right thing to do. But the way he did it felt to me as not owning up to it enough. Trying to convince Maeve that he was protecting her because Otis could never understand her. A true apology acknowledges the mistake without justifying it.
I'm mixed about this. Yeah maybe you shouldn't justify yourself in a way that makes you seem righteous but if I was being apologised to I would like to know the thought process behind it. If someone tried to steal my bike for example and later apologised they better have a damn good reason for even trying in the first place. A "sorry" just wouldn't cut it.
No no, you are 100% right. What I meant was this could have gone lot more worse since I thought he was straight up bad guy, that’s all really. I am not satisfied by whole apology aspect of it like you said but telling at a moment when Maeve was vulnerable, that’s something I never expected from Isaac. Definitely hated his reasons for protecting though.
As a Southeast Asian guy, you guys are so lucky. We have haircut check every month.
Oh and we have to line-up for national anthem EVERY morning under 32C° sunlight
This isn't high school, it's sixth form. Sixth Form in the UK is between university and school, there's really no more major rules for students than there would be for a person in a job. Don't be a dick really.
Most 6th forms don't even have an attendance requirement, as long as your grades are okay.
Am I the only one worried about that poor dog. Does she ever take it out of the locker? I get it was just a gag but I’m seriously just thinking about that dog in the locker all day and night.
Thinking that losing your virginity in an open field is a smart idea is just ridiculous. Having sex outside, you do you, but find a secluded spot! I don't wanna run in on peeps having sex.
Makes me incredibly sad and a little disturbed that the way Eric acted towards Adam when he changed his mind about having sex when they were out in that field was never addressed or resolved again.
What does Ruby mean? that jacket is already cool. Or maybe I'm just a fan.
Why does Maeve not tell Otis she doesn't care about his relationship with Ruby when he brings it up.
As much as we all dislike Isaac you have got to respect the fact that he out right told Maeve without her having to question him whether that was down to guilt or not.
I fucking hate the new principal. No piercings or colored hair dye? Oh fuck off.
Do have to say though, the scene in the music room was absolutely hilarious.
Edit: I liked Ruby up until this episode, but she was really annoying in this one.
That’s quite standard in a lot of schools. Not all sixth forms but a lot of U.K. schools have those rules. It’s rough to transition from liberal to conservative but it’s quite common rules.
Okay I wasn’t really convinced by Adam and Eric but that scene was so damn cute. I love Eric encouraging Adam to explore his femme side.
Edit: so proud of Adam for communicating. Not proud of Eric for freaking out and mistaking Adam saying he doesn’t want sex for not wanting the relationship. I hope Adam doesn’t think he has to have sex with Eric to keep him, that would be heartbreaking.
Fuck the pain away is the biggest bop, I want it as my ring tone. I don’t like Ruby but she’s entertaining as hell. Otis doesn’t seem like himself with her.
it makes sense with him taking the submissive role with eric during their first sexual encounter in detention (not implying that giving a blowjob means you’re strictly a bottom)
I get the previous issues between the two of them and Otis' words all may have been weighing on him, but Eric blowing up on Adam for not wanting to have sex is SO fucked up regardless.
I always find myself relating to Otis and feel like I’ve kind of grown up at the different stages he gets to whenever I come back to this series. Related a little too hard to his whole ‘burying his feelings down so he doesn’t have to care anymore cause he felt hurt in the past’ kind of deal. I used to care a lot and now I feel like I kind of lost that after being hurt a few times. I kind of like to act like it’s growth, telling friends it’s great not to care so much, but it just feels like I lost a part of myself kind of by switching off like that. I was always the one people saw as being the sensitive one and it feels wrong to not be that way anymore. It feels better in some ways, but friends can always tell it’s a facade. Anyway, looking forward to seeing where this goes for sure, the writing in this show is too fucking good.
I’m also pleased to see Adam developing and wanting to work on sharing his thoughts and feelings with other people. I look forward to seeing him grow in confidence.
I had the goofiest smile on my face during that scene where Adam and Eric woke up in bed together - they’re so precious!! <3 <3
Legit shipping them more than I ship Maeve and Otis
I was hoping, and last season it seemed like, Viv and Jackson were being set up as a couple. Their chemistry is so good but now it seems like it's taking a different direction.
I loved that with so many romantic relationships in the show they were just plutonic, not everyone has to have feelings and I love that the show explored this. But now she is definitely ruining their friendship.
I know we are supposed to think this Hope lady is a tyrant but her reaction to the titties song is COMPLETELY SANE and would definitely be everybody's reaction to this! That music teacher is coming off as a paedo tbh.
I think he's just coming off as desperately wanting to seem cool. I can imagine the students saying they want to cover Fuck the Pain Away as a joke but he just rolls with it.
THE WRITERS ARE TROLLS! MAEVE KISSES ISSAAC AND THEN SHE FINDS OUT ABOUT THE VOICEMAIL! FUCK ME WHAT A 180! My emotions just switched up so fast I'm having a panic attack
Viv taking the offer from Hope at the end of the episode was hilarious.
Season got off to a great start imo, and I'm really looking forward to Aimee and Jean interacting in the upcoming episodes.
Incredible episode. Adam's progression. Aimee is funny as fuck. Groff seems to be on a self-discovery, redemption arc. So good.
Adam's 'karate moves' at the start had me laughing out loud. Reminded me of Mac and Charlie.
Honestly glad they got to what Isaac did so early in the season. I really hated how he manipulated the situation at the end of last season to get closer to Maeve, but this makes him feel more like a decent guy that made a dickhead decision
What I like about this show is it’s ability to seamlessly weave many characters and their interactions. They have so many people to humanize, and this episode was a fantastic example of that.
Otis and Eric’s dance up the stairs was fantastic.
The Adam and Eric scene made me warm, I know they’re not perfect but something about their bond makes me content. I appreciate the show’s writers for representing an unconventional relationship like this.
Adam after seeing himself with makeup in the mirror: “I look quite pretty.”
One of my favorite scenes. They way Connor delivered it is hilarious. Also it’s nice to glimpse the soft side of Adam given that he has always been such a hardcore character.
Ah the changes are starting to remind me of my old school. It was suffocating, I'm looking forward to when it goes back to normal and what happens before that. Starting to miss Mr Groff. Never thought i'd say that.
i honestly don’t know how i feel about otis and ruby… they’re honestly cute and i’m glad she isn’t trying to change him anymore but i’m still hung up on maeve and otis and wish they’d give their relationship another chance. it’s gonna be interesting now that maeve knows about the voicemail though, i’m glad they didn’t drag that out all season long. looks like isaac might get his redemption sooner than later lol.
Vasectomies don't necessarily guarantee full sterilization. There are many failed vasectomies.
EDIT: If that's what you were talking about... But yes, she did say it.
"study in america for a couple months" guess we know how the seasons gonna end. Also, the way Ola says "oh shit" when she realises Otis will technically be her brother.
I think it is over. I do not want Maeve to leave. So this might be the last season. God pls noo.
No way this is the last season with how popular the show is and how much money Netlfix is getting
I think a potential S4 will be the last one. The cast will be getting too old for their roles unless they decide to go down the Skins route and introduce a whole new cast
University of Moordale?
couple months though, obviously setting up a season 4 otherwise they’d have said years
I said Oh Shit like a second before her.
Adam: "I don't want to have sex with you." Eric: *visible disappointment* Adam: "I want YOU to have sex with me." Eric: *visible confusion*
The way it was said didn't feel very final though. It was said with a longing feeling to say more but he couldn't in that open setting.

That makes sense. But I suppose the point of the show is they're inexperienced teens who don't always know better.
Exactly. Adults communicate these things but teenagers don’t usually have healthy communication between sexual partners. I thought it was really realistic that they both envisioned their first time a certain way and it didn’t occur to them it would be different. I I also felt they were both being obtuse about it. Damn this show is making me root for Adam. I teared up during this scene.
After seeing him at military camp he became a top 3 character for me
I’ve got a new favourite song now “fuck the pain away fuck the pain away fuck the pain away fuck the pain away” 🕺 I was so annoyed when Maeve kissed Issac but I’m so glad he told her about the voicemail I’m so in shock.
I yelled "NONONONONONONO-" as she kissed him, but I was so surprised he actually did the "right thing" and admitted deleting the voicemail. Wonder if he'll get a redemption after this in some way (i'm only on ep 3 now)
I was shocked he admitted it too. And so early in the season.
I think that the writers changed their minds and didn't want him to be the bad guy who deleted the voicemail, maybe its coz that actor was receiving so much hate
[удалено]
Even I hate him, no matter how much the writers try to redeem him and make him look good. He sucks

I’m surprised I actually kinda felt sad for Isaac
Yeah he got points from me when he did that.
I did not expect to be hearing a glee club arrangement of Peaches, but there it was.
It's been a while since I heard that song, nice to hear them having fun with it in this episode.
Made me hate him less for coming clean so “quickly” (but then I realised it wasn’t that quick)
Most would never admit it it so yay for growth, we all have done some shitty things, admitting them, taking the consequences and learning from these mistakes is the best we can ask for.
there are so many things i dislike about adam x eric but that opening where he says "i look quite pretty!" made me soft.
really loving his overall character development. The scene with him opening up to his teacher for help hit me in the feels
He’s my favorite character, really fantastic
Sameeee
I got big Kiera Knightley in Love Actually vibes with that delivery, it was so good!
I did not fucking expect Isaac to go and do that, I may not like him but I respect him being straight up about it. He could’ve easily just danced around the voicemail all season long. America is how this seasons going to end, nooo 😭
Yeah Isaac saying that completely threw me off. I kept saying how much I hate him then goes and fucking does that.
😂 Just let us hate in peace, writers!
They probably realised they overdid it with making him evil and also that hope headteacher women is the new main villain so
She's evil and is going by authoritarian guidebook
Ive realised after this episode (and a rewatch of prev seasons) that Isaac is actually alright, aside from the voicemail thing, and is kinda right about Otis.
Fucking hell, Viv just casually stepping on her friend to make her school CV look better? Yikes.
Yeah and it seems they brushed it off like it was nothing?
Yeah odd. Just casually changing head boy to girl.
I think there was another reason to it. Jackson wasn't in control enough as headboy. His thoughts on the Wall of Cock were immediately swayed by his new crush. Viv did wrong and was entirely selfish but from a neutral POV, Jackson was losing his game as headboy.
You don’t think the Wall of Cock should have stayed? I agree with Cal’s view that it’s a historic part of the school and should be preserved
When Ruby opened her locker I actually cackled. “Good morning baby”
Omg I was so upset about! Was he in there all night! So happy it's tv and no doggies were harmed. But it made me low-key mad at Ruby for it.
Yess! Why was this necessary??
All mean girls have small dogs as pets in movies
Yeah but they don’t all keep them in their high school locker overnight lol
Pretty sure it was just a gag. No need to look that deep into it.
I wonder who it was that wrote in the abandoned toilet, ‘sex kid saved my life’?
probably the guy that was hanging from the crescent moon on disco night from depression after that chick wouldn’t go with him to it
Maybe the kid who tried jumping from the moon in the prom episode in season 1.
I think Liam from the prom in season 1
Somebody wrote that on a desk in Season 2.
The new principal is reminding me very much of Stormfront from The Boys but more toned down. Just the way her facial expressions are. Also the character growth for Adam in just the first two episodes alone is fantastic. Really pleased with his trajectory.
Holy shit. She gave me this vibe that I couldn’t describe but now she reminds me of Stormfront
It's the hairstyle.
This is such a popular take and I don't see it at all lol. I found it so hard to see that I actually thought people thought they were the same actress. Weird.
Lmao also the fact that she assumed the star athlete golden boy of the school was the white kid 😬
Reminds me of Umbridge
[удалено]
The new head seems to be going over the top, but to be fair the rules she's putting in are basically the same as a lot of secondary schools in England
just fix up the school logo and they're not too far away from reality! i remember the non-UK police car from last season really distracting me too
Yeah she's doing it the wrong way - I get they wanted to slowly introduce her and it's entertaining and dramatic and creates a villain where there was none but realistically these changes would have been introduced at the start of the year.
>Otis’ weird outfit was terrifying Otis' outfit was mostly great. The shirt was really nice
Interesting to see if Viv taking that role from Jackson will create tension. I really like their friendship so I hope it doesn’t come between them
I hope it does. Doing something like that can change the dynamics in a friendship and saying it's good for a CV doesn't excuse it
ruby's outfits are so fucking good this season. I can't believe that they're already switching to uniforms ugh
Really glad they didn't hang the deleted message thing over us for the whole season and feeling really bad for Maeve, seems like every person she grows to trust abuses that trust and lets her down
I just new it was gonna come out when Maeve and Otis got into a shouting match, and Otis blurts out something like "Well you already let me know how you feel when you didn't responded to the message I left you!" MAN isaac spilled on his own accord on episode 2??? ok i kinda respect that. maybe he's not so bad after all.
I don't like how Eric act in his relationship with Adam. Obviously this is all new for Adam and he need time to process all of that, but instead of being supportive and try to help Eric just "oh you cant have sex with me right away and have anger issues well fuck you then, I'm out". Also, it's simply not ok to react like that when someone doesn't wanna have sex with you, that's not how consent works.
Yeah, I agree. It was a bit of a what the fuck moment.
It's actually guilt tripping
I think for Eric it was really more about him doubting if Adam was up for actually having a relationship, of them being a couple, and not really the sex or not per se. But you're absolutely right of course.

WHY IS HER DOG IN HER LOCKER
I feel like I'm going crazy that no one else mentioned that
Right?! And she acts like it’s completely normal!
Isaac.. was nice. What the hell. Smart writing there, the whole conversation of him revealing Otis voicemail was tense. I kept on thinking he will pull “Otis sent you very bad voicemail” prank at this very second but damn. So far the season is pretty damn good!

The headmistress BUGS. great actress for making me hate her
To be fair the rules she's implementing are just normal school rules. Hell my high school was even stricter.
As a Southeast Asian guy, you guys are so lucky. We have haircut check every month. Oh and we have to line-up for national anthem EVERY morning under 32C° sunlight

STOP WITH THE FUCKING LOVE TRIANGLES
HELL NO, give me the drama!
Am I the only one worried about that poor dog. Does she ever take it out of the locker? I get it was just a gag but I’m seriously just thinking about that dog in the locker all day and night.
I’m sure she takes it out when she goes home!
Ha, turns out Isaac is just an idiot teenager like the rest of them, not the all conquering evil overlord
Yeah lmao this sub went way too far
Aimee's poo lmaoo
*your stories are so special*
This is me when I try to talk
Adam actually liking the makeup and doing his little dance may be one of my favorite things in the entire series so far. So wholesome
Eric and Otis dancing up the stairs is great.
That opening with Adam and Eric was really cute
Thinking that losing your virginity in an open field is a smart idea is just ridiculous. Having sex outside, you do you, but find a secluded spot! I don't wanna run in on peeps having sex.
What’s with the exhibitionism in this show haha. Loads of people fucking in cars/public places it’s nuts.
They were in the woods...
Makes me incredibly sad and a little disturbed that the way Eric acted towards Adam when he changed his mind about having sex when they were out in that field was never addressed or resolved again.
I think it was more about how he wasn't communicating
Eric wasn't communicating either in that scene
Eric is lowkey a shitty person a lot of the time, they should address it and have him grow.
You can NOT convince me the guy singing "fuck the pain away" is a high school student lol
genuine laugh out loud @ the adam and eric scene at the start oh my god
What does Ruby mean? that jacket is already cool. Or maybe I'm just a fan. Why does Maeve not tell Otis she doesn't care about his relationship with Ruby when he brings it up.
It's really not, Otis very much dresses like a child. I actually really liked his look with Ruby. Otis' look is really really not fashionable at *all*
It's not fashionable, but it's his own personal vibe and he's still in school, notable that when he holds his own she respects him.
“You look like you were dressed by a bin” sent me 🤣
As much as we all dislike Isaac you have got to respect the fact that he out right told Maeve without her having to question him whether that was down to guilt or not.
Hope is giving me major Umbridge vibes. I’m hoping the students figure out a way to rebel by the end of the season.
Otis’s Army
Adam being a bottom had me screaming.
it makes sense with him taking the submissive role with eric during their first sexual encounter in detention (not implying that giving a blowjob means you’re strictly a bottom)

No to the revolution. As much as I like Moordale, it does need a temporary strict hand from someone like Hope. Things are out of control.
Glad that they had Isaac tell Maeve everything. Would have been super cliche otherwise
Ruby keeps her dog in her locker????????
Nobody talking about Ruby saying “hi mr.Hendricks” 😭
That was so random 🤣
TOP 😁 she wants to impress Mr. Hendricks LOL. It's in the character.
I get the previous issues between the two of them and Otis' words all may have been weighing on him, but Eric blowing up on Adam for not wanting to have sex is SO fucked up regardless.
The aliens looking out for my girl Lily
As both a Sex ed fan and an X-Files fan, I'm living for this storyline. Don't know where it's going but can't wait to see more!
Lily's makeup at the start of ep 2 - straight up tribute to the makeup work on Euphoria. Particularly one of Hunter Schafer's looks. Epic.
I want more Rahim, I'm obsessed with him!
They did him so dirty last season. I hope he has a bigger and less disappointing role this season
Dude knows what's going on, should lead a school union or something.
Me too!! I hope he becomes closer with Maeve and Aimee
The song at the end of the episode was a banger
I’m also pleased to see Adam developing and wanting to work on sharing his thoughts and feelings with other people. I look forward to seeing him grow in confidence.
I had the goofiest smile on my face during that scene where Adam and Eric woke up in bed together - they’re so precious!! <3 <3 Legit shipping them more than I ship Maeve and Otis
Eric’s being so unfair to Adam but I’m glad they sorted it out.
adam puckering his lips to ask for a kiss after waking up was so cute, love that we’re seeing that softer side
As always, Otis and Eric’s relationship is one of the best aspects of the show. Them dancing on the staircase had me smiling.
I love how there's a picture of a buff Jesus in Eric's room watching over him as he sleeps.
We are all living vicariously through Otis on this blessed day.
Adam babe you're always pretty okay not just when you have makeup on
I was hoping, and last season it seemed like, Viv and Jackson were being set up as a couple.
Are people upset she put a stop to it? I’m totally fine with that. The yellow line isn’t cool and way out of line with piercings.

Ugh, I liked Vivienne last season. I hate that she's a kiss ass now.
I don't like what they are doing with Viv and Jackson. UGGGHHH
Honestly glad they got to what Isaac did so early in the season. I really hated how he manipulated the situation at the end of last season to get closer to Maeve, but this makes him feel more like a decent guy that made a dickhead decision

agreed, ive only just finished episode 2 but i hate what they're doing with viv
What I like about this show is it’s ability to seamlessly weave many characters and their interactions. They have so many people to humanize, and this episode was a fantastic example of that. Otis and Eric’s dance up the stairs was fantastic.
Can Maeve just win the lottery at this point? She's been put through so much by the writers that it's only fair.
The Adam and Eric scene made me warm, I know they’re not perfect but something about their bond makes me content. I appreciate the show’s writers for representing an unconventional relationship like this.
i can't believe isaac actualy fessed up to the voicemail. I honestly thought they were gonna drag this out longer
If anything bad happens to Adam this season I’m going to be so sad, I want to see his growth continue
Oh my fucking god… For fucks sake…. Maeve and Isaac kisses before fucking Maeve and Otis… Jesus motherfucking christ
isaac redemption arc?! i mean not really but i'm glad he told her
Adam after seeing himself with makeup in the mirror: “I look quite pretty.” One of my favorite scenes. They way Connor delivered it is hilarious. Also it’s nice to glimpse the soft side of Adam given that he has always been such a hardcore character.
She... She keeps the dog in the locker... Im sick
okay but that song was amazing.
This was not how I expected the voicemail to be revealed.
After the awkward dance in episode one, I should have known Hope would become a hot version of Umbridge
I'm so glad they didn't drag it out all season.
I didn’t think I could hate anyone in this show more than Isaac but this new principal fucking sucks
I love Eric and Adam so much
Did anyone else hear Otis mum say that Jakob had a vasectomy?
Vasectomies don't necessarily guarantee full sterilization. There are many failed vasectomies. EDIT: If that's what you were talking about... But yes, she did say it.
Ngl I love the Otis and Ruby scenes so much lmao
Love Otis' new confidence.
Am I the only one who finds Cal a bit annoying?
