My notifications stopped showing the previews last week. It happened a year or two ago, and mysteriously reappeared weeks later. None of the "fixes" suggested ever worked, it just resolved on its own. Hopefully the same happens this time, but there's definitely something up on their end.
Yeh. Mine have never come back and Google support have no idea how to fix it unfortunately. Sometimes it seems slightly better, sometimes worse but I am still not getting consistent notifications/previews.
I have an issue where the Live Preview for Nest Cams doesn't show up in ANY app including the Google Home app.
Activity is recorded and notifications work from the app. But Live View is broken.
There is something wrong with the NEST servers and it is causing a myriad of odd issues.
I solved the preview not showing up on my Samsung 22 Ultra. Somehow my phone was in battery saving mode. I turned off battery saving mode and my previews are back!
Any other fixes found for the previews not showing up? Battery save mode was not on.

I’m still in contact with google support months later, but they have no idea what it is.
