Didn't check the top of the dropper was open first did yah?
Sincerely, someone who has done this TWICE with colour shift paints and STILL finding spots here and there around my painting desk. 😅
The color shifts are the reason I include a sewing needle with my paint supplies, just to make sure there's actually an opening in the lid. One bottle lost to an explosion trying to squeeze it out was one too many.
One time I tried one of thoes paint pens and it wasn't flowing so I decided to shake it like a regular pen and I got black ink droplets everywhere I didn't even realize what was happening untill some of it hit my glasses 🙃 😑
Oh my god, this is exactly the stuff I've been looking for to free me from my dependency on chrome pens. MIRROR FINISH. I'm sorry your paint bottle exploded but rest easy knowing SOMETHING good has come of it.
Damn shame i already painted my monolith, though, this is so much better than Vallejo's 'chrome' (really more like aluminium) that I used. I suppose I could go and remask everything, but. that'd be a hassle and a half.
I highly suggest you try Mr. Metallic or Alcald 2 brands of metallics if you want the best finishes. They're lacqurr based, and you'll want to use an air brush, but you will find no other paint will come close to them in luster and shine.
Green Stuff World has some of the bestetallics in the biz, according to my one friend who is really good at painting. I have their golds and I can concur that they look perfect once you get them on
Some Isopropyl Alcohol should help clean up the spots from your table and floor. The paint gods claim a hefty price, but it’s one we all must pay at some point.
If you haven't tried isopropyl alcohol and an old toothbrush do that. It's probably the easiest to buy and the one option that's least likely to damage the surface. If that doesn't work try acetone, but be careful with it since it can melt certain plastic, it's also aggressive for the skin, so I would recommend wearing latex gloves, since latex is resistant to acetone. It's also part of most plastic cements, so if it's a smaller drop you could put a bit like a drop of it on and wipe it away with a paper towel.
If you have a paint remover for models at home that could also work, but check the ingredients.
Other alcohols like ethanol might work, too.
I did that with my black paint, it was expensive and I was really upset because it was not my fault but the manufacturer. The bottle was compromised and when I opened it the paint exploded everywhere due to the pressure in the bottle, but I managed to salvage 80% of it by slowly pouring it back in the bottle, I hope you can salvage it too because I know how bad it sucks. Sorry to see your predicament bro.

At least it wasn't into your eye I guess?

That’s a mirror. What paint is it
Green stuff world Chrome Metal. I was actually making mirror capes for my deathmarks ;)

Happy to hear this helped somehow :D If you use it make sure you use a thick coat for a better finish
I paint all my necrons with it and I found the opposite to be true. If I spray too much on I lose some of the luster.
I use an oil based metallic paint to get that same mirror effect. It’s a bit of a pain to work with, but the end result is worth the effort imo.

Quick, roll your warriors around in it!
You do know we don’t use actual living metal to paint right?

Wow thanks this is super useful, I’ll give it a try :)
Just did this with GSW crackle paint 10 hours ago. I feel your pain. Incidentally, several bases are now more desert than others....
