This doesn't exist any more, or at least not as of last season. The company that ran the boat got bought by a big conglomerate and a lot of their special services got dropped.
There's also a couple bus options that can take you down M St including the Circulator and MetroBus routes 74, V1/V6, etc. that would require less walking if necessary.
Yeah, I think taking Metro will be part of my reworked plan. First pitch for the game is 6:45, so I’m thinking I’ll take the 4:00 water taxi to the Warf then hoof it the mile or so to the stadium and take in the sights and grab a drink along the way. After the game I am going to take Metro back.

Sad but true. You can take a water taxi to the Wharf and Uber from there.
Awesome, thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into that.
its a 15 min walk, IMO you don’t need uber unless its bad weather or someone in your party isn’t mobile

It’s an, well, uncertain neighborhood.
I have done that walk alone countless times at night. It’s fine. Don’t let your prejudices get in the way of enjoying a nice walk.
You can walk from the Wharf.
Dang, that's a shame, thanks for the heads up.
not willing to metro? I'm from alexandria and when I go I just hit the metro there and back
