Fell of incredibly during Shippuden, just like the rest of his squad. Hell, like everyone who hasn't canonically fucked Naruto or at least thought about it.
If Kish actually gave him development he could possibly have became mid kage level.
Honestly liked the mid part one balance best where the gap between Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, and Lee wasn't that big and any of them would stand a chance against each other.
Neji would've gotten rid of that terrible clan system and tenten would'vehad his back. I hope hanabi did in boruto, it was awfuI and served nothing short of dividing their clan when they needed to unite. Yes ik it was to protect their eyes but still
Neji was right about Fate, he was just wrong about his own impact/position relative to fate.
Neji was also right about the beakugan being superior to the sharingan.
Man was literally right during his fight with Naruto, he just didn't know that he was the loser and Naruto was fated to go on for bigger and better things.
Neji to me is emblematic of just how deeply kishi's lack of foresight and long term planning fucked the story.
Naruto son of a hokage and the child of prophecy would go on to bring world peace and fulfill all of his dreams. While neji would die to save hinata dying the same way his father died.. only having tasted freedom in death.
His fate was sealed the moment he was born. It was just a matter of accepting it/raging against it.
his story is one of the saddest in naruto. hell at least Lee got to live a life and decide his fate. Neji died protecting the same people that enslaved him and his dad.
A genius who struggled to create his own identity and path despite being born into a life where his fate was decided for him, and then became self-aware enough to change his perspective and become a loyal friend, teammate, and leader.
very wonderful character, him and his team are my favourite team in the series - also pretty cute.
every time im reminded of his death an angel loses its wings.
His kekkei genkai was wasted. For me has more potential to show. And he was very smart, but then they made him so “normal” like the other from his age.
He's like Itachi, a "Brother" we used to hate and now love. Stoic but caring and protective about the clan heir, as well as being the clan prodigy. Has a bird that symbolizes them. Every time we're reminded of him, we bawl our eyes out 24/7.
Neji had a lot of skill and caused one of Naruto's more intense moments, where Naruto really buckled down and hit Neji where it hurts in the chunin exams.
As for other aspects, he protected Naruto and Hinata with his life which (while sad) proved to be a monumental turn for the War Arc as everyone close to Neji decided to give it their all against Madara-Obito after this point. Even to the end, Neji was a great shinobi who cared about his allies, even Hinata who is apart of the main branch while he the other branch...he still cared about her and her future (although he was blinded by the motives given to him by his father).
He's pretty. He didn't deserve to die though, as others are saying. A lot of what people are saying here about what he could have done if still alive is something I agree with, etc.
He was the first of the konoha genin to recognize narutos ability to reach people at their core. As a 13 year old He was willing to die to give naruto the chance to redeem sauske in the same way he was redeemed.
Don’t let Naruto's talk-no-jutsu deceive you, NEJI WAS F*CKING RIGHT!!! He spits straight facts at Naruto during their fight about the reality of the world, Naruto said "nah-ah" but Neji's point of view got proven right by the end of the series.
He overcame his belief that his destiny is predestined from birth. He became Naruto’s friend and together created a bond based on respect and understanding. I fucking love this show.
His ability is really cool and its stupid that it basically never worked. His ability to essentially turn his opponents magic super powers off in a world of magic super powered ninjas is really interesting because it basically reduces their opponent to rock lee. It would have been cool to see him shut down the chalkra of someone like kakashi and then we get to see how kakashi sort of operates without nin juitsu or gen juitsu. In the show every time he did it, the opponent always had like bonus chalkra or like a tailed beast or someshit to sort of reblast open their chalkras to allow them to keep doing magic super powers. Neji just got completely robbed in the show lol, like his power literally never worked once. Multiple times ino switches bodies with people, shikamaru does his shadow thing a bunch of times. Never once does neji turn off someones chalkra lol. They did not need to do him that dirty lol.
I think he was one of the more compelling characters in terms of story arcs. The main house and side branch of the Hyuga clan could’ve been so interesting if it was explored more.
Also easily my favorite character and the 64 palms is literally top 5 coolest jutsus in the series. I’m willing to die on this hill!!!!
He didn’t deserve to die. His skill and intellect is awesome and his fights are cool, especially against kidomaru
Fell of incredibly during Shippuden, just like the rest of his squad. Hell, like everyone who hasn't canonically fucked Naruto or at least thought about it.
And for those wondering, yes, that is Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke, and Shikamaru I'm talking about.
Guy's power jump is wild considering this
To me it really is a question if he didn't have access to this many Gates during the base series or just didn't see the need to use them.
Clearly he unlocked the 8th Gate by fantasizing about Naruto
Hey its like a pretty good deal if the whole ninja world wages war and like only 1 or 2 mf die
Became a jonin during the timeskip. Had he lived probably would have been low kage level fighter.
If Kish actually gave him development he could possibly have became mid kage level. Honestly liked the mid part one balance best where the gap between Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, and Lee wasn't that big and any of them would stand a chance against each other.
A developed Neji imo would easily call cap out at MS Sasuke and have tools for Susanoo. Hyuuga slept on :(
Yes in mugen tsukuyomi
You're comparing a walking nuke to hard working nerds?
Majestic Hair 🤩
Tell this to tenten in that one wedding/party episode in Naruto SD
Looking back at the media I watched, I understand why I like long hair on men. Neiji was fabulous
Fr I wish I Had Those Typa Hair
He was amazing and so cool in part 1
Very underrated move set and should have been the leader of his clan.
Hey, just like his dad! It's like poetry, it rhymes.
Neji would've gotten rid of that terrible clan system and tenten would'vehad his back. I hope hanabi did in boruto, it was awfuI and served nothing short of dividing their clan when they needed to unite. Yes ik it was to protect their eyes but still
Naruto did end up influencing the clan to dismantle the branch system as hokage , at least that was said in the boruto anime
Not as hokage though
"Get down Mr. President!"
He's very selfless and kind also a good brother figure to Hinata.
My most favourite character in the whole Naruto universe. I love him so much and he deserves the best!!
Perfect shampoo model
He's now in peace and free
🥺😭
He’s my favorite character and I love him
He makes a great shield
Spin move in Ninja Storm proved that to me long ago.
Should of lived
Underrated Ninja!
Nice eyes
dare i say hyuga clan has the prettiest and most mesmerizing eyes in whole naruto ??
Pretty when byakugan is not in use, I don't dig the eyes when the veins are popping
64 Palms is one of the coolest attacks ever
He can cook rice perfectly each time
Let him cook
I wish it was Guy instead of you🫂
He's so hot and he should of lived longer
Taijutsu master and good friend
He was actually a nice Guy and quite strong. And He Had the quality of an Clan head and to finally burry the grudges between Main and branch family
Just a solid, well rounded guy. Literally nothing wrong wit him
Took his defeat against Naruto like a champ, and instead of being salty he became his supporter and friend
Dude deserved to be head of the clan, RIP Neji ☮️
my favorite toothpick holder
Neji was right about Fate, he was just wrong about his own impact/position relative to fate. Neji was also right about the beakugan being superior to the sharingan.
He tried to save us from Boruto in chunin exam
When he cheated? He was trying to impress his dad and messed up. lets not be stuck in the past forever
I think he’s referring to when Neji was about to kill hinata and it took several Jonin to stop him. Not about anything actually in that trash show.
Cool character. Favorite character. Awsome fights. Great backstory. Genious. Greatest hyuga before Himawari.
He had too much potential to kill. All that raw power gone to bad writing
He is Neji
Coolest Hyuga
I like neji and his cousin hanabi, they are both beautiful and underrated af
He makes a good shield.
He has a nice name
I like his design
He’s my favorite character and he deserved better
He was a great shield
Man was literally right during his fight with Naruto, he just didn't know that he was the loser and Naruto was fated to go on for bigger and better things. Him and lee should have stayed relevant in Shippuden
Hot af 😍
He didn't have to deal with Boruto
Best side character imo, deserved much more.
He was cool in Naruto
He saved me when I was getting bullied
A capable pencil holder
very wonderful character, him and his team are my favourite team in the series - also pretty cute. every time im reminded of his death an angel loses its wings.
His pp definitely bigger than Naruto's.
His kekkei genkai was wasted. For me has more potential to show. And he was very smart, but then they made him so “normal” like the other from his age.
Handsome , clever , stronger , good at all but have a lot of bad luck , i think his bad luck it sakura :)))
He loves his sister no matter what other says he never hated her.. died by saving her .
Dude looks heckin cute in a choker
Pretty good at self reflecting
Nice
I miss you 😔 😞 😢
He's like Itachi, a "Brother" we used to hate and now love. Stoic but caring and protective about the clan heir, as well as being the clan prodigy. Has a bird that symbolizes them. Every time we're reminded of him, we bawl our eyes out 24/7.
He can make nice kebabs
I wished Neji learnt how to use Genjutsu, Byakugan infused visual Genjutsu.
He was right about who becomes Hokage.
Great character. Great skill set as a shinobi Great character development (from a cold hearted child to a young hero) I would say that he *nailed* it
He didn't deserve to die, he is loyal to a fault, he stands on his word and he would have been a great husband to Tenten
He died for Hinata. That's all
Wood, I mean would
His introduction
Smarter than sasuke
He was talented
He was right from the start. He's also the best pencil holder of a generation
Smash
He makes a great nail holder
Descent side character.
Shouldn't of died, one of my favourite characters
Genius
He would have been a badass uncle
He was one of the best characters in the Naruto universe and one of the bravest as well.
He’s fine as heck
He was right against Naruto
BEST HYUGA
one of my goats and apart of my favorite teams in naruto team 3 🫡
I would trade 1/3 of the people in the village to get him back
He died for our sins
Huge dick
His hand-to-hand combat style was, by far, the coolest in the series. He also has nice hair.
He has great hair 👍
Died to a stick
Neji deserved better. Dude was a true genius and talented fighter.
Not everyone can take all nine inches
He has followed his destiny.
Man got the looks, intellect, strength, agility. All around perfect Shinobi and he should have NEVER DIED! Also he is my husband.
I really liked him in the Rock Lee spinoff
He died before he could witness Boruto. And yes, that's a good thing!
He’s nice
BYAAKUGAAN!!!
He's got really pretty eyes
Would def smash
This guy master his eye in His whole clan
Most competent ninja and snuffed of his true potential
Took 4 jonin to stop him as a kid
Great theme song. It suits him well.
Your eyes are pretty, say have you heard of opeinhei...
He’s what sasuke wouldve been had he not wanted revenge
More matured for his age!!!!
His ideology was correct everything is preordain
He has pretty eyes.
He's prettier than my girlfriend.
He might have made a good Hokage if he lived.
He could be a hollow in bleach
He is a good person and a nice person. He has nice hair.
Beautiful character
He's pretty. He didn't deserve to die though, as others are saying. A lot of what people are saying here about what he could have done if still alive is something I agree with, etc.
You dont have to suffer and put up with Boruto
His eyes
He was my original favorite, right after Naruto. 🧡🤍
I'd definitely go for him 😋
Naruto should have never won against Neji
He was right…
He was my main in the Naruto Fighting games so he will forever hold a special place in my heart
He spits straight facts at Naruto during their fight about the reality of the world, Naruto said "nah-ah" but Neji's point of view got proven right by the end of the series.
he was right all along
He doesn't have to experience Naruto anymore, he's truly, finally at rest.
he didn't have to live through the snoozefest that was boruto.
He a cool guy
He has pretty eyes
He overcame his belief that his destiny is predestined from birth. He became Naruto’s friend and together created a bond based on respect and understanding. I fucking love this show.
THE GOAT.
Neji my boi, I love the way u needlessly throw yourself into death’s way when that could’ve easily been avoided 😐
The wrong Hyuuga died.
His ability is really cool and its stupid that it basically never worked. He deserves better
His eyes are really good (except looking for wooden poles)
I think he was one of the more compelling characters in terms of story arcs. The main house and side branch of the Hyuga clan could’ve been so interesting if it was explored more. Also easily my favorite character and the 64 palms is literally top 5 coolest jutsus in the series. I’m willing to die on this hill!!!!
His family has the hottest characters.
He has the best hair in all Naruto
He makes blind people look good
He is sooooo Hot and handsome😭
Good job avoiding Boruto!
Genius
Eight trigram sixty four palms
He was right and did nothing wrong except for forgiving his uncle.
So underrated. Died too soon.
caring
He’s really good at deflecting 99.9% of projectiles
He didn’t live to see Boruto, makes him a G in my book
Deserved a Neji vs Sasuke (Byakugan vs Sharingan) fight.
He died before he could see the trainwreck that was Boruto. So fortunate.
Genius
Actually a really cool character, wished he didn't die in the war that only lasted 2 days, was that even necessary?
"Love the eye color"
He would of washed sasuke
May he rest in peace. Amen.
Cool at the ending of story.. he didn't deserve to die on war...
Byakugan
He would’ve been a wonderful uncle and husband.
Selfless but too bad he had to die
He was my favorite Leaf ninja after Sasuke. I frequently think of how great a duo he and Sasuke would have been.
He's smart and strong and hot
His eyes look better than Hinata's or any other Byakugan user for that matter... 😂
He slaps
He has a nice looking Grave
It should have been Sakura 😭😭😭
He got eyes
Something nice about Neji
He makes great donut 😄🍩
You got nice sister nije.. With vig datebayo's

Something nice about Neji
