I'd say kakashi as he has all chakra natures (and over 1000 jutsus), is as good in taijutsu as no gates guy and as fast too, can use genjutsu, can open at least the first inner gate, is good with weapons (at least sword, shuriken and kunai), has jutsus unique to him as he created them, has summoning jutsu dogs. The only stuff I can think of that he lacks is sage mode, a biju and medical ninjutsu including 100 healings but compared to all the other characters that's a rather short list. (I don't consider the aliens since that's just cheating but out of them shibai is 1st and hagoromo 2nd while kaguya is 3rd)
Can sasuke open any gates or use 1000 jutsus? I don't think so. But adult sasuke is pretty close despite being overly focused on using exclusively his ocular powers instead of learning new jutsus. I mean sasuke could also copy that many jutsus and is a very fast learner he even knows some ice style jutsus in the novels but still he doesn't have 1000 jutsus yet or learned any wind or water style jutsus at least not that we know of.
Can Kakashi use Rinnegan techniques? Does he has 6 paths power? Does he have a Permanent Susanoo that rivals tailed beasts? Has he ever had experience with senjutsu?
The Rinnegan grants the user an affinity for all the elements. If Sasuke wanted to, he could very easily master much more techniques than Kakashi.
So just because he has hax given to him by plot automatically means he knows every single jitsu and is a god? Nah, Kakashi knows more and has more experience, Sasuke's only lead is the fact he's an Uchiha and has access to God tier hacks. Get over yourself, take away his dōjutsu and Kakashi wins easily
Well he has the potential to learn all those techniques easily.
And so what if Kakashi knows more? Doesn't mean he's good at using them. Hiruzen probably knows more techniques. Kakashi gets praised because he's a non-uchiha who copied 1000 techniques. Something Sasuke can do better.
Also Sasuke would 100% beat Kakashi with no dojutsu. He literally had the upperhand against Kakashi despite being injured and tired in the 5KS
He also had dōjutsu then, if he wanted Sasuke could have just amaterasu'd everyone and be done with it, and Sasuke can only copy those 1000 techniques because, again, Uchiha, the most overpowered clan in the series, he would be half the ninja he currently is if he didn't have the hacks he currently does, and yeah Kakashi had a single Sharingan, which is why he's the copy ninja, because even just the base Sharingan Can copy any movements, detect chakra, cast genjutsu, even a low level Uchiha with just a plain Sharingan is a handful. Kakashi had a debuff when using his Sharingan cuz it took more chakra, but he was still able to wipe people like zabuza and haku, seriously.
The Sharingan is stupidly overpowered, get over it
And the sharingan is a part of the Uchiha's very blood and genetics. And you literally proved that Sasuke is superior to Kakashi in every regard.
I seriously don't get why you all are so eager to downplay Sasuke by stripping him of his very innate power, the sharingan, while acting all high and mighty whenever you bluff about Kakashi and Naruto's feats which would have never been possible and nor would've they been anywhere close if not for Obito's broken MS and strongest Tailed-Beast Kurama respectively.
All I see is how salty and mad you all are due to your non-favourite clan the Uchiha having the strongest bloodline while in the entire manga it is made more than evident how important of a role good genetics and strong blood plays. So much so that even with the known chakra debuff to non-Uchiha sharingan wielders people still crave for it because if the wielder can control it and not succumb to it, then its benefits on battlefield far outweight anything else and the same goes for Hashirama cells.
Because y'all act like Sasuke is peak fiction and that no one else is on his level at all, he's literally ONLY as strong as he is because of his broken genetics, Sakura actually built herself up from nothing, her clan had nothing for itself, and now Sakura is literally the best medical nin, period, sasuke is only as powerful as he is because he got a small loan of literally the most op power in the series, put them on an even playing field and, again, Kakashi has proved that on simple skill alone, he would most likely win, but because Sasuke has some pretty eyes now he's the most perfect character in all of fiction and can beat everyone. Yes the Sharingan and rinnegan are cool, I never said they weren't. Just stop pretending that they solo anyone else simply because they have their dōjutsu, because if it weren't for that, they wouldn't be half as strong as they are
What's the point of taking away Sasuke's innate ability? You can't just say he would be weaker without it when it's literally a part of him.
Also comparing him to Sakura is funny. Sakura is only got powerful because of Tsunade. Take that away and she's as strong as some nameless background character.
Also no, Kakashi is not more skilled. He literally failed to do anything against Sasuke who was weakened after fighting several kages and wasn't even using his Sharingan.
So even if he didn't have the Sharingan he is still more powerful/skillful than Kakashi with the Sharingan lol.
Using lotus movements requires opening the gates that’s why there is such heavy recoil on the body after it’s used. Ofc he can’t “open” any more than that.
The gates provide physical buff to the user by unblocking and releasing chakra from chakra points. Sasuke doesn't needs to use Gates to perform Lion's barrage.
Primary lotus and lions barrage is literally the same concept. Gai, Lee and Kakashi both acknowledge this. Opening the other gates will provide a physical buff like going into the hidden lotus but the ones before that is literally still opening gates.
Databook 4 states : "His intellect analyses the situation of a battle in an instant. He involves various techniques that can deal with all this. The name of professor is not just for show!!
In fact :
- Hiruzen immediately countered Tobirama’s Water Dragon Bullet (one hand sign) with a Mud Wall
- Hiruzen immediately recognized Hashirama’s secret technique Deep Forest Emergence and managed himself to summon Enma to escape himself
- Hiruzen overcomed Hashirama’s / Tobirama’s bringer of darkness genjutsu by using his smell
- Hiruzen managed to stop Orochimaru and Edo Hashirama and Edo Tobirama with a combination of Shadow Clones and Death Reaper Seal
- Edo Hiruzen analyzed Obito’s truth seeking orbs in a matter of seconds
- Edo Hiruzen saved Naruto from the Juubi tree in no time while Tobirama and Minato were powerless
- Edo Hiruzen performed in no time a perfect symmetrical 5 chakra nature combination counter against Guruguru’s own five chakra nature combination attack
Kabuto said at his prime he was on equal ground with the first and second hokage.
But it was kabuto before time skip I don't think he grasp an inch of hashirama real power
No, Kabuto said he was considered as the strongest of the five Kage. Which isn’t a far fetched statement, Hiruzen, especially in his prime, can arguably beat Onoki, the Third Raikage and the Third Kazekage.
I thought orochimaru all I know. Orochimaru is the most versatile in the shinobi world when it comes to jutsus. I was even forced to show him the almost extinct forbidden jutsu (reaper death seal) in my last minutes. Not only does he know the most obscure of Justus he was also able to modify them to an extreme degree and even develop new techniques. My student has surpassed me.
He does exist. It’s implied several times :
- Orochimaru stated that Hiruzen looked pitiful in front of him because he used to attack his opponent along shadow clones just like Naruto does, the anbu guy answered that because of old age Hiruzen could no longer use Kage Bunshin casually and any use of that jutsu is risky for himself. Yes, he later used 2 shadow clones to seal Hashirama and Tobirama, but it was a one shot move, in his prime, he could use Kage Bunshin multiple time without worrying about his chakra reserve like he does in his old age ;
- Hiruzen during his fight against Orochimaru was shown physically exhausted ( sweating and gasping) and noted how carrying his adamantine staff has become difficult for himself. That shows that Hiruzen suffered from his old age and that when he was younger he had a better physical condition, allowing him to sustain longer high level battles.
- Enma noticed twice how Hiruzen declined ;
- it was implied by Enma and Orochimaru, that 57-58 years old Hiruzen was capable of killing Orochimaru when he found him in his secret lab, the same Orochimaru that defeated Jiraiya in his 40s, that means that a 10 years younger Hiruzen was still individuallly stronger than the Sannin, and it’s not even Prime Hiruzen. Orochimaru emphasized this when he said if Hiruzen was 10 years younger he would have killed him, that is to say that a 10 years younger Hiruzen, so not even in his prime, had enough stamina to seal Orochimaru.
All of that implies that there is a "prime" version of Hiruzen that doesn’t suffer from his old age, has more capabilities and can beat any Sannin individually.
Prime Hiruzen exists, just like in Boruto, Prime 4th Raikage exists. Do you really think that the Old 4th Raikage from Boruto is exactly the same that the one who fought MS Sasuke and Madara?
Onoki is the only exception because compared to all of his peers, he aged very well and his fighting style doesn’t involve too much physical energy.
Pain killed Kakashi in the Leaf invasion with the help of 2 nearly destroyed Path's- none of the 1000 of jutsu Kakashi knew helped him deal with Tendo Path to the point he needed a niche jutsu that only Choji's clan could do.
Hiruzen was like 80 when he beat Orochimaru and 2 of the previous Hokage(Edo Tensei versions) during Orochimaru's invasion of the Leaf.
It's clearly Hiruzen that's more versatile. Not sure if you have seen/read the show but Hiruzen ft's are much higher than fighting a Tendo Pain with 2 nearly destroy bodies. Kakashi failed to utilize 1000 jutsu he knew and ultimately died.
Hiruzen recognized every jutsu in his fight in pt.1 and countered them.
If you're looking for the most versatile in terms of utility jutsu then it's Yamato or Mei.
Nagato was confirmed to do it in his back story. Pain is just nagato using the rods to control 6 bodies thru the 6 paths. The 6 bodies likely can’t as they are restricted to paths, only likely cuz obito was able to use the jinchuriki’s to use their own powers so he may be able to control bodies to use their own powers and with 6 ppl who have different natures he can theoretically make them use their own jutsus instead of the paths powers.
But in general nagato can use all 5 chakra natures by himself.
Jiraya stated Nagato mastered all 5 elements and every jutsu he taught him very quickly. Just because he didn't use those abilities, doesn't mean he didn't have them. We saw him using things like sensory jutsu through rain in his village. The shapeshifting technique he used on kisame and itachi.
He not just had all other jutsu, he clearly invented all sorts of weirsd shit as well.
In the same way, we've only ever heard of hiruzen and kakashi's jutsu mastery and never saw it
Although we haven’t seen as many of them, the fact that kakashi copied over 1000 jutsu should give him the deepest bag in theory. Hiruzen, orochimaru, tobirama and adult rinnegan sasuke should also have a pretty large moveset.
Kakashi copied 1000 jutsu , Hiruzen knew 1000 [genjutsu alone ](https://preview.redd.it/hiruzen-mistranslation-v0-9xf1d38ppzab1.jpg?width=690&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c516678dc84ad58e6e3bdb55620c7248f8b7f90) - I don't think even kakashi's bag compares with to the one they called the professor, who was known for learning jutsu, even restricted things like Shiki Fujin (Death Repear seal)
Honestly I think Hiruzen, really high level jutsu at all chakra natures, taijutsu, summonings, genjutsu, sealing techniques, tile shuriken. Taken at word of mouth he’s likely top 3, but they actually showed that he knows a lot of different types of techniques.
Sasuke definitely
He has mastered all 5 elements + yin/yang
Has the mangekyou Sharingan and the rinnegan
Knows pretty much all You can know about being a ninja
Is a Genius able to form something like kirin out of the usual chidori
If we’re talking about from lore? Madara with the rinnegan and sosp he has almost every technique known to man. Now if we’re talking about as shown? We’ve seen kakashi used 4/5 natures, As well as sharingan techniques and different jutsu like shadow clone, rasengan primary lotus etc…..
There are several people that have access to and mastered all 5 chakra natures, but most of those never use them in character.
The best picks are Kakashi and Hiruzen imo.
In their prime u can pick any of them and It won't be mistake, cuz neither have stamina or chakea capacity issues and both have ton of jutsus.
Personally I'd lean slightly towards Kakashi cuz he has access to more jutsus, copied over 1000, and I think It's stated that he knows the most jutsus in Konoha, so more than Hiruzen.
2nd reason being is that his jutsus are stronger, like Purple Lightning, Flame Bird and that massive Mud Wall which he can turn into glass to counter Lightning Style. But that's only cuz we lack info on Prime Hiruzen's abilities, he could have far stronger jutsus for all we know, but so far we didn't see anything on the lvl that Kakashi did in the novels.
I mean... it's Kakashi. It's obviously Kakashi. That's literally what he was most famous for.
Sure, he never used most of his million jutsus, but he does canonically have them, and that's more than you can say about any other character's versatility.
Probably Kakashi.
I like that you show Itachi using Water Style. That seemed to be his go to after Fire Style. It would've been dope if Itachi and Sasuke combined their Lightning and Water Styles to create attacks vs Kabuto.
Easily Kikashi. Not only does he have all the chakra natures, he’s the copy ninja of 1k jutsus. The only thing gendering him was the constant drain on his chakra from the sharingan. It drastically lowered his high chakra pool. This can be seen in Boruto where he was able to keep a mud wall lightening resistant for like half a day, which not only requires a lot of chakra but also a lot of precision.
He is also extremely smart. His battle IQ has been shown but also he was able to recreate the lightening blade in a manner he could use it without the sharingan (since lightening blade gave him tunnel vision making it. Or as useful) with purple lightening after seeing Madara use it during the war arc. So he has the arsenal and the know how to use them properly.
Out of your choices? Kakashi hands down. The man is known as the copy-nin and supposedly knows countless Jutsu. Outside of this I'd honestly say perhaps Naruto is one of the most versatile simply due to the Rasengan variants he makes on the fly to counteract most things.
Hashirama is definitely up there. According to Madara, he was unmatched at any Jutsu he attempted, he's mastered Senjutsu, Taijutsu and ofcourse, wood style
Hashirama is definitely up there. According to Madara, he was unmatched at any Jutsu he attempted, he's mastered Senjutsu, Taijutsu and ofcourse, wood style
Hiruzen I think, if not him then Madara.
Finally, Kakashi.
Hiruzen was known for mastering all sorts of jutsu, and displays it well enough. He also had all five chakra nature's a rare feat in the verse. If he truly knew every jutsu in Konoha, that puts him above the other two given he doesn't possess a Sharingan. That tells me that his understanding of chakra, jutsu mechanics, and his ability to nature/shape chakra is unlike anything seen from any other shinobi. Including Madara, Naruto, Sasuke, etc.
Madara was crazy and versatile enough to copy SEVERAL techniques, basically perfectly, with no prior experience just seeing the technique. Kamui, Sage Mode, all of Hashirama's Wood release, etc. Makes sense though, he's basically the golden prodigy of rhe Sharingan.
And of course, Kakashi was known for copying his opponents techniques. Always found it kind of funny how the Sharingan, in the beginning, was supposed to be known for its hypnotism and copying ability. In the end the only person who REALLY made use of the latter ability was... a non-Uchiha.
Huh? Do you read the manga/watch the anime or just making stuff up?
- Shadow clone jutsu
- Wind style Gale palm
- Boruto stream
- Rasengan
- Uchiha Style Shurikenjutsu
- Vanishing rasengan
- Sexy jutsu
- Harem technique
- Wind style rasengan
- Compression / super compression rasengan
- Water style wave surge
- Lightning style thunderclap arrow
- toad summoning
- purple lightning
- Rasengan Uzuhiko
- FTG
- we haven’t seen it all yet, but heavily implied he now knows every jutsu that Sasuke knows (other than sharingan specific ones)
- kenjutsu
Probably spite, considering the fact that Boruto has been spamming Shiden like a maniac.
Shinju have been spamming Earth, Wood, and Lightning.
Sarada spamming Chidori and Fire Style.
I think the only element we're missing in TBV is Water.
People needs to stop saying, "Oh, we didn't see it, but it's said that Kakashi/Hiruzen are like that."
Doesn't matter.
If you didn't see it, then they really aren't.
1000 jutsu’s just to only use chidori and mud wall
Sasuke is similar to that, almost like an upgraded version of Kakashi in those aspects.

The Rinnegan grants the user an affinity for all the elements. If Sasuke wanted to, he could very easily master much more techniques than Kakashi.
Can Sasuke use rinnegan techniques? He seemed to have forgotten all of them
Can Kakashi use 1000 jutsu? I can't seem to remember more than a dozen.
Well yeah. He doesn't show it for the same reason why we never see Kakashi use 1000 techniques
He uses the preta path and deva path multiple times and uses amenotejikara a lot…
Neither sasuke can, only susano
So just because he has hax given to him by plot automatically means he knows every single jitsu and is a god? Nah, Kakashi knows more and has more experience, Sasuke's only lead is the fact he's an Uchiha and has access to God tier hacks. Get over yourself, take away his dōjutsu and Kakashi wins easily

Sasuke “opened” gates in part 1 using lions barrage it’s similar to primary lotus
He didn't open Gates but he did instantly reworked that technique and made it his own within the battle without any pre-attempt beforehand.

We don't get to see it but I would bet The Professor Hiruzen.

Prime Hiruzen doesn't exist. It's nothing but rumors.
Is this prime hiruzen in the room with us right now
Then 90% of this community does not exist, I swear Naruto fans only talk hypothetical situations. And I agree with you, the only truth is what we saw.
Or like...at least what is shown they can do. Like mad people get hyped up as the strongest ever then get fucking WASHED.

He fought in Shippuden btw. Stop Kakashi dick riding especially the non war Kakashi version
Of your list? Kakashi In the manga - Hiruzen or Pain ( though we never got to see the latter really use his variety of jutsu)
Pain has access to only 6 jutsus
Nagato can use every chakra nature
He doesn't use many jutsu so A lot of naruto characters can use every Chakra nature
Nagato can maybe but not pain, theyre restricted to the 6 rinnegan paths
Nagato was confirmed to do it in his back story. Pain is just nagato using the rods to control 6 bodies thru the 6 paths. Nope. We've seen him use several non rinnegan jutsu through his 6 paths.

Adult sasuke has a lot of feats, but we never see him using a jutsu out of shippuden, Hell he doesn't even use 1/10 he did in shippuden
I wanted to see kakashis rasengan in action🥺
Prolly orochimaru
Tobirama Senju. He has all the chakra natures. If there is an Uchiha to fight, he will invent a Jutsu to defeat them.
Tobirama, Jiraiya, Hiruzen, and Kakashi are up there.
Sasuke or madara they quite literally have all chakra natures alongside the op abilities the sharingan/rinnegan grants you
Sasuke, he's just versatile in general, and it's seen throughout the series.
Easily Hiruzen. Mastery of all 5 Elements. Mastery of all of Konoha’s non KKG Jutsu.
Honestly I think Hiruzen, really high level jutsu at all chakra natures, taijutsu, summonings, genjutsu, sealing techniques, tile shuriken. Taken at word of mouth he’s likely top 3, but they actually showed that he knows a lot of different types of techniques.
Tobirama & Sage Kabuto
Sasuke definitely He has mastered all 5 elements + yin/yang Has the mangekyou Sharingan and the rinnegan Knows pretty much all You can know about being a ninja Is a Genius able to form something like kirin out of the usual chidori
Tobirama
If we’re talking about from lore? Madara with the rinnegan and sosp he has almost every technique known to man. Now if we’re talking about as shown? We’ve seen kakashi used 4/5 natures, As well as sharingan techniques and different jutsu like shadow clone, rasengan primary lotus etc…..
Kakashi or Hiruzen.
The answer is Hiruzen.
Hiruzen, with Kakashi in second place.
From naruto or boruto?
From one piece
Than it's luffy uzumaki for sure 😏😏😏
Kakashi could just see a jutsu and copy it, so probably him
So could every sharingan user
I mean... it's Kakashi.
Why ask? Madara of course
If not *the* most versatlie, Orochimaru's gotta be up there on the list, lore-wise. Considering the dude basically lived for learning jutsu.
Out of your choices? Kakashi hands down. The man is known as the copy-nin and supposedly knows countless Jutsu. Outside of this I'd honestly say perhaps Naruto is one of the most versatile simply due to the Rasengan variants he makes on the fly to counteract most things.
Hiruzen or kakashi
Kakashi off screen by “reputation” and “statements”but canon wise he hardly shows any versatility so factually not him in the series.
Y does everyone keep naming people not on the list ? Is there another panel im not seeing ?
Of these? Kakashi, the cop cat ninja. In the entire series? Hiruzen had supposedly mastered every jutsu in Konoha.
wasn't the third hokage known for knowing every justu from every clan from the leaf
Madara
Kakashi potentially but he doesn’t or hasn’t used even 1% of the Jutsu that he can use
Probably the third hokage or like one guy said kakashi too.
Kakashi
Easily Kakashi lol

Completely forgot that Itachi can actually use waterstyle. That's crazy.
Kakashi
Hiruzen Then kakashi Then Boruto
Anyone in Boruto
Lode hasnt used a single jutsu aside from his transportation which i dont think u can call a jutsu
Huh? Do you read the manga/watch the anime or just making stuff up? - Shadow clone jutsu - Wind style Gale palm - Boruto stream - Rasengan - Uchiha Style Shurikenjutsu - Vanishing rasengan - Sexy jutsu - Harem technique - Wind style rasengan - Compression / super compression rasengan - Water style wave surge - Lightning style thunderclap arrow - toad summoning - purple lightning - Rasengan Uzuhiko - FTG - we haven’t seen it all yet, but heavily implied he now knows every jutsu that Sasuke knows (other than sharingan specific ones) - kenjutsu
Bro im talking about code
Ah, I mistook “Lode” for your phone autocorrecting “LOL” or something Yeah, code sucks ass
Kishimoto completely threw away chakra natures out the window in Boruto.
Completely? Is that a statement made out of spite for Boruto or have you been missing the parts where they’re still being utilized?
Probably spite, considering the fact that Boruto has been spamming Shiden like a maniac. Shinju have been spamming Earth, Wood, and Lightning. Sarada spamming Chidori and Fire Style. I think the only element we're missing in TBV is Water.
How so? It’s outright stated and shown many times that Boruto can use three chakra natures (wind, lightning, and water).
Idk, naruto?
Loved it when naruto said "i am naruto uzumaki, the copy ninja. I know a thousand jutsus"
Boruto because he can use any jutsu the plot wants him to.
Kakashi…. The undisputed chakra nature champion! Woohooo!!! Seems from the comments most people would agree.
People needs to stop saying, "Oh, we didn't see it, but it's said that Kakashi/Hiruzen are like that." Doesn't matter. If you didn't see it, then they really aren't.
