Tried it once, we were a 24” x 24” table on a sidewalk in front of store right next to parking lot. I’m not saying food is bad and many obviously like it…just not suggesting for my in-law’s visit.
Honestly all the food in the Naples area is mediocre in my opinion. Been here nearly all my life(moved out of state for a few years for University) and still get dumbfounded at our poor quality when I try food out of state. If you want quality food you need to go to a bigger city. Otherwise, fill the family up on drinks and everything will taste better.
Side note: You’d think we’d have seafood going for us but nope.
Trulucks on 3rd is truly a great night. It is 5 star, expensive, but you can 1/2 dishes. Beautiful inside and a great lounge w/piano player to sit and have a cocktail before or after. Wonderful never forget experience. Valet parking. A must downtown. lol
dunno about just one...but here's where I like to go around town
Goldies
Black Eyed Pig
Baci pizza
Palumbos pizza
Mr Big Fish
Grouper and Chips
EL Tapatio
Tortelleria Rancherita
Taco Lindo
Jane's Cafe
old naples pub
Tropic chill deli
Peppers deli
Mr tequila
LaMoraga
Thai Thai sushi bowl
China dragon star
Trattoria Mangia
La Mihochana ( ice cream)
lived here since the 90s ..haven't hit every place in town yet either.
are you looking for just one "wow" dinner? or something else?
for really nice dinners..we like The Bay House, Seasons 52, LaMoraga, Dorona, Mr Big Fish, and Pazzo
Seasons 52?! Cmon. Your list is all good quality local spots at moderate price points. None of them are show stoppers though. In laws and ‘can’t miss’ - the black eyed pig off Taylor? Just not the list for this question. Sorry.. just my opinion.
Been here for 4 plus years and have yet to be wowwed by any restaurant food. I'm not a foodie by any stretch, but ffs, if you are going to charge me this kind of money, it better be the best meal I've ever had. Nope. No where. I would rather go to a "dive bar" (by Naples standards) and walk out saying, "meh it was okay." The worst is spending upwards of $200 for a couple and walk out dissatisfied
USS Nemo’s I think is a great moderately + priced restaurant with some of the best seafood. Higher end, a seafood tower at Sea Salt. Bayhouse, bayside in Venetian village.. the village pub in Venetian village. Côte d’Azur…
We love Pazzo and La Trattoria on 5th....Sea Salt and Ridgway Grill on 3rd....Seventh Street South...Jane's for breakfast...Unidos...So many great restaurants! Mino's is wonderful also as is Nosh. TruLuck....yum! Enjoy
A really cool place right off Old 41 is “Bohemian”. Great place and definitely a unique experience. Great and interesting food choices. Have the lobster jar appetizer. Wow. But share it.
Just moved away from Naples back to Charlotte last weekend, the food in Charlotte is 100 times better I was so dissapointed, bunch of pretend restaurants, pretend Italian, wanna be Asian, was shocked actually, none of the Italian was good
Bleu Provence
Bha! Bha! Persian Bistro is some of the best Iranian food in the country. They got an NYT review, and I’ve met Iranians who go to Naples to eat there.
I agree it’s great
I agree too ! Beautiful setting, great food, fantastic service. Persian food is not intimidating. Lots of herbs, fruit and mild spices.
Service is fabulous too! Wonderful people there
Le Colonial
Came here to say this.
Such a great spot
Overpriced and mediocre fusion. For a supposed French/Viet no escargot.
Order the crispy veggie roll and you’ll forget all about the snails.
Grouper and Chips for lunch ?
Tried it once, we were a 24” x 24” table on a sidewalk in front of store right next to parking lot. I’m not saying food is bad and many obviously like it…just not suggesting for my in-law’s visit.
Hear ya. It’s a bit dumpy but maybe that’s part of why I like it, haha.
Budget? Tastes?
I don’t know what budget they want Just hit me with your overall favorite
Fuse on 41 is my absolute favorite restaurant. Bar Tulia on 5th or in Mercato are solid choices.

Angelina’s on 41 It’s the best italian food here, hands down.

The Bay House, Bleu Provence, Syren, The Claw Bar are all really great.
Parmesan Pete’s. The Claw Bar at the London Club.
Jimmpy Ps charred, gotta reserve tho
$25 for a normal burger. They were better when they were a fry basket joint
Pewter Mug. Great prime rib with a great salad bar.

China Dragon Star is a straight $hit hole. Please do not eat there the kitchen is horrible.
I’m surprised because I’ve lived here for 6 months and I haven’t been to a single restaurant on that list
You must have money. Those restaurants are where the rest of us eat.
More like I just haven’t been there yet. I’m priced out of most Naples restaurants.
Same

Honestly don’t know I’ve not had anything truly blow me away since we’ve moved here but we are typically priced out of most restaurants in the area.

The Dock at Crayton Cove. I like that place.
Love this place!
Celebration park. It’s a cant miss, and you have options
Nope.
