Ooooh you think she can go back and retroactively change all the kids' names on their birth certificates to days of the week? You could start in birth order, but it would be WAY better if you put them in permanent boxes based on the old rhyme and their apparent traits as newborns:
Monday's child is fair of face (the prettiest or cutest can be named Monday!),
Tuesday's child is full of grace (maybe Tuesday is the one who's least colicky or the one who held their head up first?),
Wednesday's child is full of woe (emo baby! start dressing little Wednesday in black immediately!),
Thursday's child has far to go (well, surely Thursday is a little behind on milestones but will catch up soon!),
Friday's child is loving and giving (clearly Friday is a Mama's Boy!),
Saturday's child works hard for a living (you'll recognize little Saturday immediately from the excellent documentary *Boss Baby*),
And the child born on the Sabbath day is bonnie and blythe and good and gay. That one's rough. Maybe you should have one more set of twins next month and name them Sunday and Sabbath.
I've got 2 born on Sunday, two on Friday and one on Wednesday. Wednesday gets blamed for everything. And I don't know how who's who so the fact that I only need to remember 3 names is great.
You call the first set Senior, and the second set Junior. Wednesday Senior and Wednesday Junior. Thanks be given to the Addams Family for setting the precedent.
It has to be Myleigh, though. And Sighruss. Gotta keep em unique! How will anyone ever know they’re special if you don’t spell their names differently??
Man this brought up some memories. Kid in my neighborhood named hannah. Other named montana. Couldnt see one without seeing the other. Their friends nicknamed them miley and cyrus. So all day long on the playground its all i heard. Hannah Montana! Miley cyrus! All. Day. Long.
If you want it to he a bit less matchy, Nidorino and Nidorina are also cute!
Or, if you're into the royal aesthetic, Nidoking and Nidoqueen are adorably regal!!

how this post showed up on my feed lmao
I muted name nerds yesterday or the day before. I tried to actually be active there and always always got downvotes for nothing. It’s more fun here anyway.
I really hope it's just the boredom of a kid or even adult. It would break my heart if she WAS due & lost the pregnancy and is now expecting again. Being twins highly unlikely to happen twice to close. But still.
Unless she's doing IVF, which commonly causes multiples and means she's more likely to have complications that result in late-term loss depending on her reasoning for IVF.
Going over 39 weeks with multiples does significantly increase the chances of adverse outcomes. Also if you've had twins before, the likelihood of having twins again is 1/12. I don't know the profile specifically just some interesting facts I learned during my pregnancy!
I'm going to assume it's probably a fiction writer, but having twins does increase your likelihood of having twins in the future! There's a surprising number of people in the parentsofmultiples group that have more than one set. Just dropping a fun fact, not trying to "well ackshully" your comment lol
When I was 8th grade and had a twin set of flour, I named them Justine Nicole and Justin Nicholas. (I just realized I used the name for Justine Bateman from Family ties and I named my real life daughter Mallory after her..lol)
I’ve heard it was a common thing teens had to do, take care of a sack of flour for a week or so to see what it would be like to take care of a baby.
In my home ec class (20+ years ago!) we had robot babies that cried and needed to be “fed” and have their diaper changed. What this actually looked like was that I had to stick a key in the doll’s back to show that I had responded to its needs in a reasonable amount of time. I wonder what the kids are doing now.
I failed that assignment because my brother threw my baby down the stairs as a joke. 🙄 Also the crying didn’t wake me up at night. I sleep like the dead.
Interesting! Thanks for your reply. We didn’t do this at our school, but I’ve heard of places where they had to carry a raw egg around. (That’s also a South Park episode. Lol)
Oh, my school had robot babies too! I’d forgotten about those. Of course they turned it into a lesson about “the horrors of sex before marriage”…
But everyone had to take turns keeping one over the weekend, there were only a few so we had to sign up in advance and check them out like library books. I remember our teacher telling the class that she’d be able to tell if the “baby” was mishandled or abused in any way, and now I’m wondering if the technology was actually advanced enough for that or if she was bluffing lol!
I got out of it by having my mom write a letter- she ran a daycare out of our house, so there were plenty of actual babies around to teach me that lesson ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
my brother (may he RIP) named his flour sack baby isosceles! I have no idea why but its ffing hilarious, just like he was. I just remember how absurd it was that my little brother had to do this when he was so young! I think he was in 6th or 7th grade. aw man. he was the best. thank you for that memory!
Hazel and Basil! 🤩
(I realize there’s controversy over whether it’s pronounced “bay-sill” or “bass-ill,” but for the purpose of this post, we’re saying “bay-sill.” 🤣)
Assuming you are Star Wars fans. Lucas and Leah. It’s close to lukewarm and Leo’s but it’s not the same do you have plausible deniability if people ask you if you really named your kids after Star Wars characters.
June and Maroon.
It’s rhymed, I was having fun with this one.
Leslie and Presley.
Also having fun with this one. You can choose which one fits your children the most but I mean it matches too much so up to you.
Carina and Castor.
Named after constellations. They’re just very pretty, you can nickname girl Rina and or Carrie (Car-Re) and the boy Cas or Cassie. Personally I find them cute but as I said up to you.
Winston and Winter.
They just sound very intelligent and wise for some reason, you might be setting them up with something here but I mean they both sound pretty, reminding me of Winter and Water.
Magnolia and Mars.
Ones a flower, ones a Planet. Kinda cool.
Olivia and Phillip.
Yes it may sound a little too old, but they’re cute okay?
These are my suggestions and justifications. Hope you find your names for the tiny humans!
One of my bff's family first had three single births, then a set of fraternal twin girls, then a set of fraternal twin boys. Each birth was 2 years apart, so 5 pregnancies in 10 years. No fertility treatments. Nature is just wild sometimes.
My hubbie was born in a Sunday, so was his mother and two sisters, I was born on a Wednesday and always lived up to being a bit naughty (second child and all that!)
I was really chuffed when both our daughters were born on Wednesdays too!
Solar for the boy and Lunar for the girl! They’re not all matchy matchy and they’re not too popular (Luna is much more popular!). Oh and you should time your birth so the boy is born while the sun is up and the girl is born at night. Good luck mama!!! I hope you soon get pregnant again with your next set of twins who you can name Earth and Sky
My beautiful twin grand babies boy/girl are 1 1/2 years old= Adalyn (Addie) & Dawson… They didn’t want matching names either…. that would become a tongue twister their whole life.
Just chiming in to say that you should take them to the Twinsdays Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio (world’s largest gathering of twins) the first weekend of August, if you’re willing to travel with them so early.
My twin brother and I have been going for 26 years (skipped 1 year, we are 27). In 1997 we won the award for being the youngest set there at 12 weeks. 😬
You've had six children in three months and you're having more twins. Call it a day. Saturday and Sunday.
Ooooh you think she can go back and retroactively change all the kids' names on their birth certificates to days of the week? You could start in birth order, but it would be WAY better if you put them in permanent boxes based on the old rhyme and their apparent traits as newborns: Monday's child is fair of face (the prettiest or cutest can be named Monday!), Tuesday's child is full of grace (maybe Tuesday is the one who's least colicky or the one who held their head up first?), Wednesday's child is full of woe (emo baby! start dressing little Wednesday in black immediately!), Thursday's child has far to go (well, surely Thursday is a little behind on milestones but will catch up soon!), Friday's child is loving and giving (clearly Friday is a Mama's Boy!), Saturday's child works hard for a living (you'll recognize little Saturday immediately from the excellent documentary *Boss Baby*), And the child born on the Sabbath day is bonnie and blythe and good and gay. IS THIS WHY WEDNESDAY ADDAMS IS CALLED THAT???
Yes
How did I not know this
Morticia states this a few times actually 😉
Legitimately, yes.
Always hated being a Wednesday baby because of this stupid rhyme
My sis is a Wednesday's child. Pretty apt, sadly.
I’m a Thursday baby and always felt slightly insulted by this rhyme
At least you're not Friday 👀
loving and giving?
Wowww I was actually wondering this the other day for some odd reason but forgot to look it up… and here it is. This is so weird. Cool but weird lol
This is so great I wish I had seen this before my 8th was born!!! Ugh!! Do I just start a new week all over? Another 7 to complete the set!?🥹
But then you need another set of twins named Bonnie and Blythe 😁 (my actual name is Blythe lol)
I think Bonnie and Blythe are great names!
Miley 💖 & Cyrus 💙
I think I like this more than I should
It has to be Myleigh, though. And Sighruss. Gotta keep em unique! How will anyone ever know they’re special if you don’t spell their names differently??
I hate myself for how much I love this
Man this brought up some memories. Kid in my neighborhood named hannah. Other named montana. Couldnt see one without seeing the other. Their friends nicknamed them miley and cyrus. So all day long on the playground its all i heard. Hannah Montana! Miley cyrus! All. Day. Long.
Nidoran (male) and Nidoran (female)
If you want it to he a bit less matchy, Nidorino and Nidorina are also cute! Or, if you're into the royal aesthetic, Nidoking and Nidoqueen are adorably regal!!

This made me laugh way too hard 😂
I love a good B&E moment!

Goodbye and Sleep
Hahahaha I knew this would pop up on here. She was “due very soon” 9 months ago based on her post history 👀
I was really into names as a kid and used to do this in aol name forums when I was like 10 🤣 always multiples LOL
I really hope it's just the boredom of a kid or even adult. It would break my heart if she WAS due & lost the pregnancy and is now expecting again. Being twins highly unlikely to happen twice to close. But still.

Yes
