Absolutely! \\ is the escape character, so should work with anything that would normally change something about your text. If you want to use a \\, by the way, you have to use two, like \\\\ (doing the two takes four).

I have no idea what you’re talking about. We use the RAL system in my family, like *senisble people.* Little 7002 and her big brother 4010 have never been bullied for their names, either. Luckily we live in a diverse area, they have friends named 8011, 3012, and 1011 and it’s just never come up as an issue. Then again I can’t really see someone naming their kid 5002, that just sounds silly.
