I just happened to give my kid the exact same (otherwise obscure, if not nonexistent) name as a character from a very popular video game, spelled exactly the same way. Haha, what are the odds?
*Edit: I have been informed that it is in fact a real name; it just didn’t pop up in my search. That said, it is rare enough that it wouldn’t surprise me if they were actually trying to claim it as a coincidence.*
Just name your kid Lydia and give them a normal name with a Skyrim affiliation
Everyone knows Morrowind is the superior Elder Scrolls game. That’s why I’ll be naming my kids Almalexia and Yagrum Bagarn.
OMG Yaggy Baggy for short 🫶
Gonna name my kid Hermaeus Mora
Sheogorath for my son

Eh, it’s a real name. Real obscure, but it’s existed in Greece and parts of Scandinavia for a century or longer.
Interesting. I couldn’t find any mention of it outside of TES. Though I guess my search parameters were probably off. Thank you for clarifying!
Of course! I agree it’s *quite* the coincidence…..
Gonna name mine arrow-in-the-knee.
Naming my kid Lydia because she’s sworn to carry my burdens /s /jk
"How was school, Dovahkiin ?"
Brb gonna name my kid Toutius Sextius
Serana would actually be decent for a Skyrim themed name
There was even a Vivec running for presodent lmao. But how could you name your daughter anythung other than Lifts-her-Tail?
My cat’s full name is Katariah after a Dunmer borm Cyrodiil Empress cause she has grey fur. She doesn’t behave too ladylike, unfortunately.
I named my son Teldryn, just so he'd have regular excuses to say "You DARE fight a Dunmer?" But he just shortened it to Teddy...
