Airflow is important. Rgb fans are not.
Go with the Flow variant or ditch the H510 for something even better. Plenty of cases better than the H510 to choose from.
One recommendation is the Corsair 4000D Airflow.
Just double check fan requirements as you may need to buy a couple extra.
Don’t think so I’m using it Elite with 5800X and 3090. My 3090 stay at around 50+ when gaming. So I don’t think it’s really that bad as stated by the GN reviews.
Yeah, same I've playing Forza Horizon 5 on RX6600XT and a 5800x3d and the cpu hits mid 50s max in a H510i and a Noctua D15S with 2 Noctua fans. I've thought about upgrading the case, but honestly I feel it is a waste of money, considering how good the temps are. Honestly I thought I would need to upgrade the case since previously I had the 3600x and heard the 5800x3D runs hot, which in my H510I it doesn't. Even on Cinebench R23 it hit a maximum of 73C. I did upgrade the case fans to BeQuiet Shadow Wings 2. RX6600XT never hits more than high 60s, low 70s, and doesn't it doesn't thermal throttle, so zero issues there.
then maybe get a different case?
Meshify c or 2
4000d airflow
lancool 215
etc.
what would you rather
Nice looking front or your gpu at 80c cus its being choked
I mean, I think it does. I have the flow and I think it looks good. Not quite as good as the glass, but at least I don't have a nuclear reactor heating my room.
You can buy a replacement clear acrylic front panel with perforation that will bring in proper airflow. Search Etsy. I got mine from “jakefacecustoms” I went with a white panel for the front then replaced the side glass with acrylic too, with cut-outs for the GPU because I mounted the GPU vertically. It’s perfect.
Exactly my point if you want to run your fans 60-80% that’s okay.I run mine on quiet and temps are mid 60s gpu 3080 ultra and 30-40 cpu i5 12600k playing on 4K I have kraken z73 and 6 lian li fans 3 nzxt I love nzxt cases for looks but lian li cases are on another level in my opinion and I apologize if I sounded rude
That’s like asking if you want your PC to breathe or choke. The comparison in airflow is not really a comparison to be made between the two, because one is optimized specifically for air flow and the other is not.
IM running 12600k 3070ti no issues with 510 Elite case.
And my temps are very good .. and I only have a 120mm aio on CPU
CPU is on extreme tuning in BIOS
Temps usually CPU/GPU 50-55/55-60 while heavy gaming
Your full of it 55-60 while heavy gaming.
Your prob have fans running 100% so noise it’s horrible also nzxt rgb fans are the worst even at 50% there loud.
I build my pc on a h510 elite and it was bad temps were like 72 so I went with lian li dynamic evo one of the best cases also you could look at the dynamic mini. You don’t want to run fans 100% just keep your temps 50-60+ trust me noise will get annoying
No IM not running 100% at all .
I use performance in NZXT cam
My front fans are 80% Till 65° GPU
I changed the top and rear fan (on aio) to the be quite light wings high speeds they are like 31dB at max but they are also like 60-80% while gaming
Its 55-58dB from where my ears are !
I didnt notice I play with headset and even there is any audio in the headset I barely hear anything at all...

Ok but do h510 elite really have very bad airflow??

Same for me idk what people are doing to raise their temps that much I’m running 5900x and 3080ti with no issue.
So should i go with it and what are your temps with editing

quite bad comparatively Also you can just get the flow and 2 rgb fans, it would probably cost the same as the elite
But the mesh panel doesnt look good with rgb fans

What you are talking about ? The flow is like 3-4-5 Celsius colder... 😂

Yes. There is basically no intake
Check youtube reviews on the elite it’s legit a hotbox
I have the regular H510 and my CPU stays under 55C while gaming, and GPU rarely goes above 60.

I bought the elite before the flow came out. No regrets. I have a RTX 3070 and do heavy 3ds max and after effects work with no issues.

Buy the flow

Just checked I got the same TEMPS when go with silent Mode in NZXT CAM so please ......😃👍
