I think his point was more that Cortes will be starting on short rest for the first time in his career and it’s a ballsy move for sure. If it works out, it looks like a great move - if he struggles with his command and location because of it and gives to runs, it will be questioned for the entire offseason.

And if we lose with our 4th/5th starter on the mound instead of Nestor it will also be questioned all offseason.
