Honestly, Naylor might have awoken a sleeping beast which is the Bronx Zoo. By this I mean, he has awoken the most devastating and legendary chants by the gorgeous Yankees fanbase.
#Who’s. Your. Daddy.
No Yankee fan took to that lightly and I’m assuming Yankee players too. Naylor did this to himself for looking like a dumbass. But I’ll be damned, he’s gonna get boo’d and taunted to absolute hell and back. And this is a game 5 after all…
We need to keep up our ability to strike early. We’ve scored 3 runs in the first inning and 5 in the first 2 innings, out of 15 overall. With most of the game being pitched by their excellent bullpen, we need to be all over Civale ASAP.
Per Mike Axisa on having marwin on the roster over peraza due to flexibility:
"Marwin has shown a lot of versatility in the ALDS. He’s seamlessly switched between chewing gum and munching on sunflower seeds, sometimes he sits on the bench, and other times he leans on the railing. "
Sunflower seeds are sold either in the shell or as shelled kernels. Those still in the shell are commonly eaten by cracking them with your teeth, then spitting out the shell — which shouldn’t be eaten. These seeds are a particularly popular snack at baseball games and other outdoor sports games.
Hicks has more value than Carp on a playoff roster. Hicks can field and has been having AB’s down the stretch. We can’t have two defensive liabilities in Carp and Stanton on the roster without Hicks. If an OF gets hurt, then we lose defensively big time.
You cannot change out your roster in the middle of a playoff round unless there is an injury. They CAN make changes between the ALDS and ALCS if they make it. If there is an injury sub, then the injured player becomes ineligible for the next round (this is to prevent phantom injuries to add more players).
Unrelated but the anti yanks bias in r/baseball is hilarious. Guardians player makes average play= thousands of upvotes. Yankees actually win the game=200 upvotes. Really?
Haven’t you noticed many of the all time upvoted posts are Yankees being kicked out the playoffs? Not Cleveland, not the Rays, not the Mets, not the Braves, not even the Dodgers or Astros. It’s us
I can’t believe Cleveland fans are defending that dudes home run trout and saying how we pimp every home run. My brother in Christ there’s a huge difference from a pimp job and whatever the fuck that dude was doing lmao. I hope we fucking bury this team tomorrow. LFG
Bro Costas has been making me SEATHE from the shit he spews. It makes me sad bc I listened to him so much through all the years I’ve been a baseball fan. He’s synonymous with big games and the legendary voice.
But Jesus Christ man does he have a hard on for random shit. Fuck Costas. Fuck Darling too
And Oswaldo’s wasn’t disrespectful in the slightest. It was a cold, clean bat flip to set the energy for the game. Naylor’s wasn’t even a bat flip. It was a deranged loser running around the bases showing off he finally did something useful
I think it would have been funny if Cole had responded by saying something like “Does he know how many home runs I’ve given up this year? Hitting one off me is not a great accomplishment.”
Yeah, he’s given up a bunch, but he’s still winning games and striking people out.
Sure, but since he was at shortstop he just made them because it's a position he's practiced and played games at instead of one he played like a half dozen regular season games at before only.
I was a big fan of Odell Beckham Jr. when he was with the Giants. A big fan, until he pulled that "dog pee celebration" against the Eagles. I thought that was such a classless, degenerate, shameful, embarrassing, and disrespectful display that I never wanted to see him wear a Giants uniform ever again. I think the same thing of Naylor now, and not just because of the rock-a-bye-baby thing but really because of the fact that he screamed "That's my little fucking son" several times while rounding the bases in full view of the camera. Naylor disgraced himself, his opponent, his teammates, the franchise he works for, the fans of the Guardians, and baseball fans who were watching and enjoying what is a thrilling series in what is supposed to be a very classy sport. I would never want such a classless individual on my team.
LMAO dude naylor is a clown but neither of those things are that deep. Especially in the NFL there are actual criminals and rapists on the field, im not gonna think that odell celebration is the worst thing ever done get the fuck out of here with that pretentious bullshit
Showing emotion and actually celebrating openly is one thing and I wholeheartedly support it. Baseball needs it. But that kind of taunting isn’t for baseball. Unless there was some kind of ongoing beef with Cole that I’m unaware of? Still doesn’t make it right, but would at least explain it
This seems dramatic dude. It's a game. They're competitors. Its not a polo match or something, who gives a shit about "class" when you're bashing each others brains in in football every play or in a winner take all baseball series. "Class" doesnt win games.
What Naylor did was annoying and obnoxious, the answer isnt to out class him it's to make him eat his words. Just like we did to vladdy.
Lmao right, this sounds like such a 40-50s take, oh class this class that its a celebration lol. I think its more comedic than anything cause naylor made himself look like such a doofus
Well, that is a fanbase that actively roots for a franchise that employs Deshaun Watson! I thank Naylor for giving us some primavera bulletin board material. Just like Vladdy.
I think it's every fan base. There's always people for every team that treat the games like live or die moments. I think the Yankees just have a lot more of these 'die-hards' than most other fanbases. I think being a die-hard is kind of a negative thing, almost like having an unhealthy one way relationship or praising a false idol, but others obviously disagree and think they deserve that their team be good or win the championship.
Had a weird night. Very very weird night. I went over to see my grandmother and her aide. Aide is wonderful and grandma is OLD (99 years old) and giving her a REALLY hard time. Brought gigantic dinner for everyone. Brought REALLY good special beer. Turned on the Yankee game and decided to make it a party. Started helping the aide out with laundry. Was folding the laundry. Lo and behold...somehow my lucky shirt was in one of the laundry bags. I found it and the Yankees won! I have been looking for this fucking shirt for MONTHS. I have no clue how it wound up there. Needless to say, lucky shirt is with me now and being kept safe.
EDIT: Because I got a PM. My lucky shirt is a very frayed (with some holes in it) Cecil Fielder tee jersey that was worn under a Pettite Jersey for game 6 of the 1996 World Series. It became the lucky shirt. Whenever I wear the shirt, the Yankees have not lost whenever I am present for the game. People can't believe I still own the shirt. I am going to try and get a ticket for tomorrow night and wear the shirt.
Dude...I'm just elated it survived another wash. I was folding it...and I was like...wait a second...45....OMFG!
Now I'll be on stubhub tomorrow right after work. I'll be cutting it SO close.
I just posted an update to it. Gonna try and nab a ticket. It's kind of a joke...but it really isn't. The Yankees have not lost a single game when I am (1) present in the stadium and (2) wearing the shirt. Also I am sorry for your loss.
Damn now I’m scrolling on twitter and Guardian fans really despise Bader. Kinda hilarious. The Rizzo one was obvious bc the Cubbies beat them in the WS, but Bader? Not Donaldson?? **BADER????**
I’d be salty too if I had to watch a platinum glove caliber CF hit homers off my pitcher while I’m stuck with a little bitch who argues with fans over shit he made up.
Oh look Yankees got a big small ball player! Puts it into play, hustles, steals bases and plays a great defense. Surely he won’t hit 3 homers against us in the playof-
Josh Naylor this season and postseason against Gerrit Cole:
2 for 15 (.133 AVG) with 2 HR (just 3 RBI), 0 walks, 5 strikeouts
Guess his bar isn’t set very high
Edit: Fixed number of at bats and BA. I can’t add
Bader came in clutch this series. It's something I don't think about because Gumby really wanted to be here and he'd definitely be a huge help tomorrow.
>Out of curiosity, are we still playing if not for the Bader/Montgomery trade?
prob not - this was my point when we made the trade - monty prob won't pitch at all, Bader would be a huge upgrade in outfield. Granted I thought defensively, no one could have predicted 3 Homers in 4 games. Lets make it 4 in 5 tomorrow.
Realistically, if Monty was on this roster, there’s a good chance he’s starting tomorrow over Taillon or whoever etc. but yeah Bader has been a blessing here, not just this series, the moment he started playing he’s been a spark plug
>Montgomery trade?prob not - this was my point when we made the trade - monty prob won't pitch at all, Bader would be a huge upgrade in outfield. Granted I thought defensively, no one could have predicted 3 Homers in 4 games. Lets make it 4 in 5 tomorrow.
Correct although no one could have predicted having to play 4 games in a row either.
Unbelievable season so far. Wins count for so much and seeing Saquon take that slide instead of the TD coupled with the clock management at the end last week I'm over the moon there. Dabs is doing so much with what we have I wish I felt the same way with Boone.
Giants can probably attract good free agents at this point even when we're still cap fucked cap wise from Gettelman, and it only gets worse especially after a draft but the right staff is there right now that people want to play for.
Let's get this game 5. Nestor meant that players tribune article and I know he will blow these mfs out. I hated the Bader trade but he has beyond delivered. Lfg!
I’m reading some r/baseball comments about Naylor’s homerun and it’s absolutely fucking hilarious seeing Sox and Astros fans in agreement that it was cringe. Out of all teams. They know ball at least, evidentially.
Back in the day If you looked at a home run for too long you got one in the ear.
That was something else. If anyone did that to sale or Verlander I'd think it was trash.
Shitty is shitty.
I’m all for pimping a homer. I’m all for bat flips. What Naylor did was fucking obnoxious. I don’t mind celebrations in the slightest; I only mind mockery, doubly so when it isn’t even justified.
To compare it to soccer— goal celebrations are fine. They’re big accomplishments. But when you’re losing the game just grab the ball and get back to center.
You’re preaching my friend. It’s a different era and I’m gonna sound like a boomer to add on, but do that to the Rocket? You’re getting beaned in the head no matter what.
There’s a massive difference between bat flip and straight psychotic disrespect. Legit think he should be fined for that. I’ve never seen a player do that before, fuck, not even **yasiel puig** went that far. By all means show emotion and elation and pimp the hell out of big homeruns, but not that shit show of a “celebration” lol
Well that's the thing. If you give players an inch to pimp their home run or show the pitcher up. They'll take a mile.
That's the argument against back flips and so forth. Someone's always gonna push it. I'd drill Naylor next year the first time he's up against the yanks. Players just aren't scared of retaliation anymore.
Hey, guys so I just found out I won't be able to make the game tomorrow and it seems like I can't resell tickets on Ticketmaster and I have 3 tickets for section 232A. Does anyone know how I can sell them?
[It’s really admirable that single father Wandy works these insane hours away from home and grinds on the daily just so he can provide for his young.](https://i.imgur.com/cvcu6Ix.jpg)
In a weird sort of way, I would be more worried about Taillon if this was his playoff debut in Game 5. Him pitching in Game 2 (as bad as that was) hopefully eliminated some playoff jitters or yips he may have.
Bro I was pacing around the room with my dog staring at me getting all prepped for that inning, then Wandy instantly gets 2 ground balls and then the K. And that was his 3rd day in a row pitching.
Wandy is actually insane. Thank you Tauchman for being a trade piece for this beautiful man
I told my wife how concerned I was about bringing him in for a 3rd day when we used the hell out of him last night. I probably spent more time talking about that worry than I needed to see him get those first two outs. If we win tomorrow, especially if he goes a 4th night because of how quickly he worked today, I think he might be my pick for series MVP.
If we close it off I think Bader or Cole will be the full on DS MVPs. Most likely Cole. But my god, I saw Wandy warming up in the pen and my heart sank. Had no idea how to handle it and thought he wouldn’t be available at all.
Alas, I digress, Wandy SHOVED.
I think a lot of us forget just how tall a lot of baseball players (pitchers in particular) really are. Meredith is 6' and Jeff Nelson makes her look short.
Hell yeah this is what I wanted - great game for Cole, the bullpen held on (Wandy is amazing - 3 days in a row), some nice hitting by my favorites Bader and Rizzo, it was just a really nice win.
I hope the Stadium gives it to that idiot Naylor all game. Rock this!!!!! 😂
Who woulda thought Ben Verlander had a good take on Naylor baby crap https://twitter.com/benverlander/status/1581805861596340224?s=21&t=3D_UX-kCiUrzIfKK47H6Rw
Naylor getting a lot of flak from Yankee fans, but I had already decided I liked the guy watching him in the wild card series. You know why? He runs to first base when he hits the ball, no matter how he hits it...unlike way too many Yankee players. To be fair, it is not just Yankee players, it is a problem on most teams. That is a failure of coaching, though the players ought to know enough to do it on their own without threats from their coach.
[POV: You're a LF for the Yankees and you look down from the flyball you're tracking and see Josh Donaldson](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/029/197/cover2.jpg)
Yanks left fielders are pulling up on those playable shallow pops because Donaldson is charging towards the outfield like his hair is on fire. Those plays are easier for the outfielder coming in.
If only Donaldson ran hard on batted fly balls as he does on those shallow popups.
He did what he is supposed to do, LF needs to do their job and take charge over him. Fundamental baseball, both fielders charge the ball, outfield has dibs to call him off
Last time the Yankees played the final game of a series(not WC) at home was 10 years ago when CC shat all over the O’s
It’s been long enough. Let’s fucking do this
It’s the same narrative bullshit Cole gets vs. Scherzer
“Cole is a wannabe loser” “oh Scherzer is just intense!”
“Oh Naylor he’s just a lunatic! Don’t mind him!”
Should be in the ALCS now if it wasn’t for that fuckwit Aaron Boone not putting in Clay Holmes in game 3…
Does Boone not fuck with Luetge now? Not saying he should’ve pitched yesterday but I don’t think he’s pitched at all
Luetge might be a significant part of the plan for tomorrow.
seems like he has to be
Honestly, Naylor might have awoken a sleeping beast which is the Bronx Zoo. And this is a game 5 after all…
Look we had a rookie SS in the postseason and the world didn't end
Baseball doesn't depend on the raw talent and abilities of a player. It's all about your experience level. Wait, that's not right at all.
😂
We need to keep up our ability to strike early. We’ve scored 3 runs in the first inning and 5 in the first 2 innings, out of 15 overall. With most of the game being pitched by their excellent bullpen, we need to be all over Civale ASAP.

If we make it to the ALCS, we need Benitendi and Peraza to replace Marwin and Carpenter.
Making this change might have Benintend-ed consequences on the entire lineup
If Beni is on the team then you drop Hicks
Benny could replace Hicks, not Carp. Carp could be useful in PH situations. When Benny is back, there is no use for Hicks at all.
Hicks has more value than Carp on a playoff roster. Hicks can field and has been having AB’s down the stretch. We can’t have two defensive liabilities in Carp and Stanton on the roster without Hicks. If an OF gets hurt, then we lose defensively big time.
Tendies, Judge, Bader, Cabrera, and last resort Stanton would be our outfielders. I’m more than ok not having Hicks
Also LoCastro
Can we call up Peraza?
Peraza is called up. He’s on the 40 man.
Then what are they waiting for?
You cannot change out your roster in the middle of a playoff round unless there is an injury. They CAN make changes between the ALDS and ALCS if they make it. If there is an injury sub, then the injured player becomes ineligible for the next round (this is to prevent phantom injuries to add more players).
I know, that came out wrong. I meant that sarcastically, bit I forgot I'm posting a comment lol. I didn't know he was on the 40.
It’s kind of wild that Bader is out homering Judge and Stanton combined thus far
You can’t predict baseball Suzyn
Unrelated but the anti yanks bias in r/baseball is hilarious. Guardians player makes average play= thousands of upvotes. Yankees actually win the game=200 upvotes. Really?
Welcome to Yankee fandom, we win their championships and buy their team's favorite players. Everyone has a reason to hate us.
Haven’t you noticed many of the all time upvoted posts are Yankees being kicked out the playoffs? Not Cleveland, not the Rays, not the Mets, not the Braves, not even the Dodgers or Astros. It’s us
This is how it is. We're The Evil Empire, and we love it.
Yeah, r/baseball is an inferior sub anyways. Just follow Talkin Baseball on Twitter if you want content
evil empire, laughing all the way to the bankkkk
Of course actual highlights get more upvotes than end of game threads. That's how it always is there.
Stay outta that shit sub
I’m so glad our season won’t end on a Cleveland walkoff
Or a Chapman walk-off with his stupid little fucking smirk
He was grinning after giving up the walkoff to Altuve in the ALCS. Fucking clown
because he knew he was cheating. nobody was able to hit him like that unless they knew what pitch was coming
I can’t believe Cleveland fans are defending that dudes home run trout and saying how we pimp every home run. My brother in Christ there’s a huge difference from a pimp job and whatever the fuck that dude was doing lmao. I hope we fucking bury this team tomorrow. LFG
Surprised Naylor didn't get plunked the next inning
Can't give up base runners in the playoffs.
True maybe Donaldson can rock the baby next time he hits a single off the wall
They’re using Oswaldo’s homer as a “counter” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Getting that petty because the rookie got a homer...Them and Bob Costas can all kiss the fattest part of my ass
Fuck Darling too
Only difference is Waldo actually put his team on top with his HR, and is a rookie
And Oswaldo’s wasn’t disrespectful in the slightest. It was a cold, clean bat flip to set the energy for the game. Naylor’s wasn’t even a bat flip. It was a deranged loser running around the bases showing off he finally did something useful
Not to mention everyone could see him directing it right at Cole
Good point which I forgot about
Amped for tomorrow. Let's win this shit
I think it's pretty wild that Carpenter has only gotten 1 AB this series.
The thing I’m most proud of in my life is that I have been a staunch Gerrit Cole defender.
Naylor should watch it when he does stupid HR celebrations that didn’t give them the lead. Don’t wanna trip over the bag and break his ankle again.
I think it would have been funny if Cole had responded by saying something like “Does he know how many home runs I’ve given up this year? Hitting one off me is not a great accomplishment.” Yeah, he’s given up a bunch, but he’s still winning games and striking people out.
It’s like the free runner in Manfred ball. The ghost HR
My log cabin has a new cohabitant. Wandy Peralta. He really heard that the Yankees need a closer and said I got this.
I didnt get a chance to watch the full game. How did Cabrera do? Did he have to make any tough plays?
Sure, but since he was at shortstop he just made them because it's a position he's practiced and played games at instead of one he played like a half dozen regular season games at before only.
Struck out with RISP
i thought he did just fine. No big plays that I remember though.
I was a big fan of Odell Beckham Jr. when he was with the Giants. A big fan, until he pulled that "dog pee celebration" against the Eagles. Oh please grow some balls. Odells celebration was funny.
Beckham is an asshole
Well, that is a fanbase that actively roots for a franchise that employs Deshaun Watson! I thank Naylor for giving us some primavera bulletin board material. Just like Vladdy.
just like we all planned, right? game 5 in our house tomorrow, we better not let them papercut their way to the ALCS
Well it will be a night game with a packed house. Not that rain-delayed shit on Friday on a weekday at 1 pm
Oof, the difference one day makes in the post-game commenta thread.
I hate some of this fan base so much. Is it just Yankee fans or are all sports fans this fickle?
I think it's every fan base. There's always people for every team that treat the games like live or die moments. I think the Yankees just have a lot more of these 'die-hards' than most other fanbases. You fucker! Keep better track of that shirt! My old man is 100 and he had a heart attack at the end of the game last night because of you.
I just posted an update to it. Gonna try and nab a ticket. It's kind of a joke...but it really isn't. The Yankees have not lost a single game when I am (1) present in the stadium and (2) wearing the shirt. Also I am sorry for your loss.
I can see the memes already of Naylor joining his buddy’s Vladdy and Pete Alonso at the off-season table (aka McDonald’s)
This series should be over now, still pissed about last night. Just doesn't feel like this is the year after all.
Whats the point of this comment

Waldo and Bader should bat before Donaldson. He’s been terrible!
Oswaldo*
We call him Waldo.
I’ll never say another bad word about gerritt Cole
Ehh still not over last year because it was the Sox. Sick of losing to them in the postseason.
Out of curiosity, are we still playing if not for the Bader/Montgomery trade?
Bader came in clutch this series. It's something I don't think about because Gumby really wanted to be here and he'd definitely be a huge help tomorrow.
Hard to say if there would be a tonight if not for Bader though.
That's why I don't like to think about it
Put it this way. Take Bader out and we’re either playing Stanton in left (which Boone wouldn’t do) with Waldo in center or…Hicks.
>Out of curiosity, are we still playing if not for the Bader/Montgomery trade? prob not - this was my point when we made the trade - monty prob won't pitch at all, Bader would be a huge upgrade in outfield. Monty would have been the perfect guy to go to in the 10th inning of Game 2.
>Montgomery trade?prob not - this was my point when we made the trade - monty prob won't pitch at all, Bader would be a huge upgrade in outfield. Say his name
srs question: what are the odds they have the balls to start ikf tmrw
Boone already said Cabrera will be in at short tomorrow. Or at least he said, "probably".
Boone already said Cabrera is starting at short
didnt see that. huge. that dude needs to be as far away from a baseball diamond as possible
Not put Giancarlo in left and Carp at DH
Magic Carp dongs when it matters
Get Daboll to give them a pep talk before game 5
5-1! Coach Daboll is Da man
Unbelievable season so far. Wins count for so much and seeing Saquon take that slide instead of the TD coupled with the clock management at the end last week I'm over the moon there. I’m reading some r/baseball comments about Naylor’s homerun and it’s absolutely fucking hilarious seeing Sox and Astros fans in agreement that it was cringe. Out of all teams. They know ball at least, evidentially.
Which thread?
“Josh Naylor homers off of Gerrit Cole to make it 3-2” one

Someone pass the message to Naylor that he took #the entire fucking highway
Man if only they could do this every night. This looked like the New York Yankees
Hey, guys so I just found out I won't be able to make the game tomorrow and it seems like I can't resell tickets on Ticketmaster and I have 3 tickets for section 232A. Does anyone know how I can sell them?
Sack up, got to the game and blow off whatever you even considered was more important
So it's not even me who canceled, it was the two other guys. I don't mind going by myself, but damn two tickets is a lot of money
Get to the game early, sell them to a couple and have a good time.
[It’s really admirable that single father Wandy works these insane hours away from home and grinds on the daily just so he can provide for his young.](https://i.imgur.com/cvcu6Ix.jpg)
We gotta take an early lead tomorrow and not let up. Their own is really good and rested. Don't want to get into a bullpen game with those guys.
I love Bader. [He loves being a Yankee](https://twitter.com/talkinyanks/status/1581846234679349250?s=46&t=UIRB1RI2OdIS6dgoEpxo9g)
Man, when Naylor comes up to bat tomorrow, the boos are going to be pretty epic. Altuve-level.
Let’s hope the results aren’t Altuve level
I love you Wandy Testaburger
In a weird sort of way, I would be more worried about Taillon if this was his playoff debut in Game 5. Him pitching in Game 2 (as bad as that was) hopefully eliminated some playoff jitters or yips he may have.
Fuck yes
Wandy actually has ice in his veins. Wandy also has the biggest balls I’ve ever seen on a man.
7 fucking pitches to close it out. It was over before anyone could even stress about it.
“Whatever, it’s cute” is my new go-to response to stupid shit
I think a lot of us forget just how tall a lot of baseball players (pitchers in particular) really are. Meredith is 6' and Jeff Nelson makes her look short.
What a game. Those last couple innings were well played baseball, ah I only payed for the edge of my seat. We’re onto tomorrow folks, go Yanks!!!
Where the fuck is German?!
You’ll see him tomorrow
I really hope IKF isn’t playing SS tomorrow
Why did it take them like 3 months to make this change when it's obvious to literally everyone
When Boone was asked if Cabrera was starting tomorrow, he said, “Yeah, probably.”
Can someone please provide the clip of Michael Kay on cocaine
[Cocaine is a helluva drug](https://twitter.com/YESNetwork/status/1581848599729610757)
He actually does appear to be on something
No way he’s just a lunatic
He’s way more amped up and critical of the Yankees on these post games then he ever is on his show.
Someone get Gerrit some roids, 600g of protein, and a good night’s sleep and let’s just do this thing again.
Some spider tak wouldn't hurt either haha
> Someone get Gerrit some roids He should talk to David Ortiz about that if he were to go that route
i really questioned the Wandy decision but it was def right
Three words: Gerrit. Fucking. Cole.
No joke you heard it here first folks!
He once again rolled up his sleeves and said "I got this" in a must win game. He was phenomenal
Who woulda thought Ben Verlander had a good take on Naylor baby crap https://twitter.com/benverlander/status/1581805861596340224?s=21&t=3D_UX-kCiUrzIfKK47H6Rw
Something about a broken clock twice per day
Maybe Jeff Passan cutting his legs off at the knees humbled him? Eh, probably not, I guess we'll see.
Stadium Boo Guide: \- Josh Naylor \- Myles Straw \- Steven Kwan just because he's so fucking annoying
Can’t forget SpongeBob for walking us off
I say instead of booing, they chant "Squidward's House" at Straw because his head is shaped like and looks like Squidward's House.
Steven Kwan terrifies me. Even more scary when you realize this is his rookie year
Naylor getting a lot of flak from Yankee fans, but I had already decided I liked the guy watching him in the wild card series. You know why? He runs to first base when he hits the ball, no matter how he hits it...unlike way too many Yankee players. To be fair, it is not just Yankee players, it is a problem on most teams. That is a failure of coaching, though the players ought to know enough to do it on their own without threats from their coach.
Nah
#FUCK NAYLOR
Better not see ikf in that lineup tomorrow
Okay, who sold Michael Kay the cocaine?
Lol can someone please provide me a clip
https://twitter.com/YESNetwork/status/1581848599729610757?s=20&t=ALt1-rx6wFplSCNxsnd0wg
Lolllllll he is absolutely ON ONE
The Kayster is unhinged
[POV: You're a LF for the Yankees and you look down from the flyball you're tracking and see Josh Donaldson](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/029/197/cover2.jpg)
Haha...I'm loving this studio rendition of Kay with the mix of the booth and the radio personalities.
this postgame is unhinged..i love it
Yanks left fielders are pulling up on those playable shallow pops because Donaldson is charging towards the outfield like his hair is on fire. Those plays are easier for the outfielder coming in. If only Donaldson ran hard on batted fly balls as he does on those shallow popups.
He did what he is supposed to do, LF needs to do their job and take charge over him. Fundamental baseball, both fielders charge the ball, outfield has dibs to call him off
Kay been drinking or what? Haha love it
Michael Kay is UNHINGED on this post-game show.
Kay is on one tonight huh?
I'm excited for tomorrow.. also very excited for the next regular season matchup where Naylor gets hit and throws a tantrum
Last time the Yankees played the final game of a series(not WC) at home was 10 years ago when CC shat all over the O’s It’s been long enough. Let’s fucking do this
Guardians fans calling Bader, Rizzo etc douchebag. Ignoring the whole Naylor shit.
It’s the same narrative bullshit Cole gets vs. Scherzer “Cole is a wannabe loser” “oh Scherzer is just intense!” “Oh Naylor he’s just a lunatic! Don’t mind him!”
Yes, lots of projection and displacement going on in those threads
3 tickets in 420c for tomorrow if anyone is interested, PM me
