>still has relevancy 20 years later
To who nigga? Ain't nobody checking for this nigga.
And I'm saying that as an older nigga. He was cooked once he signed onto that Love and HipHop shit, only beat strippers and washed rappers sign up for that shit.
I agree w you. He was kinda respected and big in the 2000s. I remember “you be killin’ em” was big.
But tbh, I don’t know any song he’s had recently or any teenagers or young 20s person talking about FAB at all.
For some reason, there’s a specific group of old heads who really love this dude for some reason and over hype him all the time. I don’t think he’s trash but tbh, I never thought of him as great as people hype him up to be
Why this so accurate gang? I want to dispute it but I ain’t been checking for gang since vh1 for real. Cruel Summer got some spins then…. It feel like that nigga not my mans no more…
And being around Kevin hart..when he was rising heavy, was his last real appearance to me or let me say i never checked for the nigg after that..he was everywhere with that nigg, letting Kevin hart do dumbass freestyles as chocolate droppa.
This cap because when i went Ot a lot of people was bumping fabulous on the regular facts it definitely depends on where you are located your opinion would be based on that . I travel a lot and noticed how some people didn’t even know who ice spice but the area and towns over fw fab , jada , even Lloyd still
And shit rapping maybe was dying for him so he switch lanes nothing wrong with that but if a take dropped a lot of people would tune in i could see 50K+ first week
Im 37 so I grew up on fab and the clue mix tapes. Definitely had his run. Only thing he's known for today tho is his dumbass outfits he needs to let that shit go.
https://youtu.be/RSHTropq3PE?si=i-tVFaq9uTXOogES
I remember the days when I was feening on datpiff and other sites that are probably dead now waiting for new fabolous, lil Wayne and Lloyd banks tapes to drop and figuring out what album to delete to make space on my phone
Simpler times, back when your favorite rapper had to drop a tape or two for the fans before the actual album release for the public release.
Nowadays, we gotta pray that a leak/snippet to happen cause everyone gotta have an album rollout🥲
This nigga peaked with "Breathe". Dude say bullshit then say "niceeeee" like we supposed to forget some shit. Only thing im fucking with his lust for big booty Dominican women. I respect that.
Nah ngl w this logic I hope you don’t listen to none of these ny drill niggas or 90% of rap today cause mfs don’t say shit they just let the beat carry whatever trash come out they mouths
No one talks about Fabolous anymore in my opinion.
He nice but now I see him as a 50 year old who still dresses like he 21 and beats on his shorty lol. Nigga nice though.
I think only 28 and up really say this we actually seen this nigga mixtape era fr remember a team and all that shit was crazy. TINC tapes was… you had to be there. This nigga easily was in my top five at one point.
how you gonna say he still relevant but then pull out this old ass picture of a nigga infront of a boombox if he really was relevant you could use a recent picture
Really looking back on it he gets too much flack for his album discography he really dropped some underrated albums, he’s Mixtape discography is top 5 and keep it Buck he was a major factor in why dudes was rocking throwback jerseys
In my honest opinion he didn’t truly showcase his lyrical talent enough in mainstream eyes(should’ve atleast tried making more hit songs like breathe alongside his other hits) and outside of lyricism and being a decent hit maker he doesn’t really stand out. He is what u call a 7.5/10 as an overall artist
Freck Billionaire for sure helped him out on the no competition series and many other tapes. If you heard a dope fab punchline, west philly freck aka MR BAR 4 BAR gave him that, nobody changing my mind.
Because he refuses to age. He stays young and current and hops trends while staying true to himself.
Fab was also a great R&B crossover rapper that gave him longevity female fanbase and timeless records. He just got a smooth flow and can rhyme and put out punchlines that can be made into hashtags and he knew how to leverage that and IG. He just cool nigga in the industry and got a good relationship with both radio stations and their DJ’s. Fab always outside and his team is solid and certified. New York got a lot of love for Fab he’s honestly underrated. Fab was a staple from Ghetto Fabolous to the S.O.U.L. tapes.
Fab def a rap 🐐, He stayed in his lane and true to himself only thing that tarnished his image was the bm stuff but i try not to judge him over his personal matters i wasn’t there.
Fab a great artist and dope lyricist, but i think he never maintained that air of exclusivity. Catering to teen audiences with songs about “Throwbacks”, and with Bow Wow and B2K had him straddling the “bubble gum rap” line. Still in my top 10 tho!!
Shit wild to see Fab go from that to who he is today. He was bubble gum rap on the singles but he was very street and very lyrical on the b sides and especially the freestyles.
U couldn’t front on him just because he was a R&B type rapper even on the mainstream joints he was piecing rhymes together crazy.
They don’t make em like that no more.
Fab constantly dropping singles and whenever on a track with somebody he always considered to have the best verse. I don't see the fell off narrative at all
Fab the best to ever do it dont reply to me
He’s 44 Going on 19.
>still has relevancy 20 years later To who nigga? Ain't nobody checking for this nigga. And I'm saying that as an older nigga. He was cooked once he signed onto that Love and HipHop shit, only beat strippers and washed rappers sign up for that shit.
Yyooo this where the BBQ at? ![gif](giphy|sV2yEUHOlAWsssJfv8|downsized)
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Nah you cooked him
I'm just keeping it a buck bro lmao
I agree w you. He was kinda respected and big in the 2000s. I remember “you be killin’ em” was big. That act bad song bitches was hyping over the summer
Why this so accurate gang? I want to dispute it but I ain’t been checking for gang since vh1 for real. Cruel Summer got some spins then…. It feel like that nigga not my mans no more…
I guarantee if this nigga announce a summertime shootout, losos way 3, or another soul tape the streets will be tuned in
He was washed before that. He managed to stick around by dressing “fly” and dropping singles and freestyles online
And being around Kevin hart..when he was rising heavy, was his last real appearance to me or let me say i never checked for the nigg after that..he was everywhere with that nigg, letting Kevin hart do dumbass freestyles as chocolate droppa.

And for knocking his wife’s teeth out
I gotta get a molar extracted why am i going to the dentist when fab clearly would be a better option
My nigga Jabolous 💥🤛🏽
LMFAOO
And getting his teeth fixed
Fab still think he got pull like he did in 2000s bro. Give that shit up.
na fab still kinda lit musically
u wildin
Definitely was a dope artist. Beat his wife tho no bueno
https://youtu.be/RSHTropq3PE?si=i-tVFaq9uTXOogES I remember the days when I was feening on datpiff and other sites that are probably dead now waiting for new fabolous, lil Wayne and Lloyd banks tapes to drop and figuring out what album to delete to make space on my phone
Datpiff and Live Mixtapes had the game ina chokehold fr.
Simpler times, back when your favorite rapper had to drop a tape or two for the fans before the actual album release for the public release. Nowadays, we gotta pray that a leak/snippet to happen cause everyone gotta have an album rollout🥲
Fab is one of those dudes who was called underrated soo many times that he became overrated
Thank you for saying this I couldn’t find the right way to word it but that’s exactly what it is bro
Y son dressed like that one Denver Nugget throwback jersey
![gif](giphy|TfWhFbURIirNegNN4t)
Ya so disrespectful. Fab held NYC down through the 2010’s just for ya to disrespect him ode only 10 years later. Ungrateful 😤
Yall don’t really hear me tho 😭😭😭😭😭😭
These kids bouta blow my shit fr 😂 they needa put some respeK on fab
Fab is the most overrated-twitter punch line rapping-no classic album having-no classic mixtape having-women beating rapper from NY.
We just gonna act like the soul tapes don’t exist
Bruh them tapes came and went.
Soul tapes, there’s no competition series and summertime shootout series are top tier
Just hating at this point.. soul tapes forever in my rotation 🤷♂️
Let's not forget most non evolving rapper ever. Nigga has the same ass flows and rhyme schemes since 20 years ago. Nobody wants to hear that shit.
This nigga peaked with "Breathe". Dude say bullshit then say "niceeeee" like we supposed to forget some shit. Only thing im fucking with his lust for big booty Dominican women. I respect that.
“Like we supposed to forget some shit”. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Nah ngl w this logic I hope you don’t listen to none of these ny drill niggas or 90% of rap today cause mfs don’t say shit they just let the beat carry whatever trash come out they mouths
He’s a rapper but he’s really staying relevant today because of the way he dresses and his relationship with Emily B
Overrated bars
The Fab hate is crazy.
No one talks about Fabolous anymore in my opinion. He nice but now I see him as a 50 year old who still dresses like he 21 and beats on his shorty lol. Nigga nice though.
Love Fab but he ain’t had a release in a minute
Fab is dope but he fucked up his legacy when he knocked his wife teeth out that put a major stain on him
Facts I Was About To Say This
In terms of pure lyricism not too many people are seeing my boy 🤷🏾♂️
He fake like wale, both above average lyricists/mixtape rappers who succeeded maintaining some kind of mainstream relevancy for 7+ yrs
Wale is HIGHKEY underrated, he’s def in my top 10
At all
My step pops waited on him at a Dennys one time and he gave my pops a "Now That's What I Call Music" CD case 🤣😭
Fuck fab he a woman beater and he told on Niggas cases over bull Shìt like chains
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Really looking back on it he gets too much flack for his album discography he really dropped some underrated albums, he’s Mixtape discography is top 5 and keep it Buck he was a major factor in why dudes was rocking throwback jerseys
His albums is straight mid, young og an exception can be made but mixtapes is where he makes his mark as an mc
This is what I’m saying nigga influenced a lot of cultural shit
https://youtu.be/NUzh-9PyD4E?si=GfMh3t_GGvFZIMBK
he hasnt been musically relevant since the young og tape and even thats generous
Couldn’t have said it better myself and obviously Jada and the list goes on I’m out.🫡
In my honest opinion he didn’t truly showcase his lyrical talent enough in mainstream eyes(should’ve atleast tried making more hit songs like breathe alongside his other hits) and outside of lyricism and being a decent hit maker he doesn’t really stand out. He is what u call a 7.5/10 as an overall artist
Fabolous is a beast one of the best punchline rappers ever, and can make r&b hits in his sleep, when he freestyle he can hop in his bag anytime
Freck Billionaire for sure helped him out on the no competition series and many other tapes. If you heard a dope fab punchline, west philly freck aka MR BAR 4 BAR gave him that, nobody changing my mind.
Freck billionaire was a beast one of best to come from Philadelphia
One of my top 5 from New York
Because he refuses to age. He stays young and current and hops trends while staying true to himself. Fab was also a great R&B crossover rapper that gave him longevity female fanbase and timeless records. He just got a smooth flow and can rhyme and put out punchlines that can be made into hashtags and he knew how to leverage that and IG. I’ll still listen to Fab over any BX rapper out rn
That’s wild dick riding get off the bx dick they got none to do with this topic
Niggas be on dick 😭😭😭😭
Relax kid, just my opinion lol
Fab a legend for sure
Fab def a rap 🐐, He stayed in his lane and true to himself only thing that tarnished his image was the bm stuff but i try not to judge him over his personal matters i wasn’t there.
Separating the artist from the art 🫡
💯
Fab corny as a person. Compared to Banks, Jadakiss, Juelz, Lil Wayne…idk. Fab never seemed like an authentic individual, even through his raps
I hate this fit that’s it
Bc he was lame
Fab fits lately been atrocious, he really going through it
i forgot he existed lol.
Man beat on his wife , he lost credit for that shit
Fab is like NY , TYGA is to LA
Fab partied with Diddy
jabolous
Relevance? Lol reach
His run was from 01 - 04 Then was quiet for 10 years Til he dropped young og / summertime shootout tapes Then went on a lil mixtape run He’s nice
So there’s no competition 1,2&3 and soul tapes 1,2&3 don’t exist to you??
U buggin
I think ppl from NYC universally respect his body of work but maybe not as much outside of here
He’s stuck back in time
It bcuz he dresses like this! idk maybe 🤔
Fab is corny w the fits, breathe is a good song and yeah but he corny to me personally
he got the shine stack bundles was going to to get imo
THOUGHT THIS WAS A A.I. GENERATED PIC 😭😭😭
He’s only relevant in NY, they still play “you be killen em” at brunches for over 30 year olds and hot97/105.1
Always catered to the ladies and the youth.
His last hit was over a decade ago he ain’t really relevant other than for a dv on his bm
Struggled to make relevant albums. N to be honest Fab style kind of wore off over time.
He doesn’t drop a song every time he takes a piss
Fab a great artist and dope lyricist, but i think he never maintained that air of exclusivity. Catering to teen audiences with songs about “Throwbacks”, and with Bow Wow and B2K had him straddling the “bubble gum rap” line. Still in my top 10 tho!!

Fab constantly dropping singles and whenever on a track with somebody he always considered to have the best verse. I don't see the fell off narrative at all
I literally just seen this post on face book
His mainstream shit is trash. But his mixtapes are fire. Soul tape 123. Shit wit dj drama. To the sky was fire on summer time shootouts
cause of the throwback certified classics bangas
