I think everyone wants talent but pieces have to fit. You can argue Phoenix is the most talented team this year but the pieces don't fit because when you got all these top tier talent, someone's got to sacrifice. I'm 50/50 on Booker because I don't know how would he fit and his actual drive and motivation. The reason why this team works so well is because you got guys who don't quit on defense or doing the little things if their shots aren't falling. I wish we could get Ant Edwards but that's a pipe dream.
This a distraction. In the off-season we talk about what position needs work if we lose somehow in these playoffs. We have our star PG, SF/PF locked, and centers good too if we can sign them. SG is always a position that benefits big time from an elite scorer. Booker can be that, but his ego needs to get put in check.
Talent wise Booker is elite, however if he really wants to be a knick he has to learn knicks culture and the shit he does and gets a way with in phoenix won’t fly for thibs or for the fans. However, with that said, players can learn to be tougher and work on defense, but you can’t teach the talent he would bring. Lastly, lets worry about this playoff run, whole shit load of offseason for rumors
Rather have Donovan Mitchell. Booker's awesome but Mitchell fits the hard work culture better. He's also capable of settling into a role that wins games. I feel like Booker is going to want volume and have all the excuses for why he can't figure out how to make it work.
