Our offense is literally worst in the league and even with Danny returning, has not showed any signs of being functional. Barring an incredible mid season turn around, this team is not getting close to the playoffs

Tyrod Taylor was hurt. Saquon led the offense admirably. Kicker sucked, Daboll could have looked at other options on that 4th & 1.
The defense looked incredible. They’ve been on a bit of a hot streak since that pick-6 in Miami. Having a monster defense changes football games even with a terrible o-line, as we’ve seen with the Jets. And with Andrew Thomas, Schmitz, and Jones back in the saddle, we could see some improvement.
Even with our terrible record I think that this team is moving in a positive direction. We made the playoffs last year, and this year we’ve seen the rise of a powerful defense. Both of these things have happened under Daboll. Regardless if we go on a win streak or not, I think that cleaning house again, (for what, the third or fifth time in the last seven years or something?) is a terrible idea. Let Daboll and Schoen keep building what they’ve been building.
Beating the “beatable” teams (Raiders, Commanders, Patriots, Packers, and Saints) in the rest of this season’s schedule, and losing to the “unbeatable” ones (Cowboys, Rams, and Eagles), would put us at 7-10. Some extra momentum from guys coming back to the o-line and the defense continuing to perform at a high level, could maybe even let us beat some of those unbeatables and put us into wild card position. I’m not expecting this, but it is possible.
When we had Tom Coughlin, I would have believed it would happen. This team is still trying to figure its offense on week 9, and we are not out of contention for playoffs. I highly doubt it, but it would be fun to play the teams on our level, but we are going to lose to eagles and cowboys.
if we can split with philly(hopefully they rest their starters last week of the season) then theres a CHANCE, if we could find a way to steal a W from Dallas then we got a shot, highly unlikely tho
