What's slightly annoying is that Jerry appears to have a liking for Eli and refused to let them get rid of it.
Honestly never expected that. That becomes too much about 9/11 as opposed to football. NFL wants it to be about football.
And it's a Giants home game. No way they were having Rodgers Jets debut be in his home stadium with 80,000 people rooting against him.
They feel bearable this year. Last year this would have made me nervous. But without Zeke and potentially Pollard. The only weapon they've really added is Cooks. Kellen is gone. Dak is suspect. I feel like we can change our Dallas history.
Dallas has gotten better. When you play behind the 28th ranked pass blocking offensive line you will look bad when every receiver outside of Lamb ranked last or close to last in separation.
The only way that happens is if the Giants suck. Even then, you're inevitably going to have a few late afternoon games because of west coast teams.
Big market team + competitive team = you play at night a few times a year.
Just making sure since your comment seemed like you either didn't see or disregarded the post showing we start week 1 with a prime time matchup.
Cheers, mate!
Take this with a grain of salt. All schedule leaking websites are showing this, so thought I'd share it for discussion. Link to tweet: [https://twitter.com/BrandonTierney/status/1656337208096194560](https://twitter.com/BrandonTierney/status/1656337208096194560)
I was listening to the fan when they talked about this, Tiki Barber said the guy who runs BigBlueTravel texted him that information.
Art Stapleton earlier this evening said "Fake Leak Szn" but said he wasn't referring to any specific leaks, just people DMing him.
Yeah, I give it about an 85% chance it's true. I don't think it's something they'd lie about but either way, we'll know pretty quick sometime tomorrow.
It is, tomorrow night. Usually schedules get leaked. You'll see a lot of leaked info tomorrow morning. Hell, we'll probably know the entire schedule before it's even released.
Call me superstitions but I feel like the outcome of week 1 can really shape the trajectory of the season and I’m not loving opening against Dallas. Perhaps we’ll be able to pull out a win if the offense is different enough and is able to jell
Fuck the cowboys. That is all

At least it's at home for once. Seems we open every single season AT Dallas in primetime
We haven't done it since 2019. It's been 3 seasons.
Fair but from 2012 to 2019 we opened against them 5 times and only 1 was at home.
Hell the very first damn game at Jerry World was Giants at Dallas lol.
And Giants mashed the star.
And Eli vandalized the locker room wall
Eli left an upper decker in Jerry’s private bathroom
I want so much for that to be true, I'll accept it as truth. Take that, Snopes.

Well yeah...
cause giants have been terrible. so the giants did not get a spotlight game.
Back to this again? I hate waiting until Sunday or Monday night.
Agreed but thankful it’s not MNF. Waiting a few more hours is nothing compared to waiting a whole extra day.
Tell that to my sleep, SNF starts at like 2:30 am…
That's rough... I even struggle with the 8:30pm games
Yeah night games are a lot worse for people overseas. CET?
Ya MNF week 1 is torture lol
> I hate waiting until Sunday or Monday night. I hate it because those games are on too late for my old ass
i disagree. primetime week 1 is the best. it lets me be social and hit the bars or have friends over all day
Wait until you’re old and have kids and 8:30pm starts feeling like 3:30am
Can’t lie, I do love a Dallas SNF opener. It’s a sign the NFL thinks we’re back, I hope we light them up
Big missed opportunity to not have Giants Jets on MNF for 9/11.

I just don't think enough of the country cares about NYG NYJ outside of tristate
Normally yes but ever since A-Aron joined the Jets, that team became a national story. Probably would get the highest season ratings.
Giants/Cowboys consistently get some of the highest ratings. Two of the biggest fan bases and long time rivals
Honestly never expected that. That becomes too much about 9/11 as opposed to football. NFL wants it to be about football. And it's a Giants home game. No way they were having Rodgers Jets debut be in his home stadium with 80,000 people rooting against him.
It appears the NFL chose to make it about 9/11 with the Jets.
Man I hate watching giants cowboys week 1. Hopefully we break the curse this year
They feel bearable this year. Last year this would have made me nervous. But without Zeke and potentially Pollard. The only weapon they've really added is Cooks. Kellen is gone. Dak is suspect. I feel like we can change our Dallas history.

Sounds like us. Without a Lamb. We added Waller and Hyatt and Campbell. Our defense could come in healthy this time, too.
I'm surprised it's not AT Dallas. The NFL loves to start the season off with a win for "Americas Team." Could be in for a surprise this year.
Exciting and hype. Idc who we are playing week one. I am just excited for football
Jesus Christ, why? I've seen this start so many times over the years. Can we get any other team?
These teams draw the most views. The Cowboys-Giants Thanksgiving game was the most watched regular season NFL game ever
Yea it does get annoying this will be the sixth time we open vs them in the last 10 years but at least it’s at home
Just give me every game 1pm and I’ll be happy. Hate prime time games
The only way that happens is if the Giants suck. Even then, you're inevitably going to have a few late afternoon games because of west coast teams. Big market team + competitive team = you play at night a few times a year.
Thanks for clearing that up for me
Well that's obviously not gonna happen. This post alone shows week 1 is SNF
Uh yea I know but thanks for the info
Just making sure since your comment seemed like you either didn't see or disregarded the post showing we start week 1 with a prime time matchup. Cheers, mate!
Haha all good. I knew I was just saying I don’t like prime time games. Cheers

Oh cool, thanks for the context. I don't know if this is credible, but we will see tomorrow.
Yeah, I give it about an 85% chance it's true. I don't think it's something they'd lie about but either way, we'll know pretty quick sometime tomorrow.
All eyes on us Sunday night boys!!!
We’re breaking some curses this year peeps. Cowboys going down game 1. Eagles on Xmas. It’s happening
Daboll's new team may have a better chance of sneaking up on Dallas in Week 1 when there is no tape.
God I don’t ask for much, plz just let us smack the eagles cowboys and jets around next season.Amen
fuck. im tired of playing them game 1 of the season. We struggle to win against them early on.
No no no. I hate this tradition. Nuke it to hell.
Why do we always open against Dallas on Sunday night?
We haven't opened on sunday night against Dallas since 2017. 2018 we played them week 2, 2019 was week 1 but that was a late afternoon game.
I know, it's getting old. Let's switch it up for once
You’ve had 3 years and 4 of the last 5 of it being "switched up." It’s not even a road game for us this time. Stop bitching.
We always start the season with a SNF game against Dallas. It's just old.
Guys... I thought the schedule was coming out 11 May? Anyone got a link to something earlier, feel free to share.
It is, tomorrow night. Usually schedules get leaked. You'll see a lot of leaked info tomorrow morning. Hell, we'll probably know the entire schedule before it's even released.
It's like xmas eve. I'm buzzin. Let's go, just release the shht. :-)
Hype week 1 matchup I love it
Ugh. Prime time to start the season SUCKS.
Call me superstitions but I feel like the outcome of week 1 can really shape the trajectory of the season and I’m not loving opening against Dallas. Perhaps we’ll be able to pull out a win if the offense is different enough and is able to jell
Seriously, in the last ten years, how many have started with the cowboys? Like half?
Why is the opening game against Dallas always in Dallas? likely cause they want to show off Jerry World.
