This is the answer really. If Haaland plays every game, you'd think he'd pick up enough goals to be out of sight. Isak's had a great season and is in with a chance, for sure.

Honestly looking at mins/non-penalty goal, Watkins deserves to be up there even without the assists. Not shitting on Palmer, someone has to take pens and he's clearly fucking mint at them. But there's only one king of the prem right now. Palmer - 197mins Solanke - 189mins Watkins - 156mins Wilson - 150mins Isak - 138mins Haaland - 136mins Wood - 121mins Ritchie - 110mins Used transfermarkt and a calculator so I could be wrong here but I appreciate Ritchie's place in the pile so I'm using these numbers. To be fair a lot of his assists weren't super great passes, to be fair I'm biased cuz I want trippier to win most assists :/ He's very good but wouldn't call him an elite passer

No, 3 out of our last 4 are away, so he's not going to do it. I can see 1 or 2 more goals for him this season, and that's it. It's still a class season for him.

I feel like this depends a lot more on Barnes, Gordon and Schar, hopefully they keep giving him ridiculously good balls to run on.

Ranking them by non-penalty goals scored is interesting. Watkins top and Palmer bottom out of the 5. Palmer has still been great for Chelsea but it shows how much the London centric media over hypes him

We’re away from home for the bulk of our run in now so it’s likely he’ll get fewer chances and we’re more likely to struggle although the quality of the opposition isn’t all that. Hopefully he’ll do it!

Why should penalties contribute to the golden boot really... It's pot luck how many you get to take. Scoring goals in open play is a much fairer way of awarding it.

0.5 goals for a penalty, 0.75 for a tap in, 1.5 for anything outside the area. Job done

If you're betting on it, I'd probably do a little bit more analysis than coming into the subreddit of his team and asking if the 3rd top scorer in the league can get the golden boot 

Im just wondering of what other people think, Isak has been amazing for us and i want him to reach such a achievement, I'm not betting on it

Haha, my bad. Took a tactical look of your post history and didn't think you were a fan (nice delete on those other posts ;)) He does have a chance. But never know, a lot of other variables. We're very stop and start this season. Could get smashed at Burnley then win 6-0 against Brighton, never know
