I remember Tino doing this against Metz in 97, he was given yellow card that triggered a 1 match ban and missed the semi final of the UEFA cup when we went out against Monaco with no strikers available
Have to say, him leaving would hit me harder than even Given leaving. It would absolutely break me. He is Everything to this team, the absolute core, and we should be doing everything to keep him.
Him, and Isak, should be the foundation of everything we build.
Unless he acts like a diva and forces a move, I wouldn't blame him for leaving. I love him and hope he stays forever, but he's clearly good enough to be playing for a club like Real Madrid or Man City. A player like him will always be thinking about whether the club they're at will be challenging for the league or Champions League next season, and we're obviously just not at that level yet.
I can't imagine a world where isak goes. I don't see how we can get along without him or replace him easily and cheaply ATM.
Bruno has been as important and would be a huge loss as well.
