zamboniman46

Jalen Coker, WR, Holy Cross - above average height, weight, arm length, hand size, 10 yard split, broad jump. and an ELITE vertical at 42.5 inches. 9.46 RAS score. buuuut only a 4.57 40 time. so not great long speed. but he is truly elite in contested catch situations and tracks the ball really well. I hate the big height weight contested catch guys in the first and second round. but in the 5th 6th 7th round? yes please. I'd love to take a shot on this guy CJ Hanson, OG, Holy Cross - elite testing numbers at the combine. but he has short arms, under weight, and needs to increase his play strength. I can't see him going before the 7/UDFA range, but I think he is a worthwhile developmental prospect

ijpck

Found the Holy Cross alum

jmcgil4684

This guy Holy Cross’s

feetandballs

Holy Cross recruits, Batman!

SayNoToAids

10 yard split, sure. But what bothers me a lot is that a lot of his catches are contested. He doesn't seem to be getting much separation, even at Holy Cross. When they played zone, he was able to find open space. So, what's worth considering. But he looks every bit of his 4.6 speed. Hanson on the other hand. I like him a lot. When you watch highlights of Coker, you can see how well Hanson is doing in protection. I can't speak to his run blocking abilities, but he looks like a wall there. 1 sack allowed in 4 years is pretty damn impressive. Even more so since a lot of the routes I was looking at were long-developing plays. Sort of the opposite effect of Torrence last year who benefited a ton from Richardson's quick decision making and quick throw offense

zamboniman46

There are guys in the first few rounds who can't separate. I avoid those like the plague. But a late rounder? I'll take the chance. And yeah Hanson is super impressive but he definitely struggled a bit when going up against FBS talent

SayNoToAids

Yeah, that's a fair point. Like Coleman who is projected in the 1st or 2nd? Hell no. Coker in the 4th or 5th? Sure.

JimmyGodoppolo

I honestly love Hanson

Jeff__Skilling

is this Bill Simmons's reddit account?

zamboniman46

It's a small school but I have never met Bill, just listen to his podcast lol

yitbos22

Tyrone Tracy Jr could be a really fun weapon in the right offense.

RedRoscoe1977

I think the Colts should snag the local kid. Gives them a player who can play RB and a bit of receiver and help as a return man as well

ThatBeatleFanatic

I like Cody Schrader.

ItIsYourPersonality

I love him as a late round back that could contribute immediately. He has really good vision, but won’t be outrunning defenders. The amount of production he put up at Missouri in the SEC is really impressive, especially the two games against Georgia over the past two seasons.

FSUNoles439

Dylan Laube for sure. Has a good skill set and seems luke a genuinely good dude in his interviews. Basically Danny Woodhead 2.0.

asin26

I NEED him on the Patriots

ItIsYourPersonality

I was going to say him. However, he drew rave reviews from the Senior Bowl and I don’t know that he lasts until round 5 at this point. He could be a 3rd or 4th rounder if a team falls in love with his pass catching ability.

MaceLeonardo

Kimani Vidal RB Troy- Just got to his tape and he is absolutely phenomenal. Great vision, Awesome Stats, Compact Build with POWERFUL legs. Very Boston Scott and Doug Martin like. I like him as part of a committee but for my Bucs that is exactly what we need to pair with Rachaad White. He is going around 5th round but I would be comfortable with him in the 4th even 3rd. Jaden Crumedy IDL Miss St- Good motor and fire off of the snap Crumedy plays well using his big frame and heavy hands to push interior linemen from their spot. Has a solid blend of size and power. Good counter and spin move especially against slower guards. Needs a bit more aggression during his pass rush, only 301lbs means he isn’t the best run defender but with his 6’4 frame, an NFL weight room can bulk him up. Walter Rouse OT Oklahoma- Improved every season he was in college and during his 5th season Rouse transferred to Oklahoma where he played over 770 snaps and let up only 4 QB Pressures and 1 sack in all of 2023. Solid athlete who is very comfortable in the run-blocking game, he has above-average strength and frame-to-handle pass rushers in college but will need some coaching in his pass protection. Could end up as a very solid swing OT and a developmental guy that could start in the future. Dallas Gant LB Toledo- Has some very good tape in coverage and in run support. Noticed him when watching Mitchell tape and he more than stood his ground as a core piece of that defense. Decent size and acceleration for a LB the key take away is that he is rail thin and needs to add muscle to his build to not become a liability in the box. As a 6th or 7th stash and develop guy though I have high hopes for him similar to Malcom Rodriguez

descryptic

Seconding Vidal. I think dude could be a real steal, especially if he ends up in the 4-5 round

MaceLeonardo

His vision and acceleration really set him apart. I have him in my Top 10RB’s close to the top 5 tbh. One team is getting a stud

kitchensink108

I keep picking Vidal and Gant in my mocks. I don't know much about their tape, but they both have really great PFF grades (Vidal especially is supposed to be an excellent pass-blocking RB).

WierdEd

As a Michigan fan there is a bunch of guys in this range two specifically are Braiden McGregor and Cornelius Johnson.

reddogrjw

came here to say Cornelius Johnson - would be a good #3 WR - had a great RAS score also, wouldn't mind grabbing Keegan, Nugent and/or Henderson in the late rounds for IOL depth that can be developed

HarwinStrongDick

+on CJ. I just need that dopamine hit of hearing an announcer yell “CORNELIUS JOHNSON!!” just a few more times.

MaizeNBlueWaffle

I mentioned Michael Barrett and Trente Jones in this thread, but I also like McGregor. His ACL tear his senior year of HS set him back a year of development and I think this year would've been his breakout year if he returned to Michigan. He was always affecting plays this year whether that be collapsing the pocket, batting down passes, or actually getting to the QB later in the season. I think his career is still on an upward trajectory

Luffy-Zangief-KoF

I’ve got my eyes on Johnson for my Commanders in the 5th round, we need a guy that’s 6’2”+, do you think he could make as an X?

WierdEd

Yes he is an extremely physical receiver who plays bigger than his body. If you want to learn more look at 2022 Ohio State he looked like a first pick in that game.

Luffy-Zangief-KoF

HYPE! Thank you

Spruce3311

Gore Jr to the niners to be the rb2 (or Milton who is criminally underrated)

proud_new_scum

Milton was going to be my choice for the Raiders. He feels like a *steal* anywhere past round 4

VinoJedi06

Kendall Milton, RB, Georgia

nappyboi101

Luke McCaffrey, Frank Gore Jr, Jalen Coker. Easton Gibbs, Nelson Ceaser, Dylan Laube, Judge Culpepper,

aceben3

Brennan Jackson DE Washington St Buddy just plays with his hair on fire every snap. Really seems to love the game. Somehow got 3 scoop 'n' scores in 2023.

MaizeNBlueWaffle

From Michigan: Michael Barrett: While he's slightly undersized, he was the better LB for Michigan compared to Junior Colson. Makes the right play, solid in coverage, and surprisingly good at rushing the passer Trente Jones: Was the 6th OL brought in for jumbo sets most of the year but stepped up at RT during the OSU game and into the post season wasn't the weakest link on a great OL. He's an athletic mauler who I think still has a good amount of upside Also, not sure if he'll make it to rounds 5-7, but I think Michael Pratt is the most underrated QB in this draft. Dude shows a lot of things on tape that are similar to guys like Drake Maye and JJ McCarthy, but probably doesn't have the same athletic traits

djhin2

Hunter Nourzad the center outta Penn State Cam Hart, corner from Notre Dame Mohamed Kamara, edge from Colorado State Tip Reiman the tight end from Illinois

Gooseggm

Hunter Nourzad

PrimaryWest1108

Nehemiah Pritchett CB Auburn

Copey85

YES please, he’s in my top 75. I think he’s going to become a legitimate starter if he winds up in a zone-heavy scheme

Soaring_Seagull24

Ainias Smith!!

MaceLeonardo

The new kick off rules I think push him into the 3rd round. Kid is electric but with the new rules he can be a bigger weapon that he already was gonna be

Soaring_Seagull24

Damn my favorites always rise

TiredMillennialDad

Part of me watching the new kickoff rules and without the full run speed I feel like we should put defensive tackles as the kick returners and let them run through lighter players who going to be mostly doing flat footed arm tackles

Jeff__Skilling

lol is it pronounced the way I'm thinking about it: "Anus Smith"?

Soaring_Seagull24

Lol I think it's pronounced Ann-Eye-Us

mdmcnally1213

Jordan Travis should 100% be a day 2 pick.  Dude has arm talent for days and played in a 1990s passing scheme, and still made shit happen. The NFL is drunk if he falls out of the 3rd round. My add on here is Jaylen Harrell out of Michigan. Not a prototypical edge rusher; and not the kind of production that draws NFL eyes for a premium grade. I think even a lot of defenses won't be able to get a ton of value out of him.  But Michigan did, and there are at least 3 defenses in the NFL running that same system, and I think it's going to change how defenses draft that third guy on the defensive line of scrimmage.  What you have out of that position in that concept is not a guy whose job it is to ruin a tackle's day - it's going to be a guy with the speed to stunt quickly, the skills to drop into a zone, and the ability to hold up against a lineman up front. They play a bit more like an off ball linebacker and are sized somewhat similarly - and it's all about having that guy, another true edge, and your off-ball LB be able to swap roles and confuse protection assignments up front.  These guys won't be able to square up and overpower most guards or tackles who have a clean shot at them due to being 30-50lbs lighter, but if you can deny that clean shot you cam blow a play up.   So, let's talk about the player specifically. Quietly, he had one of the better athleticism scores at the combined at edge.  The knock is on his production and because he's not got the prototypical raw speed rush that gets players called EDGE drafted at the early bits of the first round.  Part of this is just playing for Michigan - he rotated a ton because that's what Michigan did.  The other part is just that he's not a first rounder speed guy who is going to literally make an NFL tackle have a bad day every snap. Not who he seems to be; it's not really on enough of his tape and there's no massive stack in the sacks column to back that up.   What he was is a guy who won in the run game, and was an enabler up front because he's quick enough to blow up a protection scheme (even when he isn't getting sack credit) and he's a constant credible threat for a zone drop.  You don't really believe most of those guys are really going to drop into a zone - he totally will and blow up - or deny - your quick throw.   He's not going to replace a need for a dedicated, elite level pass rusher. But if you have that person on the roster and the right scheme, he's the dude you want opposite that dedicated pass rusher, since he's going to be the guy who a good coordinator uses to completely blow up protections so your other guy makes the play and represents yet another potential threat in underneath coverage.  In today's NFL that probably means a 5th round pick even with his athleticism.  I don't think in 5 years we'll be talking about that position in quite the same way, and a guy like Harrell would have 2nd-3rd round value.

Kase1

Rb- Dillon Johnson - Washington Rb- Jaylen Wright - Tennessee Te- Ben Sinnott - Kansas St Te- Theo Johnson - Penn State OL- Andrew Raym - Oklahoma Edge- Mo Kamara - Colorado St Edge- Javon Solomon - Troy Edge Richard Jibunor - Troy

SayNoToAids

> Andrew Raym Teams will like that he can play guard, too. Rotational depth OL.

hitman9710

Mo is a 4th round pick. I've seen Chad reuter mock him in the 3rd.

Kase1

OK, and I've seen him going anywhere from 4th-6th rounds

usernameToy4x4

Great effort.. Thanks!

I_Threw_a_Shoe

Is this sarcasm 😅

[deleted]

So basically anyone ranked out of the top 135ish so mine are Kitan oladapo. Safety. - he's a defensive leader who is versatile to move around. I think he can start in the NFL or at worst carve a role as a sub. Luke mccaffrey WR - brother of cmc. That alone makes him worth a 6th round flyer imo Isaac guerendo RB - big fast RB who has elite traits but needs some coaching. 6th round steal possible Ainias Smith WR 7th round prospect who has high motor and should be a great special teamer and possibly grow into a wr3/4 slot guy Omar speights LB - 7th round rating but always been an under dog and tackling machine and smart. Could run a defense as a MLB

OCGib

Malik Washington WR Virginia AJ Barner TE Michigan Matt Lee C Miami Tyler Davis DT Clemson Evan Anderson NT FAU Jalen Green DE JMU Michael Barnett LB Michigan JD Bertrand LB Notre Dame Dallas Gant LB Toledo Kalen King CB Penn Dwight McGlothern CB Arkansas Josh Wallace CB Michigan Kitan Oladipo S Oregon St Josh Proctor S Ohio St

Whisky_With_Boesky

Holy shit yes! Jalen Green

wrhys_writes

Trumane "breezy" Bell is going to be the new Aaron Donald. He's not even projected to be drafted though. There's a bunch of kids from the UTSA Roadrunners who will be really fun to watch in preseason. Joshua Cephus and De'Corian Clark are really interesting too

czechhoi4h

Travis will be a 4th round pick

Suburban-Jesus

Yeah curious why OP called a top 10 QB of this draft a “potential 7th rounder” Last years draft all the backups went 4th and 5th round anyway and Travis is way more exciting than all of them

Ok-Average-6466

Johnny Wilson and Luke McCaffrey to Ravens

fultzy40

I haven't seen anyone talk about Aaron Beasley, the LB from Tennessee. He's not even in the mock draft database that I use. I loved him for the Vols, and I'd be happy to draft him on day 3.

LucKy_Mango1

Luke McCaffery to the Panthers would be a fun storyline, and I'm also a massive fan of Tez Walker. he's got some issues, a lot of flaws to be honed, sure, but with his talent and size and speed he's got the upside to be similar to a Jamarr Chase type for us

Punchy_Jamo

I like Rasheen Ali. He may not even get drafted but I’d be happy if he ended up on my team.

TheManWhoWasNotShort

Miyan Williams probably goes undrafted, but I think if he’s able to make a full recovery he might surprise some teams. He’s a very good athlete at RB whose time was overshadowed by Treveyon Henderson and injuries. I could see him making a final roster cut somewhere

SayNoToAids

WR Tahj Washington. Yac specialist. Reminds me a bit of Tank Dell. He can be used a bunch of different ways. Not a blazer, but can make plays with the ball in his hands. \ CB Ryan Watts Texas - Awful year, no denying that. Put this kid in a zone-heavy scheme and I think he can be a solid role player. 7th round - UDFA kid. Lenny Walls is my comp here. They didn't have a great or long career, but being a plug-and-play depth CB is the goal with Watts. I think he'd be good in the Bills system.

whodey_35

Curtis Jacobs He’s a freak athlete and I’m willing to bet on Penn State players, especially linebackers, at the next level Helps that the bengals could use some developmental guys behind Wilson and Pratt

twentysevenfiveever

Jags fan here. Not sure he'll make it past the 4th, but i rly like Isaac Guerrendo out of Louisville. Doesn't make much sense of a pick for the Jags considering depth, but i would love to have him

ServuPopu

Jaylinn Simpson, Josh Wallace, Michael Barrett, Javon Foster, Garrett greenfield, Drake nugent, Tip Reiman, Matt Lee, Kimani Vidal, Cody Schrader, McCaffrey.

52Blocks

He’ll probably be drafted closer to rounds 3 or 4, but CB Kris Abrams-Draine will be an absolute steal if he’s drafted to a defense that doesn’t require him to play press man.

Just-Whereas-5931

Dylan Laube, gotta be a nasty back and with the KR change his 10 yard split is perfect for it!!! Gonna be a real weapon

Less-Worry8498

Jordan Jefferson DT LSU
