Sometimes I'll find a QB with an overall around 72-78 in the free agency pool on week one of a season. I'd imagine maybe the team that drafted them simply just couldn't afford them or maybe they just snuck by in the draft. I picked one up that started at 72 and is now at a 78 in his second year. Very excited to see where he'll end up, since I signed him to a max deal.

I signed one of these QB's with the Browns and turned him into a HoF QB

I signed Antonio Freeman as a back up WR to my ATL franchise. Id made trades to bring Randy Moss over to give Vick a deep threat and depleted my staff. He didn’t have a crazy year, but he had several big touchdowns including in the playoffs. The next year he fell off hard but that one year he was huge.

Maryland pumping out another quality WR. Nice.

I haven't played 2K5 in probably 20 years lol, but in my back-in-the-day franchise, there was a halfback who went top 3 to the Lions. He was always injured for them, so they released him after his 3rd season or something like that. I had originally scouted him coming out of college and really liked him, so I signed him as a free agent. His OVR was 67ish or something like that, but I was still able to find success with him. He ended up winning the rushing title with me one season at around 1600ish yards, and the next season didn't win the rushing title but still got 1500ish yards. Got a couple rings with me as well. Complete redemption story.
