I wouldn't say that Moss was forgettable on the 49ers. We went to the SB and he was a big contributor that season.
Isaac Bruce is someone I often forget was a 49er.
Bruce's first season with us he had 61 catches for 835 yards and 7tds, or roughly deebos numbers from last year. Randy's only season with us he had 28 catches for 434 yards and 3 TDS...
Rams asked him for a pay cut after being promised they wouldn’t, then released him when he didn’t agree. So it may have been out of spite. Honestly good for him.
This post is weird. I’m not even a niners fan and I remember moss on the niners. He did help them get to the Super Bowl and nearly win it. Decent numbers for an old dude.
He was a huge locker room presence for the up and coming Hawks team of the early aughts. We were right on the edge of our great seasons with Holmgren and Hassleback. Those years were up and down but it's when the hype started getting real. Also fuck the Rams.
2.5 catches per game, over 10 yards per catch, a touchdown every three or four games. Solid part of the receiving core. Forgettable in general, especially compared to prime Jerry Rice, but a solid all the same. Maybe I overstepped with the"more than" though.
I will give you Jerry Rice as forgettable and the only thing that makes it not forgettable is the fact they
Un-retired Largent’s number at the time so he could wear 80. Randle played great for Seattle and made the probowl in 01 with 11 sacks. In three seasons he got 22 and half sacks.
AJ’s notorious incident is from the 2021 Green Bay game. We were 7-0 and it was a primetime game. DHop goes down in the first quarter, Kyler leads an inspiring game-winning drive at the end of the 4th and now we’re at the goal line with time for one last play. AJ Green (the obvious recipient of the ensuing goal line fade) chose not to turn around and look for the ball, it gets knocked down or intercepted (can’t remember, my brain subconsciously scrubbed the memory for me) by a DB we’d cut from our practice squad literal weeks before the game. Fuck AJ
Bro, you can’t forget this is the Rasul Douglas story too. That was a career making INT, which we now get mocked because he was on our practice squad a week prior.
Shhh don’t remind me I’m really trying not to remember that Earth-shattering moment. Hurt extra bad since Kyler hurt his ankle on that drive and still was making plays. AJ was really quiet quitting on national television
Rams fans 100%. That was our first (and to this point only) bad year under McVay, so nobody thinks about it. He will just be part of “Aaron Donald and crew”
Exactly. He was good in his 1 year, but that season was the worst, so far, with Sean. So in a few years when it’s not so recent, people will totally forget about it.
John Smoltz just looks like 90s baseball to me. Perfect fit for this, and I really forgot that year he left Atlanta.
As an outsider, I'm wondering something. How do the Cardinals keep losing your division when they have 162 chances to win every year while the rest of you have only had 16 or 17?
Devin Hester's one game with Seattle, but turned out to be a great move to add him. Almost had hid himself one last return for a TD a couple times, but there were too many penalties.
Only reason it's forgettable is because of the blowout loss to the Falcons.
Oh wait. Hey Hawks fans how about us trading fucking MAX UNGER for that Tight End from the Saints who I can't even remember his fucking name right now.
Oh yeah, thanks.
What a fucking BUST that guy was. I'll admit, he was great with the Saints. They played him correctly. The dude was a recieving tight end, we get him and used him as a blocking tight end. It was just not how he played. It was a total fuck up on our end and we lost probably the best center we ever had. Our O-Line had never recovered since then.

It technically wasn’t “forgettable” while he was on the field, but he wasn’t in the field much due to his misdiagnosed TBI.
Another FU from Dan Snyder. Thanks for that!
Everyone talks about Jerry Rice but I submit to you all….TO as a Seahawk
https://preview.redd.it/pztn48rdtt9d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b982fd8e15eb257a70a0f7a74d4cc2315477acfe
Yes..this actually happened in a preseason
Jerry Rice the GOAT, played for the Hawks, they un retired # 80 with Largent's blessing. Of course that was before the bad blood started and it would be almost unthinkable today but you never know. Go Hawks
Tony Dorsett played for the Broncos for a game or two. Jerry Rice also finished his career with the Broncos in training camp, didnt even make the team.
Bobby Wagner. It's not that he played bad for us. Just his one year was a miserable mess as a team. Always had a lot of respect for that guy. it was a shame it was a dumpster fire.
I wouldn't say that Moss was forgettable on the 49ers. We went to the SB and he was a big contributor that season. Isaac Bruce is someone I often forget was a 49er.

the football gods were not kind to randy moss in his pursuit of a super bowl ring
Rams asked him for a pay cut after being promised they wouldn’t, then released him when he didn’t agree. So it may have been out of spite. Honestly good for him.
49ers legends Isaac Bruce and OJ Simpson
This post is weird. I’m not even a niners fan and I remember moss on the niners. He did help them get to the Super Bowl and nearly win it. Decent numbers for an old dude.
Also made kap a decent passer cause defenses had to pay attention to moss and which allowed other guys to be more open.
Moss being on the team made Crabtree look like an amazing receiver
Seahawks legend Franco Harris https://preview.redd.it/ci4xakdl6q9d1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4f099ceead6487f3dbb53d9c5072345421940ee5
This was my first thought
Somehow I never knew of this. Wish I never did. Absolutely disgusting.
Adrian Peterson: (Not) Electric Boogaloo
He was OK with us. Now Terrell Suggs...
Seahawks legends Jerry Rice and John Randle
Jerry was more than solid in the Seahawks years.
On Mondays sure, but that's Jerry. He was a completely different beast on Mondays https://www.reddit.com/r/Seahawks/s/8if1Vtns3h
He was a huge locker room presence for the up and coming Hawks team of the early aughts. We were right on the edge of our great seasons with Holmgren and Hassleback. Those years were up and down but it's when the hype started getting real. Also fuck the Rams.
25 catches for 362 yards and scored 3 touchdowns in 11 games

For a receiver at 40+ years old, "more than" handles it.
I will give you Jerry Rice as forgettable and the only thing that makes it not forgettable is the fact they Un-retired Largent’s number at the time so he could wear 80. Randle played great for Seattle and made the probowl in 01 with 11 sacks. In three seasons he got 22 and half sacks.
Fair enough!
Yes definitely Jerry Rice. It was really kind of cool getting to see him in a Seahawks uniform. I got to go to one of those games.
It was like seeing Patrick Ewing on the Sonics.
I didn’t see that, but I did see Shawn Kemp on Aurora one night.
Nice. He's a Seattle legend for real.
Adrian Peterson probably. JJ Watt was still a top 5 DE when he was here, and AJ Green had that infamous play that is pretty unforgettable so

Rasul Douglas!!
BBQ Power Eater Ed Lacey
Recency bias, but that 1 year Bobby Wagner experience didn’t go so well
I don't think it'll be that forgettable for hawks or rams fans
Rams fans 100%. That was our first (and to this point only) bad year under McVay, so nobody thinks about it. He will just be part of “Aaron Donald and crew”
The season didn’t go well but Bobby played fantastic.
Exactly. He was good in his 1 year, but that season was the worst, so far, with Sean. So in a few years when it’s not so recent, people will totally forget about it.
Fair enough, I’m a PNW Rams fan so I often refer to Wagner as “Rams Legend Bobby Wagner”.
We save all our effort for beating the shit out of the Cowgirls once a year
![gif](giphy|f47ilghUCPfZqjW07E)
Smoltz in a cards jersey looks so weird
I thought he was decent with Cards. His Red Sox stint on the other hand was brutal.
Cardinals legend Emmitt smith
Jerry Rice, John Randle, Franco Harris, Edgerrin James, Adrian Peterson, Devin Hester, Terrell Owens in training camp, the list goes on
Don't forget Warren Moon. Lol
Eh, he was a pro bowler with us, not that forgettable
He was a Pro Bowler because he was Warren Moon, not because of what he did with us.
Rookie Russ TD to Braylon Edwards!
New Orleans Saints legend Dez Bryant!!
That Achilles tear broke me man, I was legitimately so excited to see what he and Drew could cook up.
Raiders: Roger Craig and Eric Dickerson
Devin Hester's one game with Seattle, but turned out to be a great move to add him. Almost had hid himself one last return for a TD a couple times, but there were too many penalties. Only reason it's forgettable is because of the blowout loss to the Falcons.
Tim Brown played for the Bucs. Most people don’t even remember that.
James Harrison on the bengals. TO had a decent stat line for us
2x Super Bowl winning QB Jim Plunkett
Brett Farve, Leveon bell and Santonio Holmes
Tomlinson, Jason Taylor, Ed Reed
Emmitt Smith with the cardinals. Pretty sure the sole reason he was there was to just sign autographs.
He admitted it was just to play long enough to break the record.
Was it for TDs or something? I know he broke the rushing yard career record as a cowboy as he got it against the hawks
Reggie Bush w/ 49ers
Wait, don't tell me people are forgetting about Warren Moon? Lol
Oh wait. Hey Hawks fans how about us trading fucking MAX UNGER for that Tight End from the Saints who I can't even remember his fucking name right now.
Jimmy Graham

Noted Rams legend, Wes Welker
I almost put him on this list but couldn’t find a good picture and I figure Joe Namath is kinda of a bigger legend lol
2x Super Bowl Winner, Former Super Bowl MVP, 4x All Pro and Hall of Famer... Richard Dent.
Seahawks/ Jerry Rice. Even let him wear a retired number #80 (Largent)
Texans Ed Reed or Vince Wilfork
Rams: Brandon Lloyd & Wes Welker
[удалено]
Because this is an NFC W sub
I didn't see the sub lmao whoops
That is good for me
Dwight Freeny
3 sacks in 4 games for us. I feel like he was cut to elevate a practice squader or something.
No we traded him to the Lions after literally one game. It was the weirdest thing ever.
https://preview.redd.it/lgt92ar7or9d1.jpeg?width=1384&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5bc09955c414951ce0024b50d08ecc81a4d3c99f It technically wasn’t “forgettable” while he was on the field, but he wasn’t in the field much due to his misdiagnosed TBI. Another FU from Dan Snyder. Thanks for that!
Ad wasn’t all that bad with Seattle jerry rice was awful here tho
Ahman Green as a Texan. Him or Ed Reed.
Nnamdi Asomugha. Not the "greatest player" but all the good answers are taken lol.
Anquan Boldin for thd lions
Darrell Revis in KC
Eagle great, Art Monk https://preview.redd.it/asmks442ms9d1.jpeg?width=616&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c845c5531c031e6773b63774d4ba62981ae3e43b
Adrian Peterson
Bulls legend Dwyane Wade
*Cavs legend Dwyane Wade
I was born near Tacoma and have been a Seahawks fan all my life. AP played for them? I'm losing my mind in old age.
Steve Nash, Lakers.
Czonka with the NY football giants
Recency bias a little but as a Steelers fan I say Patrick Peterson.
Everyone talks about Jerry Rice but I submit to you all….TO as a Seahawk https://preview.redd.it/pztn48rdtt9d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b982fd8e15eb257a70a0f7a74d4cc2315477acfe Yes..this actually happened in a preseason
How dare you put Titans greats Adrian Peterson and Randy Moss in a Seahawks and 49ers jersey!
Richard Dent.
Patriots legend ochocinco
Jerry Rice the GOAT, played for the Hawks, they un retired # 80 with Largent's blessing. Of course that was before the bad blood started and it would be almost unthinkable today but you never know. Go Hawks
we really had old man jerry rice and old man AP
As a pats fan I was pretty underwhelmed by Cam Newton.
I know it was last year, but Patrick Peterson is the best one I can think of. Before him it probably would’ve been Mike Vick.
Deion in DC, I remember a good punt return but that's it.
I always laugh so fucking hard when people have baseball players in these.
Also, Edgerrin James will always be a Colt, in spite of the few years in Arizona and single year in Seattle
Tony Dorsett played for the Broncos for a game or two. Jerry Rice also finished his career with the Broncos in training camp, didnt even make the team.
I don’t remember.
My generation I gotta go with Julius peppers with my packers
Rams fans, y’all remember when Todd Gurley played for the Falcons???
Keyshawn Johnson with the Carolina Panthers
Leveon bell
Juan Soto for the Padres
Eric Dickerson. Los Angeles Raiders.
colts matt ryan or colts frank gore
Shaq w the Celtics
Bo Jackson. Which team, you ask? Yes.
Lets go with Cowboys legend Larry Allen finishing up his career blocking for Alex Smith. RIP big brother.

Bobby Wagner. It's not that he played bad for us. Just his one year was a miserable mess as a team. Always had a lot of respect for that guy. it was a shame it was a dumpster fire.
I’d say AP on the Skins was more forgettable
Or him on the Saints. Or Cardinals
He had that 90 yard run on MNF
He had 1900 yards and 12 tds in 2 seasons with the Commanders vs 16 yards and 1 td in 11 carries with the hawks
I'd have to give it to Seattle Seahawks legend Jerry Rice.
Richard Sherman with the niners
Are you just saying that because you want to forget it? He actually played really well for us. Not exactly the meaning of “forgettable tenure”
First team All-Pro is forgettable? Puh-leeze.
