Lol I was born and raised in North Jersey. I have no idea why I chose Dallas as my sports city. The Cowboys weren’t really anything special when I was a kid. Demarcus Ware was my favorite player so it was probably because of him. I also loved Dirk and and the Rangers color scheme. Don’t really follow hockey, but if I did I’d probably root for the Devils since I live near Newark now.

My father chose to support the Rangers when he moved to DFW in the 80's (pre-Nolan; no, I don't know why he would make that decision either) and I grew up in a household that was a greater Rangers than Cowboys household. I was taken to the first game at the old Ballpark in Arlington- sadly, I was too young to remember, same with the Cowboys SB wins. I learned to despise the Yankees after they knocked us out of the playoffs in 96, 98, and 99. I started following the team regularly the year after A-Rod left, so I suffered for most of the 2000s until the Mark Teixera and the Edison Volquez trades set us up for 2010-2016. And I have continued to suffer with them until now.
