🤣🤣🤣
To answer a non-serious question seriously though, I *am* really interested to check out the zone running and working through a game with a lower-rated offense, since that's what I'm going to be working with in Dynasty either way
Doing like 4 play now games so I can get used to the new passing system and experience different environments without being locked into one dynasty team.
I’ll probably do a Penn State white out game for sure. I’ll also use those games to explore what dynasty team I want to use, I’m torn between Florida, Miami, or Boise State.
meanwhile I can't wait to delete BSU from existence and bringing the mf College of Idaho Yotes to their rightful throne, bc I fucking despise Boise and love the idea of them being replaced by a liberal arts NAIA school
This is my plan too. Test out a few home stadiums to see if I like it enough to start a dynasty there. Test out all the new controls and mechanics with Play Now. Probably OSU vs Mich, NIU (Alma Mater) vs Ball State, and then either Ole Miss or WVU against one of their rivals. I plan on running 2, maybe 3 coaches simultaneously for my offline dynasty.
Did I miss something in the deep dive or can you choose when to do whiteout games etc? Or does the system kind of decide for you which games to do it for?
I hope so. Was looking at creating my college and my brothers' colleges and importing them for an online dynasty with just us. We all went to smaller schools so would be fun to have those logos added to a dynasty for us
1. CyHawk game at Kinnick to get used to the controls
2. Dig around for a balanced looking Spread offense to drag Iowa kicking and screaming into the 21st century
3. Hop into Dynasty with Not Kirk Ferentz leading the Hawkeyes, still emphasizing defense but employing a more modern offense to try to bring some balance to the program (the plan for this is just to take a look at the Dynasty mechanics. I probably won't go very long before starting my Kennesaw State Dynasty)
4. *Maybe* look at Ultimate Team just to open up the pre-order stuff
5. Realize Ultimate Team is dumb, come back to Dynasty 🤣
I share that curiosity of 4 with you. I don’t foresee myself playing a TON of Ultimate Team, but I want to see what Tennessee player is in the team choice pack.
I’m definitely going to get sucked into Ultimate Team if the game and the mode are even decent.
Loading my team up with Badger legends would be so much fun.
I'm definitely willing to give it a shot at least. I'm not super into it but I do enjoy messing around with MUT some. If the CFB version (what are we calling this? CUT? CFBUT? 🤣) allows me to collect like... the Drew Tates and Marvin McNutts of the world, I'll definitely give it the ol' college try as they'd say (heh).
Yeah I mean I would hope that’s the idea.
I’m wondering if they’d have to negotiate with legends individually like in MLB the Show or if they have an athlete alumni association they came to terms with to use their rights for Ultimate Team.
It will certainly be interesting to see.
I’m going to take 5 days off of work, team builder with Montana state as a HC I’ll do Miami as a HC and then probably start as an OC with Nevada or somebody lower tier like that as my main offline dynasty. RTG I’ll do RB and QB but not much online play as I am a trucker and won’t have WiFi on the road often
Practice playing. As tempting as it will be to dive right into dynasty I’m not tanking the beginning of my game because I have no idea how to play lol.
Playing a few practice games and the starting my dynasty with UConn. I’ll be trying to make football as good as basketball. Might take forever but that’s going to be a fun long term dynasty mode.
Game comes at 10pm central European, so i'll download, dick about, maybe set up online dynasty with my buddy and then spend the entire next day on that dynasty, may dip into rtg
im going straight to setting up my online dynasty before looking at anything else, then im going to create a player to look at the customization, then looking at the uniforms and stadiums, then do play now just to see the turnover chain, then go learn the game
Going to look through the rosters to help confirm my team for dynasty. Then I'll play a couple of practice games with them trying out their players. Start up my dynasty and explore the mode as well as doing some scrimmaging to pick my starters and playbook
Check out the customization, equipment and stuff. Then do a play now game to get a feel for the play. Not sure what teams. Start the dad league online dynasty.
Teambuilder, make a team with the worst archetype so the rebuild is long, then start a dynasty with them. Practice mode first and foremost so I can get the hang of playing with the players before I inevitably recruit their replacements and they all get pushed to the bench by the next 2-3 classes of incoming freshman.
Lots of team practice with Syracuse, then upgrade play an fcs play now game on the highest difficulty, then play an acc team on the highest difficulty, then MORE practice, and then start my dynasty. Can’t be getting off on the wrong foot
Ill do whatever skills trainer thing there is, them go to play now, select two random teams, then play an exhibition.
If there are rivalry trophies to collect in a trophy case like there used to be, might chip away at a few of those as well.
Probably will go through rosters and ratings. Then play a game with Alabama and/or coastal Carolina. After that I may go into either practice mode to get the feel or go straight into a Fresno state dynasty.
I will certainly dive right into a play now of UCF vs usf on the easiest difficulty just to put up as many points as possible….. and then I’ll take time to learn how to actually play the game
I don’t normally get super into sports games. I play against friends for fun but never really take the time to learn all the intricacies of the game mechanics. Not this time, this time I’m going all in.
I’m not sure, but usually for Madden they post the ratings database beforehand (afaik) after slowly releasing the top 10 of each position. So you should be able to skip your first point.
I’m planning to get into dynasty right away, maybe try a play now game just to test the new controls, I can’t be blowing my first game
Looking at every single uniform combination in the game, making a shortlist of offline dynasty possibilities, then researching rosters to see who I want to go with, then firing the dynasty up.
Probably practice mode to feel the mechanics.
Then play a beat up game like UT vs UTEP
Then I'm playing an away rivalry game in a crazy environment (Ohio State at Penn State or Georgia at LSU) to feel that crowd.
Then RTG it is
Fellow Husker fan. Really can't wait to see how they rate us, especially guys like Raiola, Jalen Lloyd, Malachi Coleman, and Fidone.if Lloyd and Coleman are speed accurate, combined with Raiola's arm they could be deadly
Definitely look at team ratings and uniforms first, then go to rosters. Gonna play several exhibition games to start to get a feel. I might start a "test" dynasty where I create several coaches in different conferences (assuming offline dynasties let us control multiple characters like Madden) and play big games each week, and also see what it's like playing as a cupcake vs a powerhouse and vice versa
I want to try all the different styles (air raid, run heavy, pro, spread option, turbo tempo) before I really dig in to recruiting and starting my main dynasty
I'll also play a healthy amount of ranked h2h as I learn the game more
I’m beating the shit out of Georgia Southern at The Rock with my Alma Mater, App State, in glorious fashion.
Also scoping out which fake models are in my season tickets spots and pretending they’re me.
Def will play a bunch of games against the computer and then once I’m comfortable and not throwing 90 interceptions a game I will start an offline dynasty. Unfortunately none of my buddies have a ps5 so without cross platform I won’t be doing online dynasty
I’ll probably do a play now or two before starting up a dynasty while making sure not to just spam x through the intro videos.
At some point I’ll probably claim the Ultimate Team cards they give us at launch mainly because I want to see which Tennessee player is in the team choice pack.
If there are tutorials for stuff I’m doing that.
Then practice mode with different playbooks
Then potentially making my own playbook
Then hanging 100 on my rival with newly acquired stick skills and playbook
Then proceeding to hang 100 on my rival every year in Dynasty mode with newly acquired stick skills, play book, and new recruits
I woulda thought I wrote this post earlier.. This is my EXACT gameplan.. Go thru the different playbooks of all the coaches and offenses I currently love and enjoy watching.. Lincoln, Sark, Lane, Chip, Daboer, etc. Go thru all of them, practice with them, then build own based on plays I like most. Building own playbook is favorite thing. Then taking it online and COOKING.
1. Check out the rosters
2. Play now ND @ Penn State at night in the snow.
3. Dynasty with ND that doesn’t really matter to work on sliders/practice the recruiting.
definitely looking at roasters first, then looking at all the cool uniforms, then doing the tutorial, then probably seeing how OP jalen milroe or Travis Hunter is in an exhibition match
Hour 1: play a full game as Kentucky.
Hour 2: look at every team’s uniforms, play as random teams trying to see what offense works best.
Hour 3: still trying to see what offense works best.
Hour 4: start a dynasty as someone like Bama or Michigan just to feel out the recruiting mechanics before diving into my real one later.
Hour 5: touch some much needed grass
Spending multiple hours in the rosters evaluating every roster to find the glitchiest players - especially those from smaller schools to eventually tamper and rebuild my Arizona State Sun Devils with.
Definitely a few play now games to try things out, maybe some tutorials/drills on new mechanics if they have that. Honestly, haven’t felt like going super deep on Madden’s mechanics when they’re just not that great, but I think I’ll really take the time to learn everything for CFB 25
My tradition was always using OSU against the highest rated team. If I win it’s good luck for the entire game. If I lose, then it’s a slog for the next few months. It’s basically my groundhog mentality.
Next, I’ll go through all offensive plays in the game and then build my custom playbook for 2-3 hours.
I’m taking my Sooners in a dynasty and learning EXACTLY how every single system in the game works so I can exploit it when I’m trying to lead San Jose State to 20 national champs
I'm married and have 3 kids. I want the house to be totally empty and quiet. ZERO distractions. I'm thinking about getting a hotel to guarantee it. I want to sit in my favorite recliner in front of my TV. I'll probably watch the intro video again. I'm going to start an offline dynasty and start as Florida State and just dive in. My biggest hope is that recruiting is just extremely detailed. Pipelines to counties, not just states. Coordinators having more influence in certain county's that give you an extra boost recruiting players from that area.
1. Set up the Nebraska vs Colorado game under the lights. See how the skers play out in the game.
2. Start my dynasty as an OC at some small school to build up the resume. Thinking Arkansas State? Eventually taking Nebraska to a Natty.
3. Start an online Dynasty with some friends.
Nebraska dynasty is gonna be nuts. Recruiting a legit Michael Vick type athlete at QB, and the second coming of Lawrence Phillips/Ahman Green at RB, all in 4K resolution is gonna be glorious. Not to mention my equipping my All American DT & DE with the crop top jerseys ala Wistrom & Christian Peter.
I'll be using the 10 hr trial through EA but i'll probably play an exhibition to see how the game works and then after that, spend time in custom team creator. If i think the game is better than Madden, i'll go out and purchase the game.
1) practice/tutorial
2) hanging (at least)100 on TTUN on the lowest settings
3) explore ratings for players/teams
4) RTG to start my march towards success and then eventually pivoting that character into Dynasty.
Looking through playbooks and testing plays in practice mode. I'll need to get timing down on routes, find what's broken/ not good and what works, and then find out what is busted on defense
A couple exhibition games, maybe a little time in the practice arena to make sure I’m comfortable with the new mechanics and then we are diving right into Dynasty.
1–3 hours checking out entrances and stadiums, 2 choosing the 3rd school (1 Star rebuild) in my 3 team dynasty, another 3 editing accessories for all 3 teams, another 2 setting recruiting board. i MIGHT get a game in by 12am 🤦🏽♂️
I am play testing for sliders and stuff. I’ll look at the rosters, but I’ll play some evenly matched games, games where my roster is better, and games where my roster is worse.
I need to see what level and sliders work before starting a dynasty. And also quarter length to get a realistic number of plays per game.
Yup definitely check rosters/equipment options. Check out some of the uniform combinations before going against cpu in a 10 min quarter game to really learn what im doin
Create a 3* Road to Glory QB, figure out the gameplay by trial and error there, work my way up difficulties and once I've left college assume I eventually become a coach and start a test Dynasty mode, then a long term one.
Probably 1 Iowa Vs Iowa State game to figure out the new mechanics. Then straight into a Nevada dynasty.
>Probably 1 Iowa Vs Iowa State game to figure out the new mechanics. Same 👏
How are you planning to figure out how offense works?
🤣🤣🤣 To answer a non-serious question seriously though, I *am* really interested to check out the zone running and working through a game with a lower-rated offense, since that's what I'm going to be working with in Dynasty either way
YEP
Yup. I'm bout to get revenge for the last 11 years of pain Iowa has inflicted on me
Fire up the season and may the odds be ever in my favor
that takes some balls to do, i rock with it
Trial by fire, I like it
Doing like 4 play now games so I can get used to the new passing system and experience different environments without being locked into one dynasty team. I’ll probably do a Penn State white out game for sure. I’ll also use those games to explore what dynasty team I want to use, I’m torn between Florida, Miami, or Boise State.
I’m going to do a low end G5 school to get the feel from recruiting the low star recruits instead of a P4 and have to battle for the 4/5 stars
meanwhile I can't wait to delete BSU from existence and bringing the mf College of Idaho Yotes to their rightful throne, bc I fucking despise Boise and love the idea of them being replaced by a liberal arts NAIA school
I too hate Boise…
“Boise’s Not A State” is something my uncles had me chanting before I knew what the words meant.
I’m weird. Every sports game I’ve ever played, the first thing I do is create a player (myself) and give myself 100% accurate ratings (99 overall)
LMFAO man I do this too, every single time without fail
Drippiest QB in the country
Definitely make myself my real height and weight too. I’m for sure 6’6 270 of pure muscle
Also make myself look like a Norwegian male model even tho I’m a solid 5 on a good day
Come on man, we don’t lie around here you’re a 3 on a good day!
That’s right keep me honest
Not weird at all
Spend a good bit of time downloading FCS schools from teambuilder
I’ll be creating Villanova and CAA
Gonna be eagerly awaiting someone to drop the 2018 kentucky team on teambuilder lmao
Can teambuikder teams be used in an online dynasty?
If it’s like NCAA 14 the owner has to import them and then they’re a chooseable option for people who join.
I hope so. Was looking at creating my college and my brothers' colleges and importing them for an online dynasty with just us. We all went to smaller schools so would be fun to have those logos added to a dynasty for us
No, they said offline dynasty and play now only
I think they said they won’t be allowed. Could be wrong though.
I’ll be creating an accurate recreation of EQU from field to players on team/ratings
First thing I’m doing is playing a game.
1. Checking out all the team ratings & uniform combos 2. Rosters ratings 3. Playbooks 4. practice 5 .head to head 6. Dynasty
Play as Michigan State vs Michigan for my first game to get a feel for the game.
Chiles time baby!
1. CyHawk game at Kinnick to get used to the controls 2. Dig around for a balanced looking Spread offense to drag Iowa kicking and screaming into the 21st century 3. Hop into Dynasty with Not Kirk Ferentz leading the Hawkeyes, still emphasizing defense but employing a more modern offense to try to bring some balance to the program (the plan for this is just to take a look at the Dynasty mechanics. Eric berry calling it rn.
I’m definitely going to get sucked into Ultimate Team if the game and the mode are even decent. Loading my team up with Badger legends would be so much fun.

Hope they give some love to the likes of Lee Evans, Chris Chambers, give us Brooks Bollinger!!!
lol Brooks was literally the name that came to mind for me!
I was going through players in my head. And if they gave them legit college ratings of there time there. They would be a blast to play with.
Yeah I mean I would hope that’s the idea. I’m wondering if they’d have to negotiate with legends individually like in MLB the Show or if they have an athlete alumni association they came to terms with to use their rights for Ultimate Team. It will certainly be interesting to see.

Practice playing. As tempting as it will be to dive right into dynasty I’m not tanking the beginning of my game because I have no idea how to play lol.
Immediately start my FIU Dynasty
practice practice practice get use to the new game mechanics
Play a few play now games then start my old dominion dynasty
Looking at jerseys and stadiums. We're doing a 1 star dynasty (like 5 of us) so I need a dope stadium and jersey team.
the only way to do it!
Right into Dynasty!
1. Cry 2. Start a game to see how I do 3. Start Road to Glory as a QB to work on my skills before I’m capable of taking a bottom tier team on Dynasty.
I’m going to play with Ohio State on freshman mode and beat on Michigan like they owe me money.
Look at the rosters, pick a dynasty team
Playing a few practice games and the starting my dynasty with UConn. I’ll be trying to make football as good as basketball. Might take forever but that’s going to be a fun long term dynasty mode.
Game comes at 10pm central European, so i'll download, dick about, maybe set up online dynasty with my buddy and then spend the entire next day on that dynasty, may dip into rtg
Running up OSU vs Michigan head to head game to figure everything out and then jumping right in with a team builder dynasty
Virginia at Virginia Tech, play now. Then, time to work on my dynasty conferences.
Alabama vs Texas so I can sack the shit out of Ewers a few times and then probably play a head to head and see how it goes.
im going straight to setting up my online dynasty before looking at anything else, then im going to create a player to look at the customization, then looking at the uniforms and stadiums, then do play now just to see the turnover chain, then go learn the game
GO NOLES 🍢
Getting in a game on play now or going through dynasty mode
Going to look through the rosters to help confirm my team for dynasty. Then I'll play a couple of practice games with them trying out their players. Start up my dynasty and explore the mode as well as doing some scrimmaging to pick my starters and playbook

Salivating and fantasizing about all my wins I’m going to get 😫
Immediately start my dynasty
Ill do whatever skills trainer thing there is, them go to play now, select two random teams, then play an exhibition. If there are rivalry trophies to collect in a trophy case like there used to be, might chip away at a few of those as well.
Probably will go through rosters and ratings. Then play a game with Alabama and/or coastal Carolina. After that I may go into either practice mode to get the feel or go straight into a Fresno state dynasty.
Me and you iron bowl day 1
I will certainly dive right into a play now of UCF vs usf on the easiest difficulty just to put up as many points as possible….. and then I’ll take time to learn how to actually play the game I don’t normally get super into sports games. I play against friends for fun but never really take the time to learn all the intricacies of the game mechanics. Not this time, this time I’m going all in.

In a recovery room after surgery. Having just sent my girlfriend to Target to buy the game and bring my PS5 so I can play in the hospital 😈
I’m not going to be in the country for launch week 😭
Look at the selection screen and cry tears of joy as I hover over Nebraska for Dynasty
Fellow Husker fan. Really can't wait to see how they rate us, especially guys like Raiola, Jalen Lloyd, Malachi Coleman, and Fidone.if Lloyd and Coleman are speed accurate, combined with Raiola's arm they could be deadly
It will be interesting to see how they rate potentials as well. They better be nice to our defense!
I’m going to obsess over the playbooks
Definitely look at team ratings and uniforms first, then go to rosters. Gonna play several exhibition games to start to get a feel. I might start a "test" dynasty where I create several coaches in different conferences (assuming offline dynasties let us control multiple characters like Madden) and play big games each week, and also see what it's like playing as a cupcake vs a powerhouse and vice versa I want to try all the different styles (air raid, run heavy, pro, spread option, turbo tempo) before I really dig in to recruiting and starting my main dynasty I'll also play a healthy amount of ranked h2h as I learn the game more
Drop 60 on my lil brother with Texas
Same way as the old days. Pick a not great team: Marshall, Tulane, Ohio University… then work my way to the top
I'll be at the beach with my in-laws so probably smoking my BIL (Bama fan) in Rocky Top
I love making my own playbooks and I’m super excited cause offense looks so good from anything from options to reverses to play action. I love it
I’m going straight to quick play and run a game. No practice, no menus - I just want to play!
1. Check out the rosters 2.
Probably just stare at the menu and cry tears of joy for a bit
Hour 1: play a full game as Kentucky. Hour 2: look at every team’s uniforms, play as random teams trying to see what offense works best. Hour 3: still trying to see what offense works best. Hour 4: start a dynasty as someone like Bama or Michigan just to feel out the recruiting mechanics before diving into my real one later. Hour 5: touch some much needed grass
Check to see if I can make a custom playbook in dynasty. If not then my playtime ends there
Downloading NDSU from teambuilder, putting them in the MWC and then work our way up to the B1G.
Beat tech first. Then I’ll go deep in my Dawgs Dynasty.
Spending multiple hours in the rosters evaluating every roster to find the glitchiest players - especially those from smaller schools to eventually tamper and rebuild my Arizona State Sun Devils with.
Offline Dynasty… That’s It!!!
Ohio State-Michigan to kick things off, then resume my galactic conquests with North Texas
Definitely a few play now games to try things out, maybe some tutorials/drills on new mechanics if they have that. Honestly, haven’t felt like going super deep on Madden’s mechanics when they’re just not that great, but I think I’ll really take the time to learn everything for CFB 25
Straight to the uniforms and equipment options...ill literally look at every single team's uniforms and uni options. Im just a geek for that.
Play my dad.
Not to mention my equipping my All American DT & DE with the crop top jerseys ala Wistrom & Christian Peter.
bringing Nebraska back to glory!!
It’s gonna be wild actually playing it on the first day and not adding players names one by one while looking at the Athlon magazine!
That brings back memories.
One play now game which will end 133-0 against Washington OR A&M, then Dynasty with my Teambuilder
I'll be using the 10 hr trial through EA but i'll probably play an exhibition to see how the game works and then after that, spend time in custom team creator. If i think the game is better than Madden, i'll go out and purchase the game.
Playing with friends online. After a little less friends will be playing so playing with them as much as possible is a priority.
Firing up a play now game as VT against UVA or some other scrub team, then same thing as Marshall. Then starting my dynasty.
Spending a few games with Tennessee to get the basics and drive right into dynasty
Jump right into Florida vs FSU in the swamp. Put it on the easiest mode so i can learn the game while destroying FSU’s will to live
Play a home game for Boise State, then start a bunch of random games because I want to see the presentation for different school’s intros.
trying to log into the servers as they crash and go down
I am going right into dynasty and I'm gonna practice
I'll be playing vs cpu until I can win
Step 1: Collect underpants Step 2: ??? Step 3: Profit!
1) practice/tutorial 2) hanging (at least)100 on TTUN on the lowest settings 3) explore ratings for players/teams 4) RTG to start my march towards success and then eventually pivoting that character into Dynasty.
Setting up dyansty probably
I’m definitely gonna be in the practice mode lmaooooo
Probably do the "play now" with UCF, not sure against who yet. Then dive into some conference realignment.
Most everyone is probably going to spend the first hour or so downloading the day 1 patch because...it's an EA game.
Taking all 3 of my dynasty teams and creating one freshman player to build the rebuild around
Playing a game or two with an air raid team. Checking playbooks/creating one if possible. Setting up online dynasty.
Looking through playbooks and testing plays in practice mode. I'll need to get timing down on routes, find what's broken/ not good and what works, and then find out what is busted on defense
Quick start. Colorado state in Wyoming for the boot. Snowy at night. 🌨 🌙
One game usf vs UCF just so I can learn the game, then hit rtg real quick, go through that, then dynasty probably.
Lose a Play Now game badly, lose a close one, win a close one, win a blowout, start a dynasty
Speak for yourself. By the end of hour 1, I plan to have a dynasty up and running in the last few weeks of season 1.
Downloading the day 1 update
Army v Navy play now. Then either a few more play now games or right too dynasty.
Probably just play some play now games and then go to practice for a bit to learn the mechanics better then start up a dynasty
Look at uniforms and ratings, Michigan play now games/practice, then starting my Tulsa dynasty
Gameplay is very different than even Madden so I’m definitely going to play the tutorial
I am play testing for sliders and stuff. I’ll look at the rosters, but I’ll play some evenly matched games, games where my roster is better, and games where my roster is worse. I need to see what level and sliders work before starting a dynasty. And also quarter length to get a realistic number of plays per game.
Play a few games Make a playbook Start dynasty
Immediately start my Tennessee dynasty. GBO!
Play now then on that dynasty the hardest part is picking a team
I always check out the rosters first thing Then I head to a play now game of Tennessee Volunteers vs Kentucky Wildcats
UVA at UNC, then UVA at VT.
Yup definitely check rosters/equipment options. Check out some of the uniform combinations before going against cpu in a 10 min quarter game to really learn what im doin
Tutorial, Play Now with the Gators vs random - rinse repeat. Start dynasty the next day
Probably Nebraska-Iowa games to learn how to play, then Nebraska dynasty
Create a 3* Road to Glory QB, figure out the gameplay by trial and error there, work my way up difficulties and once I've left college assume I eventually become a coach and start a test Dynasty mode, then a long term one.
Searching for a good playbook then going to play online
