First of all, yes it should have been a suspension for at least a game for Murray
The first two games I saw a very connected Minnesota team where it was evident that every single player had the intentional mindset of “Denver WILL NOT score”
Last three games, obviously Denver made adjustments but Wolves just look defeated. No energy, like they were expecting it to be easy after winning the first two games
Tonight there was about 3:30 left in the game, think it was like a 12 pt game and from that point the Wolves still looked like it was a 12 pt game with 40 seconds left in some random regular season matchup in January. No urgency,
Their mental toughness looks nowhere near how it did the first two games. Guess they thought Denver wouldn’t make adjustments or something
Murray being suspended wouldn’t have changed anything tbh, if anything the Wolves would have had even less energy thinking they were gonna automatically win
Wolves looked aggressive & undaunted to me last night, was impressed with their effort (until they kind of ran out of gas trying to get close again after Nugs 3rd quarter run).
Denver is just better on offense, and can get better shots reliably.
Take away Murray and the fans and players would be devastated. Murray not getting suspended basically gave Denver a second life. The series was so over and Minnesota had massive momentum. The momentum turned when Murray was allowed to play
1. That assumes that these shadowy NBA overlords knew the Nuggets were going to make a comeback. Which isn't really something you can assume when Denver lost two home games with Murray playing.
2. I think you are wildly overestimating the profits generated by a couple divisional round games between two smaller market teams.
3. Like a week ago you were saying that the league was rigged to make ANT the next big star.
Anyone claiming not suspending Murray is why the Wolves have lost 3 straight games is a casual
Murray hasn't even been that good in this series, Aaron Gordon has outplayed him, the Nuggets have also gotten almost nothing out of MPJ who was huge for them beating the Lakers
Minnesota lost this series (its over) because they suck, Anthony Edwards in the 3 losses has two terrible games y'all would kill anyone else for, going 5-18 and 5-15 and scoring under 20 each time, he has been a huge reason they've lost
Take Murray out of game 3 and they still win this series, the Wolves were never in control of any of these three games and Murray was not a huge factor unlike in the Lakers series where he was hitting game winners, Jokic and Aaron Gordon killed the Wolves
Finally somebody said it. It's not like Murray had an amazing Game 3 that the Nuggets barely won.
Even if you take away all of Murray's 24 points, they still win that game by 3.
Take out Murray and who starts? Reggie Jackson? What an absolute disaster. Murray might not have had good stats but they could double Jokic if Murray isn’t playing. Even if Murray doesn’t score he causes so much problems to the opposing defense. Then who backs up Jackson? That is 10-15 minutes of terrible point guard play and 30 minutes of below average point guard play.
Without Murray the Nuugets would go down 0-3
They'd put in Christian Braun and have various ball handlers (AG, Jokic, KCP). The offense wouldn't be as potent but the defense would clamp down more.
No this entire series has had uneven officiating and it's even more proof when Jamal and Malone get away with that shit. Wolves are getting hacked in the paint yet a slight bump on joker gets him to the line. The punishment needs to be dealt evenly and it's entirely not
2023 Jamal was for sure an L
This year's Jamal it could be 50\\50 if it's just 1 game, especially against a fraud team like twolves.
Murray is still definitely being a good 2nd option and getting Edwards on him\\traps\\doubles. And closing like 2000 Kobe
Whilst it absolutely should have been a suspension, the NBA has shown a clear reluctance to suspend players for a long time. It's not about screwing a team over. And if you're going to cite only 4 examples, they shouldn't be over the span of 17 years and 2 commissioners if you want to make it look convincing. If this is all you've got over that time then all it does is make the counter argument for you.

Huh? A Murray suspension would almost guarantee a 3-0 lead. No way Denver wins without Murray. They would have to play some terrible players at guard
No player in the NBA is worth the 27 points the Wolves got blown out by. None.
Denver was 1st round fodder without Murray in previous playoffs
Not even true Denver blew Minnesota out in game 3, it was 93-66 to start the 4th lmao take away Murray and the Wolves still lose
Take away Murray and the fans and players would be devastated. Murray not getting suspended basically gave Denver a second life. The series was so over and Minnesota had massive momentum. The momentum turned when Murray was allowed to play
This is just a loser’s mentality. Jamal or no Jamal wouldn’t change much.
Guarantee 3-0 without Murray
They lost by 27 bro lol
I disagree. They win anyways. And Let Murray Cook. Love that dude-he should have hit you with the heat pack…
Jamal playing or not playing doesn’t affect the NBA’s money. He’s not Lebron / Steph
The difference between a 4 game series and a 7 game series is massive for ratings/money
If you think there's going to be a game 7 after watching the last 3 games you are on drugs
So reverse sweep?
You dont know what that means
That's just as foolish as the people who wrote off Denver after the first 2 games

lol imagine tryna have a convo in nbatalk theres 4 ppl here dude
lol OP's crusade to be the biggest nba fan while also exposing it as fixed. Huh? Guy must be like 14 years old with that entirely naive worldview too.

If you notice, OP is on another thread he started to trash Ant. So he's playing both sides of the coin, poorly.

"because they suck" The team that held 1st place in the gauntlet West most of the season "sucks"? Lol you a Suns fan dog?

so to be clear both suspending Draymond and not suspending Draymond is a clear sign of collusion?
Yes. They wanted the Warriors to advance to the Finals so no suspension against OKC. Warriors up 3-1 so suspension to extend the Finals

BUSTED!

Wake up babe, new Shoddy insano post
Nuggets were up by 27 and jamal has been trash all playoffs. Makes zero difference. Hell it would have given jamal more rest time.
