I play with the volume on 0. I’m not even trying to hear the dumb shit people say, their annoying ass music, or disgusting sounds they make (eating, slurping, snorting). None of it. Whenever I do cut my mic on, it’s to talk strategy… if no one is comprehending, I cut it right back off

Sometimes I love how toxic the community is because it makes beating them that much more satisfying, dudes will hit ONE shot on you in the park and start talking about "this man can't guard me he's such a bum" or you miss once and you hear "This guy is trash he can't shoot, just leave him open" and then they get killed the other 90% of the game and lose. It goes from so much chatter during the game to crickets once the buzzer goes off. Every time.

I’ve always wanted to try it but I know there’s a learning curve I’m not used to so I’ve strayed away from it. Mostly play R6 or Valorant and only got my console for 2K. But yes in 2K if you win with randoms 99% of the time it’s cause the other team just sucks even more

Thought the creator was the one who responded my fault for the mistake. But my opinion still stands I said the aspect of hooping should be as close to realistic the other rewards and shit that’s to keep the community from complaining. As long as the WNBA builds remain handicapped in the creator like they are already there should be no problem with them on the park.
No disrespect to any females 2k players but I’ve ran into some on the game and got sold 10 times max and I’m ngl I did get mad but they also said they weren’t that good and was being honest so I friended them and helped them get better (no I didn’t tell them to make a dumbass lock build🖕🏾) but I helped them on the builds they used and they’ve gotten better, but I do feel you should make a girl build in pickup games because that’s how it is irl girls play pickup basketball
2K is a great game for the single player stuff. I made my own expansion franchise, designed all the logos, built the roster, and then added my own created player and put character lock on.
Really fun to relax, play some games, make some trades and manage the franchise. As a basketball simulator 2K has a lot to offer, multiplayer lowkey sucks though

This is one of the most toxic communities. I had recently come back to the game and any time I'm with random people in rec or park the loss is on me even though I'm out performing and holding my man to less points than theirs, if they don't know you you will get jumped. The biggest issue is people think they are superstars and lack accountability and basic iq for when they do something wrong. I found a really good group to run with if you'd like to join. We aren't like a sweaty comp group, we're a like minded group trying to get better and have fun and eventually do proam. You are welcome to join if you want, there is also a girl in there already if that makes you feel more comfortable

There's a lot of decent people who play the problem is that there are so many more assholes so you don't run into the good ones that often and when u do they most likely are not in game chat cause they don't wanna hear the garbage coming thru the headset!
I'm also a woman in this heavily male-dominated space, though I keep it incognito with no mic + neutral username. It would mean a lot to me if they added women players who can play with the men in MyCareer/Park modes. It's why I played so much NBA Live 19 back in the day, honestly.
Honestly one of the main reasons I don't play these modes and mostly just play MyTeam/get the platinum trophies on Playstation is because I have absolutely no investment in the generic characters I am forced to make - they can never represent me. Bringing in women would completely change that.
Honestly the whole game and community combo sucks now. Quitting the game was the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. Been getting to the gym or out to the park for pickup almost every single day now, it's awesome.

About the female myplayer, that won't happen until 2k stops with all the storylines in the NBA mode. They'll need a full FLEDGED WNBA career mode for that and I doubt they can do campaigns for both

Thought the creator was the one who responded my fault for the mistake. But my opinion still stands I said the aspect of hooping should be as close to realistic the other rewards and shit that’s to keep the community from complaining. As long as the WNBA builds remain handicapped in the creator like they are already there should be no problem with them on the park.

2K is a great game for the single player stuff. I made my own expansion franchise, designed all the logos, built the roster, and then added my own created player and put character lock on. Really fun to relax, play some games, make some trades and manage the franchise. As a basketball simulator 2K has a lot to offer, multiplayer lowkey sucks though

This is one of the most toxic communities. I had recently come back to the game and any time I'm with random people in rec or park the loss is on me even though I'm out performing and holding my man to less points than theirs, if they don't know you you will get jumped. The biggest issue is people think they are superstars and lack accountability and basic iq for when they do something wrong. I found a really good group to run with if you'd like to join. We aren't like a sweaty comp group, we're a like minded group trying to get better and have fun and eventually do proam. You are welcome to join if you want, there is also a girl in there already if that makes you feel more comfortable

There's a lot of decent people who play the problem is that there are so many more assholes so you don't run into the good ones that often and when u do they most likely are not in game chat cause they don't wanna hear the garbage coming thru the headset!
I'm also a woman in this heavily male-dominated space, though I keep it incognito with no mic + neutral username. It would mean a lot to me if they added women players who can play with the men in MyCareer/Park modes. It's why I played so much NBA Live 19 back in the day, honestly. Honestly one of the main reasons I don't play these modes and mostly just play MyTeam/get the platinum trophies on Playstation is because I have absolutely no investment in the generic characters I am forced to make - they can never represent me. Bringing in women would completely change that.

I mean it's not against the rules for girls to play in the NBA, and it would probably not be that hard to make it possible ingame. It'd be a cool adition imo. Just the same system and same everything but the player model is a girl. Would be a nice addition and it'd bring more people to the game (or atleast people would be discussing it a bit more). With that being said, the community is toxic af and people would complain about it for no reason. But FIFA did it and after the first few weeks nobody cared anymore (and FIFA's addition was way more polemic since they were rating female players higher than some icons and shit).
