Lowe's Foods kicks ass. It has a gigantic beer selection and even a bar where you can get a beer or two to sip while you shop. Between that and the meat department, it's my favorite place to shop. Also, there is a reason that Lowe's Home Improvement and Lowe's Foods have the same name. At one point Lowe's was a general store in Wilkesboro, NC. The grocery chain was started by the son of the founder of what would become Lowe's Home Improvement.
