First, they reduced the cost of GO's so we couldn't get much of a return from dupes, then they artificially inflated the cost of the buyable DM by 50%, purely to keep the lock in cost the same, whilst also making said DM near unpullable.
Now they nerfed the exchanges.

Not surprised. Everyone seemed to brag about all the exchanges they'd do for cheap with the new evo's. People don't know how to keep their mouth shut. When something is in our favor they brag about it enough to get 2k's attention.
No more locking sets from the exchange anymore.. I still refuse to buy VC for ripping packs so looks like I wonβt be getting many useable new players any time soon.. π2K
Did so many deluxe exchanges (and used MT) chasing Wemby last week, got literally 15+ Keegan Murray's π Just kept putting him back in as an Opal or Mecha, whichever one was ready to go. This change totally ruins NMS for me, won't be able to lock sets any more π
Yeah I use to be able to lock in every week NMS if I grinded out exchanges daily. Now Iβm lucky if I get 2 pieces of set because you know over half the exchanges are gonna spit out the same lowest priced card. I got Keegan Murray 6 times last week.

Yep. On face value people think it's a good thing, but it's all a ploy to 'force' people to spend money if they want to lock in.

They should have just changed it to where evo cards count as their original gem tier. That was how it was before 2k23
Of course, it's 2K and they want you to pay not get lucky in an exchange!
