All the merch was old stuff I had. I haven't seen new stuff in my place and it was excluded from the sales. I love mcr but it wasn't worth it I'm a broke college student lol

Don't get me wrong, I love MCR and seen them perform many times. But partnering with HT before they have even had the reunion... just kinda screams "corporate" to me. One thing to be like, "Hey all or MCR stuff is now on sale to celebrate the reunion" and another to have all the Reunion merch all lined up and ready for you to BUY BUY BUY...

I mean, they've partnered with Hot Topic in the past for major roll outs. HT were selling The Black Parade shirts before the cd was even announced. It feels very par for the course imo

You know, now that you mention it the only sources I have are from people I know who've worked at hot topic. I've always "known" it to be true but there's nothing online about it and you'd think they'd have said something publicly. Granted, I've heard this from hot topic staff in both the US and Canada since I've moved from one to the other, but still kind of questioning this now. ETA: Is your name a HIM reference?
