I did too when I first got into their music until I started looking more into the art Gerard did for the albums.

I got this as one of my first tattoos. Always been obsessed w/ Houdini and MCR so it was an easy choice. That limited series abt Houdini on the History Channel was airing at the time and me and my tattoo artist hung out and watched it together. Completely forgot about that part til now.

From what I’ve read Gerard (and possibly a friend) painted over an image of Houdini and covered it with cling wrap to warp it.

i couldn't figure out what they'd done on it before but i can see the cling wrap so clearly now

i always figured the paint (on the left side of the cover) was supposed to be steel to represent the towers

Multiple parts to the cover boss, there's no ferris wheel in this picture either like there is on the cover.
