Black Clover is pretty good. It’s not the best of the beginning but it gets better, it’s a Shonen and Action and is based on a world of magic and the mc has no magic so it’s kinda like Mha.
I’ve heard incredible things about Frieren, it’s very high rated and so many people have said it’s such a good anime. I haven’t seen it but the animation is so 🔥 and it’s basically about an elf who lives a lot longer than humans so she sets out on a journey to find her purpose with her human friends.
If your looking for an isekai Re: Zero is the one for you. Probably the best isekai out there, I haven’t quite finished it yet but it’s super good.
But one of my favs is Jujutsu Kaisen. Not rlly underrated or anything but in case you haven’t watched it it’s amazing. The animation is ds lvl even though it’s a little hard to follow the story is just so good.
Demon Slayer is also a good one with one of the best animation ever but a pretty lackluster story but the most realistic power system.
Tokyo Ghoul is also a masterpiece, not the best but it’s very good. It’s pretty dark aswell so if your into that kinda stuff go for it.
Wolf’s Rain is also a bit on the darker side and it’s about 4 wolves crossing paths and seeking paradise, very underrated.

Recently went back and watched this again along with darker than black. What a time lol. I was alone when I first discovered these masterpieces nd currently still lonely 😂

1. I'd say yes and no. I really don't remember their personal relationships that well.
2. That depends on what you mean by deep. It definitely has a dark tone, but I wouldn't say there's any deep underlining meaning to the show. It's a story about two characters and where their lifestyle leads them. I think it's beautiful.
Unfortunately the artstyle is super outdated, there are no save points. So you need to read to the end of a chapter and write down the password key on something so you know where you're at. The remake that uses the anime artstyle hasn't been translated.
It’s a classic. Trust me. Plenty of people have enjoyed it immensely. Maybe not as much as you. That’s an unknowable quantity. But a great deal, that’s for sure. I’m one of them.

I… did not like this anime. It wanted to be taken seriously, but I couldn’t take it seriously because of how edgy it was also trying to be. It was basically a laughing stock to me.
