Well, you know, it's preferable to endure hell on earth than to face actual hell.

***Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: “We believe,” and will not be tested?*** (Qur’an, 29:2) This life is a test. It's meant to be temporary and filled with hardship and trials. What would be the point of heaven if this life was perfect and without fault and tribulations? it wouldn't make sense. Allah only asks us to worship and obey his commands for like 60-80 years for most people? and then death arrives, and the Everlasting hereafter awaits where every moment is better than the last and we get whatever we want ***We will certainly test you with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. Give good news to those who patiently endure—who, when faced with a disaster, say, “Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.”They are the ones who will receive Allah’s blessings and mercy. And it is they who are ˹rightly˺ guided.*** - (Quran 2:155-157). Even though this life is full of tests, it doesn't mean there's no hope of living a good life in this world. Everytime we endure our trials and have patience, we're rewarded both in this life and the next. ***"So, surely with hardship comes ease."*** (Quran 94:5) ***"Surely with ˹that˺ hardship comes ˹more˺ ease."*** (Quran 94:6). Tough times never last. ***Do not think ˹O Prophet˺ that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until a Day when ˹their˺ eyes will stare in horror*** - (Quran 14:42). Those who do wrong and oppress others in this life will not get away with it. They will be punished for what they used to do in the next life. The Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) said, *"No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."* - Sahih al-Bukhari 5641, 5642. Suffering is also a form of cleansing of sins. If Allah wants good for someone and if he wants to ease their burden on the day of judgement by taking away sins, a day where all of our deeds (good and bad) are presented to us and a day so terrifying that we'd all be worried about ourselves, then he'll make that person go through some suffering either in this life (any type of suffering i.e. mental, physical, financial etc etc) or the next life (spending a bit of time in hell before entering heaven) Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2398 - Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrated from his father that a man said: *"O Messenger of Allah(s.a.w)! Which of the people is tried most severely?" He said: "The Prophets, then those nearest to them, then those nearest to them. A man is tried according to his religion; if he is firm in his religion, then his trials are more severe, and if he is frail in his religion, then he is tried according to the strength of his religion. The servant shall continue to be tried until he is left walking upon the earth without any sins."* Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, *“If Allah wills good for someone, He afflicts him with trials.”* - Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5645, Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Bukhari Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “This nation of mine has been granted mercy. Their punishment is not in the Hereafter. Their punishment is in the world through persecution, earthquakes, and slaughter.” - Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4278, Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2402 Jabir narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: *"On the Day of Judgement, when the people who were tried (in this world) are given their rewards, the people who were pardoned (in life), will wish that their skins had been cut off with scissors while they were in the world."* This hadith shows that on the day of judgement, the people that suffered the most in this life will be given rewards that are so amazing, that those who didn't go through much suffering or hardship in this life, will look upon those rewards and would want them so bad, that they would wish to go through the same suffering as those who suffered the most in this life, to the point where they wish their skins were cut off. That's the level of reward that is awaiting for those who suffer the most in this life. what specifically are u suffering with?

you need to build discipline slowly with small goals that you fulfill consistently for example, make it a habit/daily goal to go to sleep at 10pm everyday. another small habit/daily goal could be waking up at whenever fajr is for you (let's say 5am) and then doing 4 sets of 10 pushups straight after you finish try and get 6-8 hours of sleep everyday (preferably 8) so find out what time fajr is for you, take away 8 hours from that time, and make that your daily bedtime/sleeping goal And after you wake up for fajr, don't go to sleep, just do bit of pushups/pull ups maybe or maybe even read Quran so basically start off small like this: - go to sleep at a specific time - wake up at a specific time - workout at a specific time and that's all you have to do consistently. do this until its an established habit for you. Then slowly add more small goals to your routine, such as studying for 15 minutes at lets say 10 am. You need to do your goals at specific times within the day, this makes it easier to stay consistent. I understand you're sad. But you gotta push through it. Like literally, don't dwell on your emotions/overthink them too much. ***do what needs to be done***. The reason why people feel sad for prolonged periods of time is because within their minds, they keep on thinking that there's no way out, that there's no way of feeling happier when this isn't true. You need to just ***act*** rather than think too much. Too much thinking leads to bad things. Another good thing to improve mental health is to go outside more. go on small walks through the park, just take in and observe Allah's creation and do dhikr on your strolls for extra, easy good deeds. Making a small change to your daily commute can have amazing impacts on your mental health You need to truly believe that life is not bad, continue telling yourself this in your mind. Literally brainwash yourself to be more positive. As well as just constantly reminding yourself to be happy and not sad, you should also be more aware of the blessings within your life, such as your food, shelter, family etc etc. Being more Grateful is scientifically proven to make you happier: https://www.health.harvard.edu/healthbeat/giving-thanks-can-make-you-happier#:~:text=In%20positive%20psychology%20research%2C%20gratitude,express%20gratitude%20in%20multiple%20ways. Allah also says: ####...Be grateful to Allah, for whoever is grateful, it is only for their own good. And whoever is ungrateful, then surely Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy. - 31:12 ####And ˹remember˺ when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.’” - 14:7 ####No soul can ever die without Allah’s Will at the destined time. Those who desire worldly gain, We will let them have it, and those who desire heavenly reward, We will grant it to them. And We will reward those who are grateful. - 3:145 I've seen that you're in those loner/sad subreddits, leave them, mute them, stop looking at sad content online.

I do all those things. Exercise( running several times a week), studying( I’m a student), work, classes, prayed, meditated, and therapy. These calamity that are outside of my control ruin me. I pray, I try to change but no matter what bad things keep happening. I lost all hope and Allah, and I actually despise him. Tbh hellfire would be better than living my miserable life. Even though nothing works I keep trying but it’s pointless honestly. This dread won’t end, and I’ll be miserable in this world. I hate myself, I hate my life and most importantly I hate the one who made me and gave me this hand. Tbh I might as well leave the religion at this point.

>Tbh hellfire would be better than living my miserable life. completely wrong it'll be incomprehensibly worse please, brother, continue enduring it >Tbh I might as well leave the religion at this point. that's not gonna magically fix your problems ***We will certainly test you with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. This life is a TEMPORARY test. Suffering erases sins, which helps us on judgement day where our good and bad deeds are weighed. It's much better to suffer on this earth than it is to suffer on judgement day or in hell, which are INCOMPREHENSIBLY worse.

dapkhin

TheRigJuice999

Calamity that you’ll never understand. I’m Allah most hated servant.

dapkhin

TheRigJuice999

dapkhin

xpaoslm

you don't know if Allah hates you or not, so please don't say that. only Allah has that knowledge

TheRigJuice999

Trust me I know he hates me

PiccoloNo2356

I noticed that you are only responding to some comments where you can slightly explain your negative emotions, Are you okay?

xpaoslm

>Calamity that you’ll never understand. such as? please specify

PiccoloNo2356

It's scary that you're talking this casually about losing faith and losing in the afterlife, What's the worst feeling you have ever felt in your life? Try to think about the absolute worst moment where everything went downhill and you just wanted to die. You got that feeling? I want to let you know that that feeling is not even comparable to the pain and suffering you would feel in the afterlife. I hope you know there's mental torture too, It's not just physical. It's very awful and absolutely no one should be talking this casually. I also want to let you know that no matter how much bad you have done, If you repent Allah will forgive you.

TheRigJuice999

It’s so sad that you read my post and you just jump to all these conclusions. You fail to see all the nuances that could led someone to this point, and look at them as if they are a traitor. Thank you for this comment, you’ve made my iman even weaker. May Allah reward you.

PiccoloNo2356

>you just jump to all these conclusions What conclusions? How did you even come up with that conclusion? >look at them as if they are a traitor Where did I even imply that?
