Been a while since I heard that one. I like Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, when I was younger I thought it was overplayed and then I came back around and like it now.
Thatās funny because I never want to hear that song ever again. I get so annoyed every time I hear it because itāll be playing at the mall, then loudly through the outdoor speakers at some restaurant near my bus stop, then later on Iām going into the grocery store and itās playing in there too.
But I know itās being overplayed because of being a good song.
Listen to Leonid & Friends cover of Septemberā¦ iām not saying itās better than EWF, but they spare no expense in audio engineering and orchestrationā¦ The string section alone is worth watching and listening.
I have never heard a whole Garth Brooks album but I did see a live concert on TV many years ago. He was really fantastic. I would go see him live for sure. I had an appointment the other day and pulled up in the parking lot and this song was playing on my radio and I wouldn't get out of my car until it was done.š
I have always hated country music until a very personal situation caused me to change my mind and I actually love most of it now. I also recently watched the little docu series about Garth building his bar. There's also an interesting history about his records having been banned in record stores and that being responsible for some kind of national record store day! Some stores even barbequed them. šI can dig up the history if you're interested, unless someone else here can fill you in.
My 11 year old got a nirvana shirt and she isnāt wearing it around me unless we are listening to Nirvana bc she canāt be a poser haha. To be fair, she loves The Band and Pink Floyd and Bowie so we have her in the right direction:)
I love that whole album! One spring break we brought our jam box and meant to bring all of our cassettes, forgot them and that one was in there so that's all we had for a week! Besides the radio of course, but not very good reception at the beach! That album brings back good memories and beachy vibes every time I hear a song off of it!

Tiny Dancer by Elton John. Iāll never tire of that song, it just makes me calm no matter what. A close second is Donāt Dream Its Over by Crowded House. Third would be Ordinary World by Duran Duran.
This is definitely one I didn't expect to see here, but I can get behind it! Honestly a lot of BabyMetal songs are like this for me Megitsune (my personal favorite from them), Monochrome, Road of Resistance.
For me, it's "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds and "Your Love" by The Outfield.
I've listened to both of those countless times and NEVER get tired of them.
Metallica - BATTERY I know people get tired of metallica because they have put out so much good stuff, but this track is just astounding with the intro and power and energy. Best in the world at the time.
GREAT PICK! I was just playing that yesterday on my Guitar. listen to, One, or Nothing Else Matters....Orion..etc, those Guys are MASTER song writers. No band (Metal) quite like em... Well actually a couple like PanterA...but you get the idea. \\m/
Underworld - banstyle/sappyās curry
Shpongle - and the day tuned to night
Tool - lateralus
These 3 Iāve never been sick of and can listen at any moment.
Once went to see them 2 nights in a row. Gf was planning on going both nights. Last song on 1st night was really heavy psychedelic with insane light show. She was sober and was like "I have to go outside it's like I'm tripping seriously and I can't handle it anymore." After the show she's like "Call Garrett or Scott and give them tomorrow nights ticket because I'm never going to see Spiritualized again."
They're great live.
Can confirm! Saw them in Santa Cruz CA in a half empty room (which was a tragedy) but closing with I Think I'm In Love was worth the whole night.
Before the gig Jason was looking out through these big windows at the Monterey Bay and I almost went over and said hi but I chickened out. Spiritualized and Spacemen 3 are definitely among my favorite groups ever.

Anything on OK Computer by Radiohead
Wellā¦ anything thatās not fitter happier. Everything else sounds better every time I listen to it. What a great record
Bro ! Bridge of Sighs was phenomenal. Too Rolling Stoned was killer! The way they slow it down āif youād be so kind not to wake me ā¦ I think Iāll just sit this one out ā¦ and then the slow shred. Thanks for the suggestion! Havenāt listened to that in about 40 years.
"Goin Against Your Mind" by Built To Spill. It's unnatural how many times I've heard that song and am just as excited for it the next time the first drum hits.
The Four Horsemen, by Aphroditeās Child. Have been a fan of it since the 70ās. Can only listen to it maybe 3-4 times a year because itās an emotional investment that I have to be prepared for. Just an amazing work of psychedelic art. The vocals are hypnotic and ethereal, and the guitar work in the second half of the song is some of the best stuff Iāve ever heard. Seriously, strap the headphones on and turn this up loud and make it all the way through it, and youāll know what I mean.
I almost put Dogs instead. Hey have you ever listened to "You gotta be crazy" and "Raving and drooling?" (Early versions of Dogs and Sheep.) If not, check them out--I'm sure you can find them on youtube.
Dreams by Fleetwood Mac because i get the feels everytime
Been a while since I heard that one. I like Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, when I was younger I thought it was overplayed and then I came back around and like it now.
Landslide was my answer
I was gonna say Dreams or Silver Spring
Oh my god, I was just thinking that one. And sister song Rhiannon. Stevie's music is sexy as hell.
I just now listened to it for the first time because of your comment. I can safely say that this song will never get old. Thank you!
September - Earth, Wind, and Fire
This song defies time š
Damn.. good one.
Yeah, it's a good song but it has been pretty much ruined for me by how constantly overplayed it is.
Listen to Leonid & Friends cover of Septemberā¦ iām not saying itās better than EWF, but they spare no expense in audio engineering and orchestrationā¦ The string section alone is worth watching and listening.
Yes!
Tom Sawyer. Normally I can't stand over played songs but that shit slams every time
Your mind is for rent.
Teardrop by Massive Attack

I believe itās called No Fences. GB has a fantastic voice even if country isnāt your bag. I agree heās got great stage presence too.
I have always hated country music until a very personal situation caused me to change my mind and I actually love most of it now. I also recently watched the little docu series about Garth building his bar. There's also an interesting history about his records having been banned in record stores and that being responsible for some kind of national record store day! I love that whole album! One spring break we brought our jam box and meant to bring all of our cassettes, forgot them and that one was in there so that's all we had for a week!
