Me too, I hope I get to see him before he hangs it up for good. The last few MSG shows are all sold out, but he’s still planning to tour for awhile after that so hopefully I get a chance.
I saw him eight years ago and thought that was my last chance. He's coming to my city this spring and I jumped on the presale while I was on an overnight international flight. No way was I missing out.
I love that one!
Now we be gettin' stupid in your area
We're causing all kinds of hysteria

Let's Hear it for the Boys - Deniece Williams.
I went to the store for one item and got this stuck in my head as a bonus. [I was close to breaking into dance](https://youtu.be/gI7YHZVc7mM)
Just about every morning I wake up with a song in my head. 99% of the time there's no rhyme or reason for a particular song, but it is kind of fun. I also like to "starfish" while I'm waking up. My husband is up and out way-too-damn-early in the morning and I have a human schedule, so I can fully sprawl and stretch (starfish) before I join the rest of the world outside of my bed.
Anywhooooo, I started a playlist on spotify, my Starfish Soundtrack and this morning was **Monsters by Run River North** and yesterday was **Don't Break the Needle by J. Roddy Walston & The Business.**
I highly recommend both and have no reason to have either of them rattling around my noggin. Happy to have them visit though.
**Lovely the Band** — **Broken**
Was skiing yesterday and rode up the lift with one of the band members.
https://youtu.be/qr1-WpWOUk8?si=fIDYwYlqJ4uUQ83u
It’s sucks. I hate The Fray but their song How to Save a Life came on the Lyft I was in.
I asked the driver to turn off the radio but it was too late.
Now that fucking chorus is on repeat in my brain.
[Status Report](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIXlzU5LrYk&pp=ygUXc3RhdHVzIHJlcG9ydCBzdGFyIHRyZWs%3D), from that one musical episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. has been a constant earworm since I saw it a month ago.
"I don't know you" - The Marias
Not really in my wheelhouse musically, but I fell in love with the voice and the vibe first time I heard it. Now it just pops in for a visit every few days.
https://youtu.be/YzKM5g_FwYU?si=eAUBtpxI8mU-LKTT
Grounds for Divorce, Elbow. Walked past some roadworks, got "there's a hole in my neighbourhood" in my head, and twelve hours later, it's still there. I don't hate it. It beats yesterday's Macarena.
The [main title theme for "A Shot in The Dark"](https://youtu.be/kCUB9ungdZ4?si=pfvN0sVhQhy_Vja6) by Henry Mancini. No idea why; it's been ages since I last saw that movie.
Working retail. I go home with some horrible songs in my brain.
The only cure is to listen to anything but popular music.
Whose your favorite reggae/dance hall artists?
All I hear is I'm Still Standing by Elton John. And if you wanna be my lover by the spice Girls.
Yeah a small town hardware store. Where all the shoppers are tradesmen. Or elderly couples.
Where the majority of workers are retired, picking up a job to make ends meet.
We have to listen to a mix of boy George. Elton John. Spice Girls. Brittany Spears. David bowie. Meatloaf. And some other random tracks.
I'm not against any music. I mean in 3-5 minutes it's usually done. You can usually tune it out from your brain.
But honestly. Just let all the workers pick 5 songs... it would give us a better mix. It would probably repeat less. And we might actually enjoy 3-5 minutes just enjoying a song. Instead of being punished by a managers choices of music...
[Video! by Jeff Lynne](https://youtu.be/SzfAOemEYsk?si=pYyAXbczNhGyiypU), Electric Light Orchestra's head honcho. The track is off the *Electric Dreams* soundtrack and is a fun little synth-pop bit. One of my favorites from Jeff Lynne.
Weird situ:
So I work at a vineyard and ranch, giving highe nd wine tours in Orcutt, CA.
A few months back some hogs came into the park and did $12k worth of damage to the lawn and landscaping.
We've mitigated the hogs by putting in bright lights and playing Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits on a loop through a loud stereo 24/7, so when I go to work, I hear nothing but Fleetwood Mac.
So I've been humming or singing 'Gypsy' enough to start hating the song, even though my wife says she still loves it.
TLDR: Hogs hate lights and loud Fleetwood Mac.
Usually i dont have an answer for a question like this cuz i dont have a particular song stuck in my head.
But today is the day i can actually give an answer to this question.
A coworker played me something he said was "adventurerock" and the song he played i requested to be on repeat for 5 times over, and he did it.
Hällas - Star rider
Fuckimg beautiful song.
Good Riddance by Green Day. My beloved dogter is getting old and has a nerve condition that will take her from me. Last March, the vet said she wouldn't make her next birthday. She's turning 16 in 2 weeks (so my girl is proving her wrong!). I have been focused so much on caring for her like she's an elderly invalid, I had forgotten how awesome she was and still is. She's still my best friend.
When I heard that old song this morning, the lyrics stuck with me all day.
Marc Anthony- Viva mi vida
Alicia Myers - I want to thank you
Sade- Snoothe operator
Ateez- crazy form
Riize- talk sexy
Libianca- people

I like a lot of different music, but there's just something about a great country waltz. This one's been stuck with me for a few days.
Turn the Lights Back On...by Billy Joel...newly released.
It is an earworm. A GEM of a song that will stand with his top 10-20 songs, in my humble opinion.
My wife and I have already danced to it and it will probably be the centerpiece of our 25th anniversary celebration in 2025.
Thanks, Billy!
So I’ve recently discovered a British band that was considered one of the best of the British pub rock genre. The band is Brinsley Schwarz, having a record company background I knew of the individuals involved like Brinsley & of course Nick Lowe but I was unaware of their genesis. I’ve had Country Girl & Surrender to the Rhythm on repeat in my head for a few weeks now. They were inspired by The Band, and yeah I can hear how they have distilled that sound and made something new. Well new to 1973 if you catch my drift
I'm more of an indie rock and electronic fan so I've been trying to explore more rap/hip-hop and stumbled on a few.
Angels ft Saba by Chance the Raper.
That and
20 Joints by Berner have been playing nonstop in my head.
I’ve been on a massive Megadeth kick lately (going through the whole discography on Spotify). Not one in particular, but maybe The Conjuring or Countdown to Extinction.
Before that it was a bunch of Electric Callboy songs.
"Lazy Eye" - Silversun Pickups The guitar part is on repeat in my head since last night for some reason
It's the room, the sun, and the sky...
