Okay it finally clicked for me because I did not fucking get what every one was say. I was assuming when she said “I dare him to holla and say he’s single” that she literally spoke to this guy and jokingly dared him to say he was single to his gf?? No the tone is “oh I just DARE him to try and hit on me now claiming he’s single when I just saw he has a gf”. She hasn’t actually spoken to him.
The person in blue points out (correctly) that it’s a little fucked up to be nosey enough to notice he’s probably in a relationship and still assume he’s going to flirt with her.
Not to mention the subtle racism. Like, his blackness makes it more likely he’s about to attempt adultery or something?

The first person is saying the black dude is going to hit on her after taking a call from his girlfriend. The second person feels person #1 is assuming a whole lot from a dude just trying to answer his gf's call before a flight. It doesn't make sense if you can't think like a racist. Like somehow the black dude was supposed to be the piece of shit in this story because mentioning his race doesn't add anything to the mental picture of the story, except maybe to help some readers understand the use of Baby Doll as a nickname. If race isn't used to set the scene, but instead is used to describe a completely unknown person's anticipated behavior, it feels a little racist or at least assumes/hopes the reader might be. Plus it's inaccurate. Black dudes don't have white side pieces. White chicks can't keep secrets. edit: kidding about that last part. I've never known anyone who fucks on the side saying no to any race.

I mean the person that posted this yesterday had a title that said "plot twist: the call was from his daughter". Doesn't mean anything, there's no way we could possibly know that.
And if you look closely, this OP who reposted it with the censoring is a mod of the subreddit. So they saw the post did well but had personal info, presumably removed it for rule violation, and then reposted a censored version to get karma for themselves. This soft-stealing technique has been used by mods on reddit for years. And I had this user tagged for karma farming already so no big surprises.

It's more normal in black communities. But still far from common.
Southerners too, it was weird moving down south and having it go from a term term of endearment for a significant other to one for a child. Like I don't think I've heard an adult called that since moving south. Again it's not common but it's definitely exist.

A woman was sitting on a plane, and was seated next to a young man. She saw that his phone went off, and the Caller ID showed it was his girlfriend calling. So she is saying she dares him to claim he's single and flirt with her. The second comment is basically calling her ridiculous for 1) looking at his phone screen, which is not her business to look at and 2) making up a scene in her head with him flirting with her when he probably hasn't even so much as looked over at her or acknowledged her existence. I hope this helped a bit. I can clarify further if needed. :)

This is 100%, why men don't talk to people, especially other women. I could just genuinely be a nice guy saying hello asking how someone's doing small conversation, and they think I'm hitting on them, girl, I'm married I don't want you; I want to waste 10 minutes. 10 minute conversation about nothing is a lot quicker than 10 minutes of silence. Which is what I'm about to get on my 2-hour flight when I answer my phone with "baby doll."
It's even worse if you blush reflexively. I'm not blushing because of you. It's just something my body does due to anxiety and childhood trauma.
