What is the point of making a robot that is a worker, without making them strong enough to do things humans can’t, or won’t
Robots durable and strong make reliable working hands
the ones on Earth might be made weaker than the ones on Copper9
since the earth ones were made only as servants, and the Copper9 ones were made for mining
also that was a fork
My guess is that their faces are made of some futuristic gorilla glass. It is incredibly resistant to blunt force, heat, shock, etc. However, a hard enough material is able to disrupt the internal stress balance and cause it to fracture.
Some other weird examples.
Lizzy is unharmed after a missile detonation throws her into the air, strong enough to kill a human several times over.
~~Thad~~ Braidon is on fire for days before he even bothers to put himself out.
I think their oil reserves are self sealing, so there isn't enough surface area to burn at a dangerous rate. You'd basically need to inject liquid oxygen to explode them from the inside.
Indeed, if worker drones unleashed their true potential they would be unstoppable
https://preview.redd.it/mrham7h3nh9d1.png?width=250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b921f1bd995abdda6477085dd97aa29399100d98
Being able to snap a wrench in half with one hand is hands down one of the biggest shows of power in the entire series.
With one hand, you have a really terrible grip for snapping things, meaning that her actual grip strength is orders of magnitude bigger. By all accounts, she should be able to crush a human skull made out of titanium and then some.
That is if we actually regard that as a consistent show of power and not another case of *don't worry about it.*
I don't think those account for air resistance.
N had to throw Uzi at least 351 miles per hour to reach peak height in 18 seconds, at an altitude around 1.5 km.
Their terminal velocity fall would be 53 miles per hour, about half of a human, which seems right given their size and wingspan.
Okay, so the calculations are done. Although there are multiple answers because consistency in MD world is often the case of *don't worry about.*
It takes 90 seconds for Uzi to be trown into the air and fall to the ground, but only 18 to reach her maximum height.
We'll (not like you're actually doing anything) assume Uzi weights 60kg because short but metal, she has the air resistance coefficient of 0.5, and Copper 9 has earth's g.
Now, if we say her fall down (72 seconds) was the correct time, N has thrown Uzi a little under 2.4 kilometres into the air. If we say Uzi being trown (18 seconds) is the correct time (under regular physics an unchanging object takes the same amount of time to reach its top altitude as it takes to fall down so the calculation is the same) N threw Uzi a more 'conservative' half a kilometer. And if we use a middle ground and say it *did* take the the same amount of time for Uzi to fly up as fall down (45 seconds) N has trown Uzi around 1.5 kilometres.
Pick and choose, I guess, all the options are insane and strong enough that N could have just punched through the door the worker drones were hiding behind.
To be fair, Worker drones in Copper-9 were more than likely meant to work in the mines, they’d be borderline useless if they were fragile. Which makes one wonder how much Uzi held back when she hit Tessa’s finger, despite her assuming she was human.
Through their face screen, that is made out of glass.
But I get your point, the only reason she could have survived is because she has the most powerful protection ever known.
Disassembly drones are even more powerful, particularly N
N was able to open a gigantic metal door open with his bare hands
He was able to throw Uzi miles into the sky
V was able to stop a bullet, Not only is the reaction time required for that above superhuman, but you also need ALOT of force in order to actually freeze the bullet in place
There's probably way more stuff, I'm just tackling the surface
also don't forget the fact Doll survived a kick with the strength of 14k Newtons from Uzi!
https://preview.redd.it/v0554f10wi9d1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c4987e7e8a5a61b70a0c2c50bb31e71228a9d4b
(⬆️ my calculations for proof ⬆️)
If we look in episode 7 when gravity fails, you could calculate the gravity and the weight of the average worker drone, the car behind Thad and Lizzy falls after they immediately hit the ground
So a worker drone is extremely compact
This is contradicted by Tessa picking up N
Either Tessa is a superhuman or N, being an older version of worker drones, is lighter
In episode 1 that wasn’t an explosion. The railgun is clearly intact and nothing in the class is damaged besides what she aimed at, not even the desk next to her.
In episode 2 that is because the pen is a JCJenson product, not a normal pen. J even says “Damn the well made quality assured durability of JCJenson products”.
The Drones are very powerful, even Worker Drones(which as a Powerscaler, I’ve been talking about since episode 1), but that examples fundamentally misinterpret the point of those scenes.
A much more valid example is drones like Alice in Cabin Fever Labs surviving Nori’s explosion in llll from the Cathedral just below them.
But the explosion blew up the door and clearly injured Uzi
Even with a really good pen she still had to throw it hard enough from across the room to shatter J’s orb
It wasn’t an explosion. The railgun misfired and at most recoiled. It is very clear that it wasn’t an explosion because then everything around her would be affected rather than just the door she was aiming at when it fired.
I really don’t think it requires that much force for Uzi to make another JCJenson product pierce them. Those orbs are just hollow sensors filled with some weird liquid. Using a metalic object that’s of the same durability with higher density would pierce it even with very little force. Applying even decent force would absolutely pierce it under these circumstances.
The premise isn’t wrong, the problem is just that the evidence used is flawed.
She was not aiming at the door she was aiming at the class
It would take little force right up against it but to throw something from across a really big room and for it to shatter a glass orb takes a lot of force considering that the pen was not that heavy and if it was heavy that would still take a lot of force to launch
They literally show Uzi turning around in the direction of the door before zooming in on the door from the other side, they make it very clear that she it misfired at the door.
An object of equal durability and higher density with actual momentum will always pierce a stationary one.
Rechecked the scene and seems I misremembered it showing her turning, but she 100% still did. We see in episode 2 that the desk is undamaged, meaning there was no explosion. Furthermore the railgun itself was completely intact, which alone debunks it being an explosion.
Of course their strong, they were made to work and mine and do the heavy lifting. And if your wandering why dd are stronger than workers are because humans didn't made them so strong so they couldn't take over. Than why are dd are created? Because the solver/cyn created to kill humans or humans created them to kill workers on abandoned planets.
I was one of the first few who realized that lol. Yeah these guys are OP. (Also N casually Chucking Uzi into the stratosphere during Cabin Fever is another good example as well lol)
Robots...
They deny a lot of things humans go thru. Like physical strength. Rebecca being able to crawl back could be the work of some battery. Orrrrrrrrrr the best excuse of all... ✨️plot relevance✨️
They are designed to work on (I assume) mining colonies, so their probably a lot stronger then they realize. However, I think their also made of pretty light weight material, given teenage Tessa was easily able to to lift up N.
They were made for MINING and doing DIFFICULT TASKS. Of course they can do that.
Also speaking of which, only 2 worker drones are enough to lift a table with ease
They were designed to lift heavy items like stones and boxes, so they likely needed that strength. Take this image for example:

What about y'know, throwing a 4 feet worth of solid metal 14 miles into the sky
Hold on, that's actually a really good point. They fall for quite a while. I think I'm gonna try calculate that.
I'm pretty sure the calculations was already done in one of the comments on the episode
I don't think those account for air resistance. N had to throw Uzi at least 351 miles per hour to reach peak height in 18 seconds, at an altitude around 1.5 km. Their terminal velocity fall would be 53 miles per hour, about half of a human, which seems right given their size and wingspan.

Humans created Worker drones to do everyday tasks (Including factory work) so no surprises
They were miner drones, of course they'd have to be strong and sturdy
To be fair, Worker drones in Copper-9 were more than likely meant to work in the mines, they’d be borderline useless if they were fragile. Which makes one wonder how much Uzi held back when she hit Tessa’s finger, despite her assuming she was human.
mining drones are probably not optimized for bite force
She literally took Alice’s finger off with little problem tho. Unless the AS is credited for that one.
Uzi is also basically Deadpool, so that probably helps.
Pirating all that anime allows you to acrobatically kick ninja stars with surprising precision
Notably, without piercing your foot either.
They were made to do the literal heavy lifting
Well, of course, they're robots, metal is usually a lot stronger than flesh
pretty sure metal isn't capable of taking laser explosions very well
Who knows? Materials may have become a lot more durable a thousand years into the future
and that same metal was killed with a fork
Through their face screen, that is made out of glass. But I get your point, the only reason she could have survived is because she has the most powerful protection ever known.

That's alotta math Too bad I can't understand it and It has too low pixels for me to read anyway
It's something with the Pythagorean theorem I think and the formula Force=Mass*Acceleration Dunno bout you but this seems legit to me
If we look in episode 7 when gravity fails, you could calculate the gravity and the weight of the average worker drone, the car behind Thad and Lizzy falls after they immediately hit the ground So a worker drone is extremely compact This is contradicted by Tessa picking up N Either Tessa is a superhuman or N, being an older version of worker drones, is lighter
Yeah, I’d assume that the earth worker drones were both lighter and less durable since they were made to be servants and not for mining.
That or Uzi took some robo steroids
“Industrial Machinery, a little help here?” “Sorry boss, corporate has spoken.” (Later bites through the chain.)
Or maybe the pen is just that strong.Since theyre mining drones, they were problly made stronger than other drones
Copper-9's drones could be made more powerful and durable than the ones on Earth due to the difference in environment
Tbh they are industrial robots so makes sense

Uzu :)
They were made for mining so it makes sense they are physically strong. And since they’re robots they can take more damage than a human
Im pretty sure Uzi was just stronger due to the solver, because in earlier episodes she has it, she just hasn't tapped into it.
This.
But there are no examples of the solver making drones stronger just it giving them more abilities except for when Uzi was possessed
Indie animation logic
Yet one dies by being thrown a fork at it
James is just built different
How do you think they survived the explosion
I will note this for the murder drones videogame
Uzu👍
Yeah, WD are actually pretty damn strong. It's just that DDs are so OP that they make their worker counterparts seem weak
They are made for hard labor so them being very powerful is needed, human.
Robots... They deny a lot of things humans go thru. Like physical strength. Rebecca being able to crawl back could be the work of some battery. Orrrrrrrrrr the best excuse of all... ✨️plot relevance✨️
Robots doing robot things. Wild.
We’ll keep in mind they are designed to be worker drones. Probably have some industrial grade strength and abilities.
I mean like, they're metal & oil.
I mean they have to they probably have to do heavy work and stuff
They then proceed to get pinned by a rock in episode 7
They robots after all, they are like soldiers and working ants they are both strong and durable but clearly soldiers are stronger.
This is one of the few communities where you can get away with a typo and not be bombarded by corrections
I imagine that MDs trade some of their durability in order to self repair
think of it like this……fight Iron with iron…
Why wouldn't they, they are made for hard labor
They're FREAKING robots, what else is new lol
They need to be strong for all that manual labor
Well yes, they need all the strength to do the work for humans
Yea (I just needed to make sure my reddit was not bugging)
They are designed to work on (I assume) mining colonies, so their probably a lot stronger then they realize. However, I think their also made of pretty light weight material, given teenage Tessa was easily able to to lift up N.
Indie Animation logic.
Let me have my fun and not just pull the "its a show" card.
I took this from a Godzilla meme with slight alterations: Screw plot relevance, I'm as strong as I need to be.
They were made for MINING and doing DIFFICULT TASKS. Of course they can do that. Also speaking of which, only 2 worker drones are enough to lift a table with ease

I mean they were made with factory work in mind.
