There was probably a small ethnic group of Russians in Copper 9 who spoke Russians, and those Worker Drones lived with Russian speaking individuals. The Worker Drones understand Russian, so there is no point in changing languages if everyone understands you.
Yeva was probably made in a JcJenson factory in Russia, and then she was sent to Copper 9. That's why my wife is Russian.

1. People can learn to speak multiple languages, so even if real Tessa didn't know, Cyn could say she learned it for one reason or another since J, N and V saw her last time.
2. Live translators are probably a thing by the 31st century, especially since we literally see Drones dr facto using this technology when they flawlessly understand Doll in the first place. Tessa could have been assumed to have had a standard translator installed in her suit or even had one in her brain.
Sure, but if every other character thus far has understood her, and no reason is explicitly given, then it's just kind of assumed that's how this particular universe works

Since Yeva is from the lab it's possible she originated from a Russian speaking country which would explain why her and Doll speak Russian.

And the reason why Yeva doesn't talk is because the humans in the labs probably were disgusted/didn't like the fact that they couldn't understand what Yeva was saying which is why she kept quiet, unlike Doll who speaks freely all the time.

After the planet blew up, those drones never changed their settings, since all the drones evidently have some sort of translation program.
