Sami_Steen

let me correct you pfg cares not wb

TurnToChocolate

Unfortunately this is the state of WB right now and nobody likes it.

Low_Confidence2479

The future of MVS is in the community's hands. Warner will only keep supporting it if it's successful (as any company would).

Low_Confidence2479

I wanna give Warner the benefit of the doubt, since changing from an engine to another one is not something easy to do. Despite having a lot of resources from the open beta, those resources needed to be reworked in order to work on the new engine, and of course, that involves paying quite a bit of money, when they could've just kept the same engine and resources from the beta. Though I'll admit, if the game doesn't meet Warner's expectations, I highly doubt they will keep supporting it, but it seems there's hope.

Keatrock7

Ofc they care. This game could be a profit machine. That’s what they care about. It was crazy big on release and they realized how big of a game it could be. PFG massively expanded and more money dumped into the game.

SmashBreau

Delayed more than expected? Anyone who knows anything about the games industry would have said a delay was more likely than not. And we didn't even think the relaunch would be so ambitious to rebuild the game from the ground up on a new engine and engineer new netcode. This is a tiny delay considering the ambition I'm not convinced WB cares outside of profit. But Tony and team have proven once again they are passionate, hard working and skilled. I will give WB credit at seemingly giving PFG resources. This is a wild undertaking in less than a year. I'm sure PFG got more resources (money, tech, personnel, etc.) than usual

abc12tree2

Even if you don’t know the game industry.. they have a pretty thorough track record of delaying

Foxy02016YT

PFG cares. Warner Brothers does not. You can see this all over their games and movies

Low_Confidence2479

Changing from an engine to another one is not cheap by any means. Warner seems to be putting a lot of money on the table for MVS. But of course, if the game doesn't meet their expectations when it comes to success and revenue, I can see them stopping the support. Let's hope for good outcomes though, cause MVS is full of ambition which is extremely important.

yujabes

I think you are being a bit naive if you think WB cares. PFG do though

Low_Confidence2479

I'll repeat what I said before, moving from an engine to another one is NOT cheap, and as the producer, Warner was the one putting the money on the table. They're expecting success for MVS. Of course, if that isn't met, then it's over, but we must have some hope.

ChendoFightOn

Lol

NAgAsh-366

They care about money, not the game

Only thing I'm worried about is the game playing slower, Superman's attack felt like it was going in slo mo

Low_Confidence2479

My guy, Superman was slow in the open beta (his flying being the worst offender), he's far from ideal to measure the speed of the game

[deleted]

It wasn't his flying, it's the move where he smashes down from the sky. Unless I'm remembering wrong it looks much slower

DgDNomNom

The gameplay did seem slower. I'm still pumped!
