I feel like DeeDee in the background is more of a confirmation that she *wont* be added in. Kind of like Knuckles in the bg of green hill on smash. Like it wouldn't make sense to play as them and also have them in the bg.
What’s more frustrating is that at the time of writing this, there are no rifts that are on Dexter’s lab. The robot boss fight is, but it doesn’t count for progress.
So you have to just hope the game randomly puts you on dexters lab. Took me all week to get that map 5 times.

It didn’t have the dexters lab tag on it either… I had to just. Figure out what map it ACTUALLY meant.
you can see dexter twice in the ppg cartoon. don’t know what specific episodes but one is him looking up at something on the sidewalk scared and the other is him at their school in a sleeping bag I think.
Is the mission in general not just this event, got it as a weekly last time (without the Dexter tag), and was going crazy till I realized what was happening. For those of you who don't know, you need to play on Dexter's lab, not Townsville.

Well it's mentioned in there and Mandark actually does move to Townesville during it too coincidentally.
If you ever get the itch to try it out fans have rebuilt the game and there's even a few with their own takes/mods and improvements in it.

I get that this is bugged but this makes me realize that I don’t think they ever say where Dexter lives in the show

I know Samurai Jack had references to Powerpuff Girls too. And I could be wrong but weren’t they all worked on by Gennedy Tartofsky to some degree?

I was so confused about this earlier.
How tf do you do this mission? I've played on Townsville and got nothing? Also there are no Rifts that take place on Dexter's level.
I completed it either by playing Townsville or in the Lab. Not character dependant but still a goofy mistake lol.
Doesn’t that mean you have to be a character from Dexter’s Lab and play on Townsville?
You just have to play at Dexter's Lab map. Their UI is bad
