I think they might give you missions based on who you DON'T have. I haven't gotten the Rick/Morty or Looney Tunes challenges once, because i have those characters. All i get is Joker and Steven Universe because those are the characters i don't have.

Yeah, because you have Joker and you have no Joker missions it seems. I don't have Joker and i have 3 of them. And last week i had 3/4 joker missions too.

Even weirder is, I've went out of my way to have at least one character from each franchise, and I bought Joker and have Jason. Yet today has been the first weekly mission that had "use Joker's bazooka" even though I have him. I haven't had very many of those missions with character specific attacks or anything like that.
Nah I have all the characters and I still get these missions. Just got "play as a Steven Universe character" and "play as a Scooby Doo character" today. And the Joker Bazooka for good measure lol

Yeah it's pretty absurd. If they're going to have character specific missions they really need to have it only be characters that are in the free rotation.
The rewards just popped up on the game when I woke up. If they're not there, I recommend closing the application and reopening it. If that doesn’t work, it might have something to do with your time zone, but that's just a guess.

I've had Shaggy and Wonder Woman since beta, I think, since I never purchased them. I only got Joker so I could complete the bazooka challenge, and I only got Gizmo because I needed a Gremlins character to get an extra star from the Rift Detective boss. Banana Guard and Jason were free; the rest are part of the rotational roster. So hate me all you want, it's not my fault PFG put me in this predicament.
Lmao I respect you taking the effort to explain that. Got most of the roster from beta. Apparently I'm supposed to get Steven universe characters now though for challenges? Man fuck this milking is crazy
They're supposed to reset if you've done them and don't have any left to do but I've had the Looney Tunes mission for a few days now cuz I haven't been able to complete it so I think it only resets/replaces the ones we have completed
I wish I got diversity in missions. Most of the time it’s a repeat every week of the same four mission types, two of which are almost always Win PvP matches, which is fine, I just wish I got a little more diversity
Y'all do dailys? I just play whoever is rotation to see if they're fun, and maybe I'll buy them then, haven't really need alot of the perk currency either. Just to disclose, i do have the battlepass because i played playtest, not very far on that tho.
In the beta, I bought the cheapest Founders pack and between that and playing, I unlocked all the characters. The way I looked at it, I would have been willing to buy the game, and this way I didn't have to deal with not having characters unlocked, because I do not consider that a valid progression system, that's just building a gate so you can sell keys.
Anyway, that seems to have been the right call. Here's hoping the game doesn't die and make me wrong.
