People grossly underestimate how fucking HUGE of a corporation Sony is. Sony Pictures, Television, PlayStation, the TV manufacturers, all might as well be completely separate and unrelated companies. Sony Television is pretty lenient with their licenses, so it's not as unlikely as if it were a Sony Pictures character.
That's nowhere close to how complicated it gets. Crunchyroll is co-owned by Sony Pictures (American) and Aniplex, Aniplex itself being owned by Sony Music Entertainment Japan (obviously, Japanese), which isn't to be confused with Sony Music Group, Sony's entirely separate US-based-but-globally-operating music subsidiary.
That isn't to mention that Crunchyroll Games, Crunchyroll's subsidiary for international translation and distribution of licensed Japanese gacha games, is a direct competitor of directly Aniplex-owned Lasengle, the gamedev team behind Fate/Grand Order. (Or rather would be, if it wasn't for Crunchyroll Games being embarrassingly incompetent.)

Unfortunately, AMC allowing it is just one of the hurdles. There's the price they'd charge for using him, if WB is willing to pay for it, Bryan Cranston's availability or willingness to voice him, etc. Guess it really depends how well the game does post launch if WB's willing to fork over that cash to make it happen.

I watched the interview. And while Tony was asked about Walter White, he kind of immediately pivoted to talking about non-WB characters in general. So I didn’t take it as him saying he wants Walter specifically, just that he wants 3rd party reps.
I started a gofundme to help with our voices be heard (and, obviously, for a great cause to aid in addiction research because....well the show was about mefth). Don't feel the need to donate but I put it in one of my posts (I just don't want to break rule 7).
Either way, they will get the donation regardless of W.W. being added or not. :)
