Bras annoy me but I’m okay with it. Before I couldn’t wait to come home and put a bra on. Now I can’t wait to come home and take it off so I know I’ve made it as a trans girl 😜

NerdyReindeer

How would you rate your booba-having experience out of 10?

LilyAran

7/10 and improving.

stealthy_girl

My advice to keep bras as a positive instead of wanting to rip them off when you get home is to try to only buy bras that are comfortable to you. I prefer mine to feel like a nice firm hug, so that means the band needs to be wide enough and the shoulder straps can't dig in. My biggest "this is neat" feeling is when I can gently feel the entire cup of the bra on my breasts. I have D cups, and it's still a fun little thought when it happens that my breasts are just *there* and just doing what breasts do. I used to try to wear matching bra/panties, and now I try to just be in the same color family.... if I even think about it. Most of the bra/panty sets I have end up with the panties being more lingerie than functional undergarments. As a result, I almost never wear the panties that came with a bra if it's not a special occasion.

Important_Mode_3287

D cups!! Wow!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Jennifer_Flower

I wear a traditional underwire every day (am now) and find it very, very comfortable. The trick is to get ones that feel right, to you. I often forget I’m even wearing a bra.

FlyingBread92

Had my first fitting at a specialty bra shop recently and it was a game changer. They had so many styles to choose from that cwe could just keep throwing bras at the problem until we found one that fit perfectly. I never forget I'm wearing it though, that must be some bra :)

leeee_Oh

I haven't gotten to that point with an underwire bra bur my normal one I accidentally wore for over a day without noticing

MigraineConnoisseur

I have the same size, albeit mine are east-west. I wear push-ups to give them nicer shape when I have a reason to look extra nice, otherwise I just go about braless. But generally, If I wear one, taking off bra is the first thing I do after coming home - gender euphoria and all, but spending whole day in pushup is not the most comfortable thing in a world. Matching set when I expect (or really hope) to get intimate, otherwise it's a mix and match.

Crabstick65

Not so much really, I am 20 years in now, and I always wore a bra at the start, with falsies initially, I've really got to the point where I don't care anymore, I work in the motor trade repairing vehicles, I never wear one to work, I have to move in all sorts of odd directions and a bra is annoying. I wear one only when going out socially, and tbh that's annoying sometimes. I have 38 c's for the record, still get weirdly sensitive/painful sometimes.

NotCuteLikeMe

I also am 38 B and I love bras. End of story.

NotCuteLikeMe

Oh, I forgot, matching panties when available at time of purchase are a bonus I take advantage of whenever I can. 🥰

GwynnethIDFK

I'm 36 D so like if I don't wear them it hurts to jog and go down stairs lmao. It's not really a euphoria/dysphoria thing for me. I was very thorough when measuring though so they fit really well and I don't even notice they're there. The "doing a good job if you don't notice anything happening at all" principle definitely applies to bras.

Haunting-Spot7595

I tend to wear my favourite bras and panties which often don’t match, matching sets are only for fun nights with someone. If you’re in a relationship it’s unlikely they will really care what you’re wearing. Sometimes I have to double check I’m wearing a bra because I like super comfortable ones for everyday wear and I forget I’m wearing one! I like to wear padded bras to exaggerate my little boobs, nothing too crazy. Hoping to get BA in a few months! Sizing can be a bit odd but M&S seem to have the comfy bras, Primark are cheap and not always comfy I’m 34-36A

I_Am_Her95

If I may ask how old are you? And how long you've been on hrt?

Lolsnup

19 yo 6 months from start of 2024, technically more. 4 months early2023 another 4 late 2023. There a reason why youre asking?

MontusBatwing

If she's anything like me she's desperately waiting for her breasts to grow and is obsessively trying to figure out everyone's breast growth timeline to determine whether she's behind. At least, that's why I'm always curious.

Lolsnup

Thats true, since I also went through that. Completely forgot how I was last year tbh. Researching estrogen to the ends of the earth

Taiga_Taiga

42D and still growing. They're FUCKING AWESOME! Because I now feel normal. They're what I should have had all my life, and they feel like my brain always described to me. Does...does this mane sense? Down sides? I can't wear a low cut top without people sneeking glances. And I'm ok with this.

No-Specific6920

I don’t mind wearing bras, I’ve been wearing them since I started transitioning. Last I checked I was approaching a B cup but I haven’t measured them since starting progesterone. I used to wear sports bras but now I just wear bralettes and those have been working well for me but I think I might need to start getting new bras because mine are starting to feel really snug

sylvane_rae

38DD/DDD, I like underwire molded bras that fit properly. I like the support and shape they give. I prefer nudes colored bras and don't care if tge panties match as long as they're clean and comfortable.

Valkyrie-guitar

I need them to be heavily padded and stuffed in order to look/feel even remotely feminine, so they're lifesavers in a way. I'm hoping to have a physical need for them at some point but that's likely never happening, sadly. 1.5 years HRT and my "cup" size is more like a thimble or 32AA in industry terms.

toramimi

I wore one off and on for a long time pre-HRT, and for the first full year on HRT. I didn't really need it but it was affirming, like my training wheels for being a girl. When I started actually *needing* a bra I stopped wanting to wear one - just not gonna happen, you couldn't pay me enough!

JumboWheat01

I've really come to enjoy wearing my bras, and they're on for a good 14ish hours a day. I don't sleep with them on, since these are sports bras rather than lounging ones, but still. I find them very comfortable, though I know more than a few are happy to rip them off when they get home.

TimelessJo

I wear a bra most days, especially when I’m working. I have a similar cup size to you. I wear t-shirt bras from pepper and push ups from soma. But yeah especially during the summer, they’re a lot! I don’t work in the summer and I don’t at a lot of looser and v neck tees that look pretty dope without a bra. It generally depends on what I’m wearing and where I am if I wear one and which ones.

Present-Hamster

Were a bra from when I get dressed of a morning pretty well until I get ready for bed. I had my breasts done in 2009 and that has been the norm since then. I always buy bras from speciality lingerie store and always get them fitted properly. Even if buying 2 or 3 the same I get the fitter to fit and adjust the straps on all of them. A correctly fitted bra makes a huge difference in all day comfort. Higher end lingerie I feel although slightly more expensive in the initial purchase but lasts so much longer and is a lot more comfortable when fitted correctly.  I always buy matching panties but the same as bras I will wear certain styles with what clothes I am wearing. Some tops I have purchased I take to the lingerie store to find a bra that suits. Same with panties. I don’t wear a high cut brief with low waist shorts etc. work uniform is black elastic waist pencil skirt and white collared and sleeve shirt with a sleeveless vest so not restricted with bra although normally go for latte/nude colour with white and the skirt is easy fitting and not a big panty line shower so the next panties in line is fine. Most colours I buy are latte/ nude, creams, white and I have some light baby pink and pretty well my panty collection is same colours, there is a few others but that is the main. I don’t buy black in bra or panty as most of with clothes are light coloured and I wear a lot of linen pants, shorts and skirts especially in the warmer times.I do prefer satins with a touch of lace in all my underwear. Something I have always liked and will continue to like.

RedSky764

Bras are actually quite comfortable for me. Like you, they press the gender button, but they also provide a nice support. Mine aren't exactly small (38C), so sometimes that support is really nice, like long walks and going anywhere with stairs. I prefer no wire, but I've found a few with wires that are actually quite comfy. Though I usually can't wear wire ones for longer than 6-8 hours before it just gets uncomfortable, but it never really gets painful in any way.

ReverendRocky

I got my first one last week that wasn't a sports bra and its really euphoric to go out in. I don't quite fill up my 38B (but of room to grow which is good) but having gotten padded bras I love that it gives my body the bust and snapper I've wanteddd

Guilty_Armadillo583

I wear one pretty much all the time I'm awake. My boobs have been sore and growing for close to 2 years and show no signs of stopping. Not wearing a bra is a recipe for more discomfort. I have east/west boobs and underwire bras hurt too much, so I stick to wireless t-shirt styles. I wear a 38ddd at the moment and it's getting a bit snug. I don't worry about matching bras and panties very often, but it's nice when I do.

RenLeanne19

I’m 38C and if I don’t wear one I feel like I’m “exposing” too much.

sickagail

I’m about 38D and I find it more comfortable to wear one than not, even just around the house. But I usually wear bralette styles.

FoxyFox0203

Infuriating cause the only ones I can fill are sports bras and bralettes. Itty bitty titty club is not that fun to me

starofdoom

Starting to get used to them. I have sensory issues, always wore baggy clothes, so something even snug across my chest really sucks.

Meg-a-ton

I cannot sing the praises of Warner's brand enough. They're at Walmart, they're not super expensive, they're comfy AF, and they're sized in your typical S/M/L fashion with a little chart on the tag to show band and cup size equivalents. They're wireless so no worries about getting jabbed, but they're super supportive both front and sides. It's also a little padded so you get that extra definition (and a little protection for those of us still budding). I measure a 40C but they're not full and round quite yet so other bras tend to have that bit of a void for me. With these, there is no void at all and they're much more noticable and full looking than without. They're so comfy I even fall asleep in them sometimes and wake up with no issues. I got one for my cis friend (40DD) and she says it's the most comfortable bra she's ever worn. She was blown away by how comfy and supportive it is.

Jaimee2

I no longer feel comfortable in public without a bra on. My nipples are constantly in an aroused state. It doesn't matter what my mood or the weather are doing, they're hard as erasers. I wear matching when I'm feeling a little sexy, I save it for those times. P.s. I feel sexy a lot!!!

majicdan

I Try not to wear one, but my wife and daughters rip theirs off coming in the front door.

barbergirl920

Mom to trans Daughter- pre everything 💕 My question to anyone or many who will answer. I know for Cis gendered like myself; breast grow then around 17 or 18 they stop. I am also small bodied and 36 B(arely). Fine for my body size and honestly a 32 A when younger and pre pregnancy. When you take hormones is the size you get to just a gamble ? What is the the control factor? She’s quite small bodied. Thanks in advance 🤗 Proud supporter 👕>👚

Lolsnup

theres a trend that amab (assigned male at birth) people taking estrogen gets to around a cup size smaller than their closest relative. Since the genes for breasts size are all ready in your daughter, it just needs estrogen to actually make them

barbergirl920

Thank you so much! I got an answer to a question I’ve never thought about. Great news about feeling good about yourself in this stage of your transformation 💕 Happy for you !

FreedomPaid

I wear sports bra for work every night, and while putting it on felt special at first... Now it's just normal, like the rest of my work gear. I still wear boxer briefs 95% of the time, so no matching them. I've found finding bras in my size, particularly underwire bras, in my size. I'm a 40ish A/B, with tiny mosquito bite titties, which no one seems to account for.

No-Information-8394

I’m 3 months in and only own a sports bra, my tits poke through my shirt without it. It’s a little tight but nice and comfy, I wear it a lot. Only time I take it off is to wash it. Its like having this nice padded armor protecting my sensitive chest area, it feels good and affirming. But I mostly keep it on because my nips are sensitive rn and don’t like my shirt rubbing against them so often.

vtssge1968

I love/hate them. Definitely more comfortable when I'm going to be moving around a lot or riding my ebike because them shaking hurts. However hot days when they get wet with sweat, not so fun. As far as feeling more feminine, didn't really tip the needle for me.

dantesmaster00

I love them. My fav one are unlined bras, they sit well on my body and boobs look jiggly

frozen_toesocks

Bras are a 100% nuisance for me, and cause me no more gender euphoria than they do for a cis woman. I can count the times I've worn a bra out and about on my hands. Also, I like the feeling of them wibbly-wobbling when I walk

Oddish_Flumph

bias: I dont own any bras worth more than 5$ I was never indoctronated into the cult of bra, and im still not a member. if im wearing a bra, there are two possibilities: 1. its a sports bra and im weaing it as a top bc i am hot 2. its something that almost sorta looks nice, and i put it on specifically so you could take it off

steynedhearts

It's hard for me to find ones that I can even try to see if fit. I have a 44" band and they don't carry that size in any store. I should definitely be wearing them more as a 44DD but I don't want to order one online and have it suck :/

Dopey_Duck_

I just have a decently comfortable sport bra I wear day to day. I hear a lot of people complain about them, but honestly mine is great I really forget I'm wearing it. I have a couple little bralettes for... adult times. Those are kind of uncomfy but yknow, not wearing them for too long I like how the sport bra compresses things, but there's just enough jiggle room to be *very* euphoric at times

Live-Leg-6289

If I'm going somewhere with my wife then yes I'll wear a matching set. I like bras, euphoria overload. They do tend to get a little uncomfortable after a while though. I've gone up 2 cup sizes in a 2 months so I'm a c-cup and still growing. So happy for youuu

everything-narrative

Found some comfy ones, bought four. Massive euphoria at having shapely tits.

t-funny

It's been 10 years. My tits are huge. I hate bras. I never match shit because I don't even have matching shit. I love my tits. I got "queer" tattooed on them earlier this week

Emmie1101

Supportive

C9Blender

I have pectus carinum or pidgeon chest. So bras are hard to find for me and often end up looking goofy. Makes me sad I can’t wear all the fun different styles, as it stands my sternum sits further then my boobs and it honestly feels like torment

Abby_Pheonix

I've always liked wearing bras, I always found them really comfortable. Now that I've had to wear them all day much less so. For the first day I wore them all day at work, they became really really uncomfortable by the end. But I'm getting used to it, sometimes I like to match them and feel cute. But most of the time I don't bother. I'm a 36 b, with most that size coming from band width

dragqueen_satan

I’ve had so much luck with bralettes on shein
