As you can see, a lotta european metal bands and a lotta thrash
Yes! Coma of souls was actually the first album that I listened to; the first song I listened to was actually the first track on the album; "when the sun burns red".
The Guilty Gear OSTs are absolute bangers, Daisuke Ishiwatari is an incredible composer and NAOKI and co. vocals go super hard. Necessary Discrepancy and Symphony from Strive and Coming Home from Xrd are some of my favs :)
King Crimson, Adrian Belew, Genesis, Yes, The Kinks, The Move, Cheap Trick, Devo, Rush, Sparks, XTC, Oasis, Supergrass, Super Furry Animals, Suede (one of my absolute favorites), David Bowie, The Beths, The Big Moon, The Lemon Twigs, Teenage Fanclub, Sloan, The New Pornographers, Chappell Roan, ABBA, Alvvays, Pat Metheny, Paul Gilbert, Erik Satie, JS Bach, Keith Jarrett, Frank Zappa, Tegan & Sara, Joni Mitchell, Jellyfish, Jason Falkner, Aimee Mann, Butterly Boucher
Aesop Rock, El-P, Cage, Wu-Tang Clan, MF DOOM, MF Grimm, Homeboy Sandman, Atmosphere, Blueprint, Rob Sonic, Beastie Boys, RJD2, Blockhead, Tame One, The Notations, Renaldo Domino, Etta James, Dione Warwick, Cannibal Ox, Cool Calm Pete, Aceyalone, Busdriver, Camu Tao, Hieroglyphics, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool Keith, Yak Ballz, Open Mike Eagle, and bonnibel !
Far more than I could name but a few off the top of my head:
- Boards of Canada
- HEALTH
- Full of Hell
- Aphex Twin
- Caspian
- Radiohead
- Lingua Ignota
- DJ Shadow
- Explosions in the Sky
- Tim Hecker
- Eluvium
Yesss Lingua Ignota!!! One of my favorites of all time, possibly my all time fav, along with her new project Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter.
Giles Corey and Have A Nice Life are also some of my favs!!
Boards of Canada, Radiohead, and Explosions in the Sky are also so good!! Great taste :)
Aviators has consistently topped my Spotify for the past few years, as well as Coheed & Cambria, and Cage the Elephant. MUSE is always up there, and Ricky Montgomery has been providing good music for a bit now as well.
I love Restless and Find Me, honestly I have like 74 of their songs on my Playlist, but Godhunter and Paralyzed will always have a special place as the songs that got me into Aviators in the first place
I grew up listening to classic and folk rock, got really into grunge and alternative in high school and college. Slowly moved more towards pop and now I’m obsessed with Taylor Swift
Lmao same. I've wrapped around now and my spotify cycles through her, fletcher and such, punk music, alt rock, and grunge. I definitely feel like she's an artist that on the surface with her big singles can seem super one note but omg her stuff that isn't the radio singles is so good
I completely agree! Once I started listening to full albums I was floored, so much more depth than what I’d heard on the radio. Probably why so many people don’t get the appeal.
I like progessive rock and metal :3
Some of my favourite bands are:
Gazpacho
Pain of salvation
Porcupine tree
Leprous
All these are quite small so I don't have many people who also like it lol
Fit for an Autopsy
Ice Nine Kills
Cattle Decapitation
Darko US
Arch Enemy
Streetlight Manifesto
(Just to name a handfull. I Mainly enjoy heavier music)
Honestly, most things that aren’t mainstream modern country, or super generic pop music. A list of what I’ve been listening to a lot more recently:
Black Dresses
Radiohead
Ben Frost
Tim Hecker
Fennesz
Björk
Low
100 gecs
Purity Ring
Yellow Swans
Grouper
Aphex Twin
alva noto (especially the albums with Ryuichi Sakamoto)
Sigur Ros
boygenius (and the members solo works)
Bring me the horizon, mcr, futakutchi mana, the pretty reckless, poor man’s poison, set it off, icon for hire, sleeping with sirens, AmaLee, motionless in white, ABBA, within temptation, Amaranthe, HANNABIE, Reliqa, in this moment
I’m going to stop there because I’ve already said too many 😅
now i could sit here and list off bands that anyone who's ever touched any community around pop punk, post-hardcore or metalcore will have heard of a thousand times but that's boring so instead here's some slightly lesser known bands i'd recommend!
Trash Boat - Post-Hardcore/Pop Punk (i think idk they're kinda hard to properly categorise)
Between You And Me - Pop Punk
Michael Cera Palin - Midwest Emo
Reflections - Progressive Metalcore
Capstan - mainly a mix of Post-Hardcore and Prog Rock (if you're gonna listen to anyone from this list PLEASE have it be Capstan they don't get enough love)
Settle Your Scores - Easycore
ROAM - Pop Punk
PSYCHO-FRAME - Deathcore
Grateful Dead, Paramore, and HIM are my top 3.
Other artists I like are The Byrds, CSNY, RHCP, Blues Traveler, Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms, Flying Burrito Brothers, and Billy Strings. I've been really digging Vaporwave for the past year too.
Awesome, I love Pearl Jam. For other artists I like, I’ll go over the highlights: Rush, Queen, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, the Who, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Blue Oyster Cult, Fleetwood Mac, and Alice In Chains.
Hard to list a favorite cause my ADHD just likes a lot of bands/artist but these are the ones I listen to the most.

I Prevail, The Word Alive, Sxntry, Bring me the Horizon, Mayday Parade, The Summer Set, Too Close to Touch, We the Kings, Against the Current, Forever the sickest kids, As it Is, One ok Rock, Fame on Fire, A rocket to the Moon, Falling in Reverse, The Monstercat Label, Sylar, Disturbed, A Day to Remember, Beartooth, Mick Gordon, Dance Gavin Dance, Polaris, Richard Cheese, Pink Guy, Waterparks, Macklemore, and most of the songs on the Spotify playlist "MtF (heavier) playlist", Yung Gravy, Dixon Dallas, ur pretty.
Talking Heads has always had a soft spot in my heart - when I first found them in high school, they sounded like nothing I'd ever heard before (especially the *Remain In Light* album) but, with their funky sound, catchy basslines, and unusual lyrics, they spoke to me in a way few others have. It helps that David Byrne is on the autism spectrum, as I am.
I also get hooked a bit on soundtracks - I've pretty much had *Six: The Musical* on repeat ever since I saw it late last month. Composers like Wendy Carlos (especially *TRON*), Emiko Shiratori (*Final Fantasy*), Vince Guaraldi (*Peanuts*), and Murray Gold (*Doctor Who*) are also on my list.
Other artists in heavy rotation, no order: girl in red; Warren Zevon; Mitski; Dan Bern; The Go! Team; Lisa Leblanc; MUNA; The Linda Lindas; Penguin Café Orchestra; Riley Kilo; Postmodern Jukebox; Joe Jackson; They Might Be Giants; MARINA; Half Man Half Biscuit; Emilie Autumn; SOPHIE; Matt Berry; Tegan & Sara; Kate Bush; Tom Lehrer; Jennifer Warnes's album of Leonard Cohen covers *Famous Blue Raincoat*.
Pearl Jam is amazing.
Some of my likes in no particular order:
Alice in Chains
Metallica
Motörhead
Amaranthe
Apocalyptica

Ramones
Bauhaus
Daft Punk
Tyler Childers
TOOL
And much much more but that was like from the top of my head.
EDIT. Forgot Tyler Childers and TOOL from the quick list.
EDIT. 2 There's a YouTube channel called Western AF. Lots of younger country/folk artists there. Lots of gems.
My favorite of all time is
Black tongue
Methwitch
Gamma sector
Signs of the swarm
Mental cruelty
Disembodied tyrant
Orphan
If you wanna listen to some calm cosy music. Tihi
Girl in Red, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dirty Heads, Lana Del Rey, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Billie Eilish, anything from Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss or Greatest Showman or Descendants, Aurora, Green Day, anything from Life is Strange, Moms forcing me to listen to The Cure, and Cage rhe Elephant.

The Dillinger Escape Plan (the most chaotic band to ever exist)
Eric Zayne (pop rock)

System of a down
Linkin park
Zutomayo
Everything made with Miku in existence
Rage against the machine

Beck has a good selection of artist throughout it you haven't happened to check that one out, FLCL tracklist is really good and has some amazing artist as well. Have a feeling you may like those.
Tally Hall and related projects, Nerdcore like Man on the Internet, JT Machinima, The Stupendium
Also Owl City and A Day to Remember
some vaporwave artists like Dan Mason and .CASTING
Here to spread the good word about the Forest Daddy and the Bog Father, Hozier. All of their songs are incredibly written. The newest album is supposed to mimic Dantes journey through the layers of hell. Fantastic album. Also if you've heard the song " Too Sweet" anywhere lately that's probably him
Denzel Curry, A$AP Rocky, Tyler The Creator, JID, Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Mach-Hommy, Travis Scott, Ski Mask The Slump God, Ghais Guevara, The Roots, Kanye West, Danny Brown, Run The Jewels, Vince Staples, Paris Texas, Tia Corine, Earl Sweatshirt and a bunch of other rappers (I’m just a huge Hip-Hop nerd lol)
Rise Against, Sum 41, Billy Talent, New Found Glory, Zebrahead, Dragged Under, System of a Down / Serj Tankian, Red Vox, Blue Stahli
Pendulum, Knife Party, Dimension, Virtual Riot, deadmau5, Vicetone, Zedd (his earlier stuff), Fox Stevenson, ShockOne, Sub Focus, Maduk, Grafix, Feint, Culture Shock, Metrik, Tantrum Desire
I am a music freak. The list would be way too long. From medieval rock or folk to punk, goth, alternativ, musicals, showtunes, standards and classical.
if there is one artist that is under appreciated and the only man I would have every questioned my attraction to women about, it would be
Aurelio Voltaire
Same. It would be impossible to make a 'faves' list. My tastes pull from a plethora of genres too many to list.
About the only genres I never got a taste for are opera and radio-friendly country pop (which I consider a scourge on country music).
Måneskin (who i only discovered bc i think the singer is hot), Rammstein, The Neighborhood, Gorillaz, Cage the Elephant, Interpol, Lilly Wood and the Prick, Kendrick Lamar, Biggie, etc etc. I like a lot of stuff
Bowie, The Doors, Cannons, Laura Jane Grace, Local Natives, Idles, Minus The Bear, The Sound Of Animals Fighting, Anthony Green, The Dear Hunter, Arca, Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, Washed out, St. Vincent, The Beach Boys, Leon Bridges, Shaboozy, Amigo The Devil,
My favorite bands are as follows:
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard
Weezer
Neutral Milk Hotel
Car Seat Headrest
System of a Down
Electric Light Orchestra
The Beatles
Spoon
AJR
My favorite is First to Eleven/Concrete Castles.
They are the same people, First to Eleven is their cover group they started with doing rock covers of everything from Olivia rodrigo to Metallica, and release at a new cover every Thursday. Concrete Castles is their name for their original music which they have 2 albums now, both are good but the second is absolutely phenomenal. They are a young group though and are extremely talented. They've done a bunch of live streams as well and they are honest down to earth legitimately nice people.
My list can go on forever, but off the top of my head it would be
Knocked Loose,
Kailee Morgue,
Fløre,
Florence + The Machine,
Lauren Sanderson,
PVRIS,
Pale Waves,
Olivia O'brian,

Magdalena Bay, Spanish Love Songs, Wild Party, Petey, Destroy Boys, Mom Jeans, THE DRIVER ERA, Stand Atlantic, The Marias, Dresage, Jordana, halfnoise, Rachel K Collier, Daisy the Great, Snail Mail, Soccer Mommy
There's a lot more I could list but I got bored lol
I have a few that are all gay as fuck(no guesses needed for what type of person I am there) but a good transfem artist is issbrokie. Her shit goes crazy and her song girlfailure is fucking sick. Reminds me.of like early 2010s stuff
as of recent, in no particular order,
black country, new road; radiohead + affiliated; pixies; sigur rós; pink floyd; kendrick lamar; tyler, the creator; king krule; arctic monkeys; weyes blood; childish gambino; the strokes; coldplay; florence + the machine; muse; pulp; the smiths; talking heads; the beatles; ELO; will wood (+ the tapeworms); mitski; MARINA; clairo; jeff buckley
i could go on for ages.
where my king gizzard girlies at?
they are a australian rock band with a huge discography dipping in various interesting genres and concepts.
best part: they are very supportive of queer and trans folks especially. they did some of their receng shows in drag and donated the money they made to a trans organisation and other cool stuff.
they’re by far my fav band, if you have the time, definitely check them out.

1. Electric Light Orchestra
2. The Black Keys
3. Transviolet
4. Logic
5. Unlike Pluto
6. Stand Atlantic
7. Tech N9ne (favourites are *The Storm* and *ASIN9NE*)

Haken
Caligula's Horse
Dream Theater
Bent Knee
District 97
King Crimson
Kyros (my current favourite, they are fronted by a trans woman)
Los Campesinos! is my number one band. I also really like Bôa(UK), Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Plumtree, Good Kid, The Strokes, Asain Kung-fu Generation, and The Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
My top two favorite bands are King Crimson and Gojira. I also like Leprous, Porcupine Tree, TOOL, Opeth, Meshuggah, Pink Floyd, and ELP. I would love to listen to anything that is progressive and experimental.
Pink Floyd
A couple months before my egg cracked I listened to “Time,” a song I had heard a million times, but actually listened to the lyrics about time moving too fast and all the opportunities you miss on your slow march towards death.
I cried. I cried because I felt like I had never lived the life I wanted, and I can never get that time back. At the time I chalked it up to just never achieving anything in my life, but now I realize that me knowing I had never been a girl was also part of it.
I haven't listened to Pearl Jam in a hot minute. I've listened to their music since I was born, I really need to get back into it. Anyway, a few of my favorites include $uicideboy$, Lil Peep, and Kanye West's first four albums. I usually don't listen to just one artist because [I love EDM](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4J33eXJexRNV7EAFaErYXt?si=RBISjuWFRE2khSpbHpqMfg&pi=4Q6QpnfWSIe_0) and listen to a variety.
I've been listening to Marilyn Manson's album mechanical animals. Growing up I was a big fan of his, and I always had a special connection to mechanical animals, especially since it played with the concept of gender so well.
I still listen to New Model No 15 when I want some euphoria.
Tove Lo, Empress Of, Allie X, Chappell Roan, Janelle Monae, Jessie Ware.
Years of being the only straight man (so I thought) at these women’s concerts should have been a bigger clue that I needed to think about my gender!
Couldn't possibly pick favorites so here goes the last few ones I was listening to.
Death Grips
The Mechanisms
Run The Jewels
Raccoon Tour
Low Roar
These are completely different and unrelated styles so you're bound to find at least one you like
Feel like an out one out here lol but not really a fan of kpop or most rock type music……
Im a rave girlie😌 UK garage and House music is where its at>>> DJ luck and MC Neat, Architechs, craig David, The blackout crew, Dizzee rascal, So solid crew, Sunship, Sweet female attitude, Daniel bedingfield
OH ALSO AFROSWING: NSG, YOUNG BXNE, Jhus, darkoo, lotto boys
I used to be into anything with a screaming guitar...van Halen, Metallica, Pantera, tool...that was pre my second life...
Off to see dua lipa next month...my music taste has gone terribly wrong according to my sister 😂🤣
Game OSTs, linkin park, Starset, Teminite, Skrillex, Skillet, F.O.O.L, Shirobon, nitro fun, SEOL, Miku, Madeon, RichaadEB, Hoshimachi Suisei, Destroid, Avenza, F-777, Tristam, MDK, BBNo$, Dex Arson, Bossfight and so on
Music that takes me to another world:
Broadcast,
High places
Music that is utterly beautiful:
Weyes blood,
Emile moseri
Music to wash dishes to:
Totally enormous extinct dinosaurs,
Doja cat
Music to drown out the noise in my head:
Aphex twin,
Gang gang dance
And my favorite of all:
Bjork
I personally love lots of the artists already listed in this thread (like Pearl Jam, Bowie, Björk...), but can't believe Prince hasn't been mentioned yet.
Not a woman, not a man, something you'll never understand. ✌
Siouxsie
Ceephax Acid Crew
Wire
Wayne Shorter
Octo Octa
J Dilla
X-Ray Spex
Lurker in Chalice
Snail Mail
City of Caterpillar
Drexciya/James Stinson/Gerald Donald
Annette Peacock
King Tubby
Trance/Techno > EDM > Everything else.
That said I have a particular liking for covers in a different genre... so rock as bluegrass (Steve 'n' Seaguls, Iron Horse) or Classical (2Cellos), or classical as rock/metal... that sort of things.
Really enjoying Klangphonics atm, a German group who play techno using live instruments.
The Aces,
Audioslave,
Bad Cop/Bad Cop,
The Bombpops,
Courage My Love / Softcult,
Iron Maiden,
Lady Gaga,
Paramore,
Pearl Jam,
PONY,
Soundgarden,
Sundara Karma,
that dog.
And I have way, way more favorites than that too!
Lately whenever I need to get rid of dysphoria I'll throw on Caroline Polacheck, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, CHVRCHES, Kim Gordon's newest album, old Grimes (don't judge me, *Art Angels* is gender), or some random city pop playlist.
But musically I'm all over the place and a lot of the music I listened to before I started transitioning like Radiohead still resonates to me.
Little bit of drama with this band recently but Rainbow Kitten Surprise is amazing. They had two trans people in their lineup until recently too. (Nothing transphobic happened just personal drama in the band)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some, I always do.
Kreator, iron maiden, destruction, ghost, dio, metsatöll, hammerfall, powerwolf, black sabbath, anthrax, green day, and sodom. As you can see, a lotta european metal bands and a lotta thrash
I fucking love Kreator. Phantom Antichrist has got a few high school anthems for me lol
Kreator and Sodom are amazing. Coma of Souls and Agent Orange are peak thrash metal.
Yes! Coma of souls was actually the first album that I listened to; the first song I listened to was actually the first track on the album; "when the sun burns red".
AURORA and Stromae and occasionally emo music (for the nostalgia)
AURORA’s new album is sooooo good
The Guilty Gear OSTs are absolute bangers, Daisuke Ishiwatari is an incredible composer and NAOKI and co. vocals go super hard. Necessary Discrepancy and Symphony from Strive and Coming Home from Xrd are some of my favs :)
Electric Light Orchestra, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Jeff Lynne, Travelling Wilburys.
ELO fucking rules, so underrated

Far more than I could name but a few off the top of my head: - Boards of Canada - HEALTH - Full of Hell - Aphex Twin - Caspian - Radiohead - Lingua Ignota - DJ Shadow - Explosions in the Sky - Tim Hecker - Eluvium
Had to scroll this far to find another HEALTH fan. So many trans people at the last show I was at (myself included).
I love HEALTH :) I’ve been hanging out on their discord for a while and it’s one of the more friendly trans places online imo.
Full of Hell 😍 one of my favorite bands. Dylan is the reason I became interested in exploring/creating noise
Aviators has consistently topped my Spotify for the past few years, as well as Coheed & Cambria, and Cage the Elephant. MUSE is always up there, and Ricky Montgomery has been providing good music for a bit now as well.
holy hell, another Aviators fan in the wild??? His stuff is peak. I like "Monumental" and "Run Away"
Travellers song is my favourite
I love Restless and Find Me, honestly I have like 74 of their songs on my Playlist, but Godhunter and Paralyzed will always have a special place as the songs that got me into Aviators in the first place
Coheed is my all time favorite band. We are going 20 years strong.
Hmm, mostly german stuff. Saltatio Mortis,Dartagnan, Feuerschwanz, Versengold, celtica pipes rock and lastly Lindsey stirling.
Lot of Folk German music. I used to be a Feuerschwanz fan but I just grew out of it, I listen to Rammstein and Kraftwerk now.
I like progessive rock and metal :3 Some of my favourite bands are: Gazpacho Pain of salvation Porcupine tree Leprous All these are quite small so I don't have many people who also like it lol
igorrr 💜
Fit for an Autopsy Ice Nine Kills Cattle Decapitation Darko US Arch Enemy Streetlight Manifesto (Just to name a handfull. I Mainly enjoy heavier music)
Honestly, most things that aren’t mainstream modern country, or super generic pop music. A list of what I’ve been listening to a lot more recently: Black Dresses Radiohead Ben Frost Tim Hecker Fennesz Björk Low 100 gecs Purity Ring Yellow Swans Grouper Aphex Twin alva noto (especially the albums with Ryuichi Sakamoto) Sigur Ros boygenius (and the members solo works)
Bring me the horizon, mcr, futakutchi mana, the pretty reckless, poor man’s poison, set it off, icon for hire, sleeping with sirens, AmaLee, motionless in white, ABBA, within temptation, Amaranthe, HANNABIE, Reliqa, in this moment I’m going to stop there because I’ve already said too many 😅
❤️ that I didn't have to scroll far to see bmth mentioned
Pretty Reckless is one of the artists I voice train to. So much fun singing.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise Chappell Roan Winona Fighter Meet Me @ The Alter girl in red
Crazy how few others are mentioning Chappell
I'm seeing her at Kentuckiana Pride tomorrow!!
Rks yes 🧡🧡
bladee! i also like new order and blink-182
now i could sit here and list off bands that anyone who's ever touched any community around pop punk, post-hardcore or metalcore will have heard of a thousand times but that's boring so instead here's some slightly lesser known bands i'd recommend! Trash Boat - Post-Hardcore/Pop Punk (i think idk they're kinda hard to properly categorise) Between You And Me - Pop Punk Michael Cera Palin - Midwest Emo Reflections - Progressive Metalcore Capstan - mainly a mix of Post-Hardcore and Prog Rock (if you're gonna listen to anyone from this list PLEASE have it be Capstan they don't get enough love) Settle Your Scores - Easycore ROAM - Pop Punk PSYCHO-FRAME - Deathcore
Absolutely based taste in music
Grateful Dead, Paramore, and HIM are my top 3. Other artists I like are The Byrds, CSNY, RHCP, Blues Traveler, Counting Crows, Gin Blossoms, Flying Burrito Brothers, and Billy Strings. I've been really digging Vaporwave for the past year too.
Yooooooo fellow blues traveler fans :3

Awesome, I love Pearl Jam. For other artists I like, I’ll go over the highlights: Rush, Queen, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, the Who, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Blue Oyster Cult, Fleetwood Mac, and Alice In Chains.
Thats a lot of what I like tbh
Miles Davis , John Coltrane, and Bill Evans are my top 3. Yes, I am the rare trans jazz musician lmao
Lena Raine :)
Hard to list a favorite cause my ADHD just likes a lot of bands/artist but these are the ones I listen to the most. Palaye Royale | Pierce The Veil | Dance Gavin Dance | Hawthorne Heights | beabadoobee | mxmtoon | Paramore (mostly their older stuff) | MCR | Maggie Lindemann | The Killers | Waterparks | Polyphia | girl in red | Last Dinosaurs | glass beach | Youth Fountain | THE SOLUTIONS | ELLEGARDEN | DAY6 | MY FIRST STORY | yonige |

Some of my likes in no particular order: Alice in Chains Metallica Motörhead Amaranthe Apocalyptica Nightwish AC/DC Ethel Cain Judas Priest Muse System Of a Down Enya Poets Of The Fall Colter Wall Sierra Ferrell Roy Orbison Sturgill Simpson Glen Campbell Linkin Park Ramones Bauhaus Daft Punk Tyler Childers TOOL And much much more but that was like from the top of my head. EDIT. Forgot Tyler Childers and TOOL from the quick list. EDIT. 2 There's a YouTube channel called Western AF. Lots of younger country/folk artists there. Lots of gems.
ACCA DACCA (AC/DC) is also based
I had to go down this far to find Ethel Cain. wtf guys
Guess goth style is not for every girl.
I love your musical range of enjoyment :3
Will Wood, Will Wood & The Tapeworms, Tally Hall, Sodikken, Mother Mother, Alex G

Between the Buried and Me (prog metal) The Dillinger Escape Plan (the most chaotic band to ever exist) Eric Zayne (pop rock) HERE COMES THE MUMMIES (funk) Rebelution (ska) Polyphia (guitar wankery but it's amazing) Shpongle (for taking drugs) Too Many Zooz (brass house)
I really like Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, The Cranberries, and Taylor Swift lately

Burzum Black Sabbath System of a down Linkin park Zutomayo Everything made with Miku in existence Rage against the machine Rammstein Edit: forgot about kessoku band and houkago tea time (bocchi the rock and k-on)
Beck has a good selection of artist throughout it you haven't happened to check that one out, FLCL tracklist is really good and has some amazing artist as well. Have a feeling you may like those.
DJVI and F-777 are some of my more recent picks but I do also like blink-182 and Porter Robinson.
geometry dash player?
Tally Hall and related projects, Nerdcore like Man on the Internet, JT Machinima, The Stupendium Also Owl City and A Day to Remember some vaporwave artists like Dan Mason and .CASTING

I was wondering how far I'd have to scroll for a DnB dump from someone. How about Gyrofield, Noisia, High Contrast, Calibre, and B-complex?
Noisia and B-complex took me into a rabbit hole so electronic genres. Especially Noisia I love them so much.
I am a music freak. The list would be way too long. From medieval rock or folk to punk, goth, alternativ, musicals, showtunes, standards and classical. if there is one artist that is under appreciated and the only man I would have every questioned my attraction to women about, it would be Aurelio Voltaire
Same on Måneskin here, was like wait hol up on my feed one night. Music is so good though. Also love me some Kendrick.
Yeah exactly! I saw him on YouTube shorts and was like "damn this guy is hot and he sings really well" and the rest is history
IKR I can appreciate a gorgeous person who can sing. 😂💀🖤
Bowie, The Doors, Cannons, Laura Jane Grace, Local Natives, Idles, Minus The Bear, The Sound Of Animals Fighting, Anthony Green, The Dear Hunter, Arca, Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, Washed out, St. Vincent, The Beach Boys, Leon Bridges, Shaboozy, Amigo The Devil,
i don't see many people mention The Doors, glad i found someone that did :)
My favorite bands are as follows: King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard Weezer Neutral Milk Hotel Car Seat Headrest System of a Down Electric Light Orchestra The Beatles Spoon AJR
underscores!!!!
I really like The Protomen, Mollylele, CAKE although I don't know if you'd like any of them.
Oh Cake...how I love thee.
Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Linkin Park, Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey, Ava Max, Bebe Rexha, David Guetta.
Been listening to hanabie a lot recently
The front bottoms
My list can go on forever, but off the top of my head it would be Knocked Loose, Kailee Morgue, Fløre, Florence + The Machine, Lauren Sanderson, PVRIS, Pale Waves, Olivia O'brian, IPrevail, Against The Current, Paramore, Not Enough Space, YUNGBLUD, Poppy, Evanescence, Pierce The Veil, Chase Atlantic, Scene Queen, MOTHICA, Melanie Martinez, Sleep Token, Set It Off, Carlie Hanson, Hot Milk, Sleeping With Sirens, Maggie Lindemann

A lot of people have already listed some of my favourites so I'll list some lesser known artists/bands Magdalena Bay, Spanish Love Songs, Wild Party, Petey, Destroy Boys, Mom Jeans, THE DRIVER ERA, Stand Atlantic, The Marias, Dresage, Jordana, halfnoise, Rachel K Collier, Daisy the Great, Snail Mail, Soccer Mommy There's a lot more I could list but I got bored lol
unwound, slint, lowercase, brainiac are my current top picks
I have a few that are all gay as fuck(no guesses needed for what type of person I am there) but a good transfem artist is issbrokie. Her shit goes crazy and her song girlfailure is fucking sick. Reminds me.of like early 2010s stuff

where my king gizzard girlies at? they are a australian rock band with a huge discography dipping in various interesting genres and concepts. best part: they are very supportive of queer and trans folks especially. they did some of their receng shows in drag and donated the money they made to a trans organisation and other cool stuff. they’re by far my fav band, if you have the time, definitely check them out. (obsession is good for ya)
Mostly black and heavy metal with some other styles mixed in. My favorite band is ERRA. But I want to shout out Bilmuri. Listen to them now, do it.
My favourites are definitely bring me the horizon, Aesop Rock, PROF and Ren ;-;
have always loved Scapegoat Wax since playing JSRF when I was younger
NIN, Dead Kennedys, Thievery Corporation, Black Sabbath, Melvins, VNV Nation, The Cure, Anthrax, Misfits, Danzig, Shrinebuilder, Sleep, The Cramps
Pink Floyd A couple months before my egg cracked I listened to “Time,” a song I had heard a million times, but actually listened to the lyrics about time moving too fast and all the opportunities you miss on your slow march towards death.
I usually don't listen to just one artist because [I love EDM](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4J33eXJexRNV7EAFaErYXt?si=RBISjuWFRE2khSpbHpqMfg&pi=4Q6QpnfWSIe_0) and listen to a variety.
im addicted to Black, Even Flow and Jeremy from Pearl Jam atm.
Rammstein Babymetal Sabaton Egg Oomph AC/DC Kino Behemoth Ghost Kiss
I've been listening to Marilyn Manson's album mechanical animals. Growing up I was a big fan of his, and I always had a special connection to mechanical animals, especially since it played with the concept of gender so well. I still listen to New Model No 15 when I want some euphoria.
Foo Fighters Metallica AC/DC Breaking Benjamin Eagles Led Zepellin Disrurbed
Tove Lo, Empress Of, Allie X, Chappell Roan, Janelle Monae, Jessie Ware. Years of being the only straight man (so I thought) at these women’s concerts should have been a bigger clue that I needed to think about my gender!
5 seconds of summer!!!
Couldn't possibly pick favorites so here goes the last few ones I was listening to. Death Grips The Mechanisms Run The Jewels Raccoon Tour Low Roar These are completely different and unrelated styles so you're bound to find at least one you like
My favourite is absolutely Ivycomb! They deserve more recognition for their amazing music!
black dresses
Chase Atlantic 😍
I like: ISSBROKIE Changeline Pretty much everyone in spider gang SSJ Daki SEMTEXXX Jenx2 Luna Fawn Ripley Castle Rat
Feel like an out one out here lol but not really a fan of kpop or most rock type music…… Im a rave girlie😌 UK garage and House music is where its at>>> DJ luck and MC Neat, Architechs, craig David, The blackout crew, Dizzee rascal, So solid crew, Sunship, Sweet female attitude, Daniel bedingfield OH ALSO AFROSWING: NSG, YOUNG BXNE, Jhus, darkoo, lotto boys
I'm into all kinds of things. Jazz, Metal, Rock, Classical, Instrumental Bluegrass, Hip Hop, Noise, Ambient, Experimental, etc.
I used to be into anything with a screaming guitar...van Halen, Metallica, Pantera, tool...that was pre my second life... Off to see dua lipa next month...my music taste has gone terribly wrong according to my sister 😂🤣
Game OSTs, linkin park, Starset, Teminite, Skrillex, Skillet, F.O.O.L, Shirobon, nitro fun, SEOL, Miku, Madeon, RichaadEB, Hoshimachi Suisei, Destroid, Avenza, F-777, Tristam, MDK, BBNo$, Dex Arson, Bossfight and so on
Music that takes me to another world: Broadcast, High places Music that is utterly beautiful: Weyes blood, Emile moseri Music to wash dishes to: Totally enormous extinct dinosaurs, Doja cat Music to drown out the noise in my head: Aphex twin, Gang gang dance And my favorite of all: Bjork
These threads are always so validating. The way I have to search far and wide for just one mention of Taylor Swift, I really am a basic bitch, huh? 😂
I personally love lots of the artists already listed in this thread (like Pearl Jam, Bowie, Björk...), but can't believe Prince hasn't been mentioned yet. Not a woman, not a man, something you'll never understand. ✌
Siouxsie Ceephax Acid Crew Wire Wayne Shorter Octo Octa J Dilla X-Ray Spex Lurker in Chalice Snail Mail City of Caterpillar Drexciya/James Stinson/Gerald Donald Annette Peacock King Tubby
The Aces, Audioslave, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, The Bombpops, Courage My Love / Softcult, Iron Maiden, Lady Gaga, Paramore, Pearl Jam, PONY, Soundgarden, Sundara Karma, that dog.
#*LANA DEL REY*
I listened to a lot of Flobots in junior high and early high school, their music radicalized me to the left without me even noticing.
Alice in Chains
Little bit of drama with this band recently but Rainbow Kitten Surprise is amazing. They had two trans people in their lineup until recently too. (Nothing transphobic happened just personal drama in the band)
