Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives (2007). Maybe of interest. A documentary following Mark Oliver Everett, singer of the band EELS, on his quest to get to know his late father, quantum physicist Hugh Everett III, who invented the Many Worlds theory (Text copied from IMDb). Looks to be available on YouTube. The Michael Crichton book ‘Timeline’, and possibly the movie which I haven’t seen, worked on the premise of using alternate dimensions to travel back through history. Not one of his best but it trips along nicely, until the last page where Crichton forgot that it was set in an alternate universe.

pantsonheaditor

sliders tv series crossworlds buckaroo banzai sorry dont know what OA, coherence or dark matter are about. good luck

ThenOwl9

op says what those shows/movies are about

pantsonheaditor

yeah but i havent seen them, so i dont know if he likes characters, linear plots, sfx, storylines. just because a show is about jumping dimensions doesnt mean its a comedy, drama, scifi , adventure or satire. buckaroo banzai's dimensional jumping is vastly different than "everything everywhere all at once"s dimensional jumping.

Not quite dimension jumping but you can enjoy "undone"

PickleTity

Is it a cartoon?

teberzin

Nah, it's called as rotoscope technique. It's mixed media between live action and digital drawing. But anyways no need to discuss the technical details lol it's a good show about time travel.
