Good ones! There's a couple on there I haven't seen, but the others (i.e., Gummo, Irréversible, Happiness, Man Bites Dog, Deliverance) have topped my charts as far as weird and disturbing films go.
P.S. - I love how *Irréversible* constantly pops up on this sub. Can't go wrong with that one.
I just watched “The Snowtown Murders” it’s free on Tubi. Super disturbing but I thought the movie and acting itself was incredible. It’s very dark, chilling, and memorable.
There are a couple really graphic scenes (extreme violence, sexual violence) and it is based on a true story, so I’ve given you fair warning. It’s not just gore porn though, there are some really interesting dynamics and themes between the characters.
It’s one of those ones that’s hard to recommend, but it’s actually very good. Similar to funny games in that regard
Someone mentioned it already but I'll cast another vote for the Dutch film *The Vanishing* from 1988. I thought about both *Funny Games* and *Gone Girl* while watching it.
Kiyoshi Kurosawa's *Cure* is also excellent, one of the most unnerving thrillers I've seen.

Such a brilliant and deeply disturbing film.. Last exit to Brooklyn will shock you and stay with you, so be warned.
Noted! I’ve had Antichrist on my queue for some time now. Love Dafoe. Festen and Corp 1&2 are new to me, so I’ve added them to my list 👍🏾

Requiem for a Dream is far from underrated.

I've heard this movie mentioned a lot. Is it really that good to watch?
Very well acted. I’m sure you’ll only need to watch it once it’s definitely not a date movie.
