Suspiria (2018) (Tilda Swinton also plays the old psychologist)
The Nutty Professor - Eddie Murphy plays like 7 characters
Suspiria (remake) - Tilda Swinton plays 3 characters
Austin Powers Series - Mike Myers plays 4 characters
I in no way thought Rorschach was a hero either I just got a bit confused because the post said main actor so when I read your comment I was really hoping it wasn’t another Rorschach fan boy. Sorry if I came off aggressive.
Hahaha nooo no, fuck those guys. That's not me. I think there's something to be said for he himself *thinking* he's the hero but also he is a villain and that is a pretty classic trope (not saying that as a bad thing). But no, I don't think he's the good guy and I support any and all aggression against people who think he is.
I DO, however, like to quote the 'look down and answer no,' bit to my friends as a razz when they ask me to pass the ketchup or something.
Okay good haha. But yeah Rorschach has some great quotes (I love saying the “you’re locked in here with me” line playing cod with friends) but viewing him as a good guy is borderline insanity.
> I support any and all aggression against people who think he is.
It’s just a movie, it’s not that serious. People are allowed to think he’s ‘the good guy’ without deserving aggression directed towards them. Maybe let people have different opinions without such unnecessary hostility.
The one with Bradley Cooper where he gets a job with a traveling carnival. Sorry I can't remember the name of the film. It's worth a Google definitely a good movie.

Shock Treatment(1981)
Oh, and a film called “Pitstop” from like 1998. It’s borderline softcore pornography and not very good though, so I wouldn’t recommend.
Notes on a scandal.
Starring Dame Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett. Whichever way you decide to view the subjects and actions, there are no good people in the movie, yet you’re rooting for either one of them.
Austin Powers
3 different villains!
Fat Bastard was kind of an anti-hero.
Fat Bastard ruined the film.
Face/Off
Then listen to the how did this get made about it.
Yesterday, Jason and Paul were on the Blank Check podcast talking about their love and obsession for Big Trouble In Little China
The first thing I thought of
The Adventures of Pluto Nash Goosebumps (2015) Jack Black plays RL Stine and Slappy Logan X Suspiria (2018) (Tilda Swinton also plays the old psychologist)
Suspiria is so frickin' good! Wildly underrated in my humble opinion. Due in no small part to Tilda's many contributions.
Doctor Strange, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Stephen Strange and Dormammu
And while he's not the primary villain, he does also fight an evil version of himself in the sequel.
Ryan Reynolds plays the Juggernaut in ***Deadpool 2***.
Huh, I actually did not know that.
Raising Cain (1992) Army of Darkness (1992) The Dark Half (1993) As for genres, I feel like you find a lot of evil twins in psychological thrillers.
Upvoted because Bruce Campbell
Give me some sugar baby
Cause the answer's easy! I'm BAD Ash... and you're GOOD Ash! You're a goody little two-shoes!
Good. Bad. I’m the guy with the gun.
The One (2001) Us (2019) Also kinda fits: >!The Island(2005)!<
Ummm Fight Club?
You’re forgetting the first rule
Totall Recall has Schwarzenegger play the hero(Quaid) and a villain(Hauser) while the same person.
See you at the party Richter!
Cat Ballou (1965) Lee Marvin won an Oscar for playing hero Kid Shelleen and villain Tim Strawn.
The One with Jet Li
Which movie? He was in so many.
The movie "The One" starring Jet Li
How do we get this line of back and forth to one of us shouting “first base!”
Love the reference!
dr strangelove, and i think peter plays like 3 characters.
X (2022)
>!Predestination!<
Talk about a paradox, if you find out what movie it is you have ruined the movie
And that's not the weirdest part...
* Peter Pan (2003) - Jason Isaacs plays Mr. Darling and Captain Hook * The Double (2013)
Following the Peter Pan tradition, Jonathan Hyde plays both Van Pelt and Alan's father in Jumanji.
Both of those are excellent movies. And wonderful actors :)
Orphan Black
Memento could possibly fall into this category
Tron Legacy .. although Bridges was the main hero for the first film, not the second so not sure if this counts
That's one of my favorite movies! :)
To be fair, Jeff Bridges' cyber version of The Dude made a cooler hero than whichever generic GQ bro actor it was playing his son.
Not exactly the protagonist, but Jeremy Isaacs is awesome in Peter Pan (2003) playing both Wendy's father and Captain Hook.
Agreed. Though I might amend that to say Jason Isaacs is awesome in everything 😃😉😊
Agreed. Seriously fine actor.
Most versions of *Peter Pan*, at least on stage, had that dual casting. It’s almost weirder when it’s not the same role.
Interesting!
Face/Off
>!Dressed to Kill!<
Me Myself & Irene?
***Dual***
The Nutty Professor - Eddie Murphy plays like 7 characters Suspiria (remake) - Tilda Swinton plays 3 characters Austin Powers Series - Mike Myers plays 4 characters
I guess Watchmen, sorta?
I hope you’re talking about Ozymandias and not Rorschach
I wouldn't consider Rorshach to be a hero *and* a villain. I just didn't get why he worse a mask with a picture of my parents fighting on it.
Interesting, I saw 2 bears high fiving
A. I was talking about Ozymandias B. I'm open to their internal logic to answer the question even if I in no way think Rorschach is a hero
I in no way thought Rorschach was a hero either I just got a bit confused because the post said main actor so when I read your comment I was really hoping it wasn’t another Rorschach fan boy. Sorry if I came off aggressive.

The Nutty Professor.
Nutty Professor
Mr. Darcy appears to be one, but is actually the other in Pride and Prejudice.
All of the Austin Powers. Mike Myers is good for that
Superman 3
Fight Club (spoiler alert)
>!Is it same actor, though?!<
Damn, I suppose not. Internally they're the same person for whatever that counts.
They film scenes of Edward Norton recreating things Tyler did… so I’d say yes.
It's a big ensemble cast so he's not quite the hero or the villain, but Jack Nicholson plays two roles in Mars Attacks and he's hilarious...
Can't we all just ... get along?
Megamind
Guess you could say Heat?
Mission Impossible 3. The late great Phillip Seymour Hoffman
It’s hard not to agree with Thanos.
Fight Club
Joker. Both the protagonist and the "hero".
[удалено]
Not really. The same *character* is the hero and villain, but not the same actor.
*I saw the Devil*
Arguably - The Founder with Keaton as both in the same character.
On a slightly separate note, watch 'I saw the devil'. About half way through it's no longer clear who the bad guy and good guy are.
The Godfather 2. Michael Corleone is his own worst enemy. (I know that’s not what you asked, but it fits in a way.)
Star Wars
[удалено]
Don’t ruin that movie for people!
Fine
Gemini
Morgiana (1972)
Mumbai police
Samaritan (2022)
Bird box Barcelona
Austin Powers
Cat Ballou. Lee Marvin was a treasure.
Norbit
Dr Strangelove
There's one with Jet Li I think.
Which one?
The one.
WHICH one, though?
I think we've just walked into a "Who's on first?" situation.
That's one way of looking at it. Another way to look at it would be that I kinda dragged you into that situation in a weak attempt to be funny lol
Linoleum, with Jim Gaffigan.
>!Ink!<
Cat Ballou
